Life is all just a lie. It's all just a sick joke. Nothing is real in this world but your own mind. All I feel is pain and suffering. I try to stay happy and make it look like my life is just perfect. But its not. I have no home, no parents and no one cares about me. I feel like I shouldn't even live.
"Scootaloo, what are you doing here?" I heard a voice to the side of me.
“Huh?” I said as I looked over to see my only friends both staring at me in shock as I’m sitting in the pile of trash that I call home.
"What are you doing in a pile of trash?" said Apple Bloom.
“Oh, I just crashed into the garbage can and fell in. What are you guys doing here?” I said with slight hesitation.
“We were looking all over for you, you haven't came to the tree house in a while.” Sweetie Belle said in her always cheerful voice.
“Oh, I have been busy with a lot of things. How about we go for something to eat.” I said, hoping that they didn’t notice my sorrow.
As we were walking to Sugarcube corner to get some food to eat, I kept thinking to myself why did I even lie to my own friends. All I felt while walking was pain in my head and my stomach growling. This is all I really feel, just pain. I barely eat real food, I just eat some leftovers that were thrown in the trash. As soon as we got our food I scarfed it all down.
"Wow Scootaloo, you really are hungry aren't you?" Apple bloom said as she giggled slightly.
"Yah, I haven't ate all day." I said with my mouth full of food.
"So what should we try now to get our cutie marks this time?" Sweetie Belle said. "We could go and build something, or or, we should help PinkiePie throw a party!" She sounded so happy. I thought both ideas were fine but, I kinda wanted to go and see Rainbow Dash. I knew they would just say that I always suggest that to them, then just think of something else.
"Sure, why not." I said, with my head down, but the sorrow was all I could think. It was just sorrow and pain. Why will it never end. Sometimes I think that it will never get better, it will just get worse, it always does. We did everything we could think of that day, but all of it failed, it failed just like my life. Was I just a mistake. Did they just didn't want me. Why is my life like this. I'm living in trash and I hate everything about myself.
"Scoot, what's wrong. Are you ok?" I didn't notice that Apple Bloom was right next to me. I should really stop letting my feelings get to me, I don't want anyone to know what I feel. "Scoot, are you?" Apple Bloom sounded more worried.
"Yah. Yah i'm fine." I said as quick as I could.
“Well why do you look sad.” Apple Bloom didn't sound worried but the way she looked at me, she really wanted to know why I was sad.
“I’m just tired. I just want to sleep.” I said, trying to sound tired and wen't home for another sad day to end. A lonely night falls and I get home. I plop down onto a pile of rolled up newspapers I call my bed and cover myself with my ripped up blanket that I had since I was a filly. At least they cared just a little about me and didn’t want me to die in the cold. But why does that matter anyway, they are never coming back and I know it. Never mind all that, I just want to sleep, thats all I really want. I just want peace and quiet. But its hard to sleep. Its cold on the ground and its almost winter. But its fine, I will be fine, I can stay warm if I go next to the hole in the smoke stack. But, the fire isn’t burning and all I feel is cold air hit my face as I look through the hole. It was a bad idea because it just made me cry because of how their was a happy family sitting on their couch laughing and talking like life was just so great. I feel my eyes water as I start to feel the demons inside me tear my insides apart. All I want is someone to care for me, is that to much to ask. I want this evil to leave my body and stop making me think that I was just a mistake. I’m not a mistake. I have friends who care about me and love me, but, do they really love me for who I am, or do they just hate me. They seem to like me, but do they really. Are they just trying to trick me to join their sick twisted game. Just why, why would they do that. Would they just use me for what I can do and what I can't do. Are they just the demons that hold me down in disguise. No, just stop. Just stop thinking about all of this nonsense. I need to stay positive. I need to calm down and face my fears. I just, i just cant hold it in. My thoughts are trying to trick me, Is this the end for me. It's fine. I can last. I can live my live like a normal pony can. I can stay positive. Think of being with Rainbow Dash and her teaching you how to fly. The thoughts of it make me tear up. But its ok. I know she is my friend and friends help friends that are in need. Will she help me. Will she care for me. I haven't told her everything that is bad in my life. But I told her what she should know and I knew that she cared.
