Six months ago Equestria landed in the ocean, between Asia and North America. Three months ago the west coast of the US, Canada and the Isle of Japan started suffering from an unknown radiation poisoning. Two months ago the ponies were blamed and WWIII nearly begun, stopped only by Princess Celestia's short-term solution, The Conversion Bureau. A month and a half ago the ponies were once again called out on how those that went into the Bureaus never came back the same, but this was explained away by different chemical levels and how it affected one's brain. A month ago the HLF, otherwise known as the Human Liberation Front started attacking these bureaus and the PER, the Ponification for Earth's Rebirth responded by abducting people from various governments and converting them.

Two hours ago the head of Gentek, the world's leading expert company on genetics called for a world-wide press conference regarding a new solution to Magical Radiation poisoning.
