The First Meeting

I sat quietly and watched as the trees whizzed past the car window, the rain streaming down making the trees barely visible but not completely gone “when are we gonna get there” I complained to my parents for the seventh time.

“I told you Marcus we still have another hour to go” mum replied in a tired tone.

I sighed and turned my attention back outside the car sitting in boredom. The car was completely silent except for the radio playing in the background for another few minutes before my dad spoke up.

“Look when we reach the next town we can stop for something to eat OK?” he said in a gruff voice.

“Whatever” came my response, We drove for a few more minutes before I finally I smiled to myself as one of my favorite songs cam on the radio, I bobbed my head in time with the music before swinging my head back and forth in time with the beat, after the song had ended I began to feel tired and drifted off into a light sleep.

“WATCH OUT!” having ripped me from the dream scape my head whipped up and looked toward my mother in time to see a tanker swerve toward us colliding with the side of our Ute forcing us off the bank and into a tree, my vision blurred as I heard multiple shouts coming from atop the bank before passing out.

I slowly blinked my eyes staring into the abyss beneath me "where the hell am i?" I wondered as I looked around in the eternal darkness before slowly plunging toward the bottom of the abyss.

Spitfire's POV

“Pick up the pace you pansy” I shouted in the most serious voice I could muster “come on my grandma can fly faster than that and shes 83” I shouted again earning a tired response from the young colt.

“Can we please stop I've been flying in circles for nearly 5 hours now” he whined as he dropped to the ground in exhaustion.

“Fine” I said with a smile as he breathed in relief before I looked him dead in the eyes.

“But I expect you do to twice as long tomorrow” I added with a evil grin as he groaned again “alright dismissed...go shower you stink” I teased before walking off toward my office.

“another day wasted on training” I mumbled to myself as I walked through the oak door and into my office, I trotted over to my desk and removed my sunglasses and whistle placing them gently on the corner of it and sat down in the chair.

“So I could either stay here and do work or I could go home.....home it is” I got up from my seat and pick up some paper work and my glasses before walking out the door and in to the corridor "so what shall i have for dinner tonight" I pondered to myself "mm...better just go with take out i cant be bothered cooking tonight.

I walked out of the wonderbolt academy and took off into the skies toward home, it took about fifteen minutes but i eventually rounded the corner to my street when i saw something in the corner of my eye that snapped my attention, I quickly snapped my head toward it and froze as i saw a body plummeting toward the ground.

I took off at a speed that would put Rainbow dash to shame, I raced toward the falling body and tried to catch it but was caught by surprise at how big and heavy it was "sweet Celestia this thing is heavy" I muttered as i tried to stop it from falling to its death, i adjusted a bit before forcing my wings to pull us up slowing our decent but not enough as we were still falling quite quickly "buck!" I shouted and forced more energy into my wings.

I looked at the ground now only a short while away and cursed under my breath but felt my self perk up as i spotted a lake nearby, i smiled and pushed us over toward the water "buck my life!" i shouted as the water drew closer and closer to us, i smiled once more as we finally flew over the water but quickly realized this was still gonna hurt, i swung the body so it was on top of me and landed back first into the water almost blacking out as the water crushed my back like a bag of cement i fought to stay afloat while dragging the body back to shore with my teeth.

"H-hey are you ok?" I asked in a shaky voice, i looked over to the body and froze as i laid eyes upon its body, it was torn up and bleeding all over the place i ran over and placed my ear on it's chest to find a weak heartbeat.

"Oh buck..." I whispered "h-hold on i-i'll get help o-ok?" I stammered as i took off toward the nearest town.

I flew the skies ignoring the pain in my wings and back trying to get to a hospital or anything, I sighed in relief as saw a small town appear in the distance not to far "thank Celestia that didn't take ages to find" I sighed and flew up to the town searching for a hospital when I rushed into a cyan colored pony with a rainbow mane and tail.

Rainbow dash POV

I flew around the skies of Ponyville knocking out any clouds I could find "ha! i'll have this done in ten seconds" I gloated boastfully as I lazily flapped my wings, I smiled as I looked on at my work but was cut short as someone crashed into my back sending us plummeting to the ground "hey! what the buck was.....spitfire?" I asked looking at the crumbled pony "what happened?" I asked helping her up off the ground.

Spitfire's POV

"Rainbow dash is that you?'' I looked at the cyan pony before leaping to my hooves "dash you gotta help me!" I frantically said over and over to Rainbow dash earning a confused look from her.

"Wait why what happened spitfire" she asked with a concerned tone.

"No time just follow me" I took off flying in the direction of the bleeding body i had left by the lake.

"Please be ok" I repeated in my head as we neared the lake I saw the body and heard dash gasp behind.

"What is that thing?" She asked with a tone of curiosity and fright as she landed next to it and began circling around the body "what happened to it?''.

"I don't know" I responded "I was on my way home when it suddenly fell from the sky, I walked over to it and placed my head on his chest much to dashes distaste "ok it still has a heart beat" I sighed in relief.

"Dash we need to help it, please help me get it up" I pleaded as I picked it up trying to ignore the pain in my wings but collapsed to the ground as they locked up "aggh!"

"Spitfire! are you ok?" dash asked rushing to my side and began inspecting my wings "spitfire what happened to your wings!?!"

"Nothing i'm fine really" I argued with her standing up and testing my wings causing me to wince a bit

"Horse apples you are stay here with that thing and make sure it doesn't die" she stated before rushing off toward the town again

Rainbow dash's POV

I rushed over the town straight to twilight's and crashed through her window leaving her in a confused state as the library became the next war zone.

"Rainbow dash! how many times do I have to tell you to use the door like a normal pony" she whined.

"Ain't no pony got time for that" I said in a stern voice "spitfire needs help she hurt her wings bad" I continued on "but she found some weird thing that's been hurt pretty badly as well and you just need to come help" I picked her and flew out the window again heading for the lake

Twilight's POV

"Rainbow dash put me down this instant" I screamed at her but was completely ignored.

"What is she on about?" I thought to myself but if spitfire really had hurt herself than she needed help, I waited for the cyan Pegasus to stop near a small lake near a yellow Pegasus with a bright orange mane.

"Spitfire are you ok?" I asked in a concerned voice as I neared the injured Pegasus, as she nodded before quickly pointing to the bloody body next to her "what happened to him?" I almost shouted as the poor thing lay there covered in cuts and blood "quickly we need to get to the hospital" I said to rainbow as I lit my horn up and began casting a teleport spell to the hospital.

I watched as the scene around us faded and morphed into a new scene just outside the front of the hospital "help! we need a doctor!" I shouted at the top of my lungs drawing the attention of many staff members who quickly rushed and and froze at the site of a bloody bipedal creature before snapping out of it and bringing the both inside to be examined for their injuries.

I sat in silence as the doctors rushed past in a blur into the room of the injured creature, I stared at the ground in total disbelief of what had just happened in the past half hour. As I got up from my seat I saw rainbow dash walk through the main doors with the rest of our friends "Rainbow dash! over here" I smiled waving her and the gang over and pulling them into a hug.

"What in the hay happened sugar cube?" came a strong but worried southern accent.

"I'm not entirely sure myself" I responded sadly looking at the ground "when Rainbow dash got me they were covered in blood and one was gravely injured" I sighed and sat back down on the seat as a small butter colored Pegasus made her way over to me.

"Hey cheer up twilight we've got them into the best place they can be right now" came the soft and delicate voice of fluttershy.

"She's right you know" Rainbow dash shot out wrapping a hoof around my neck "well just let the doctors do they're thing" she said confidently giving fluttershy and I a big grin.

"SOMEPONY HELP!" the scream rang out through the halls, I turned toward the room with the creature in it then back at the girls "lets go!" I said to them already running toward the door.

"What happened!?!" I shouted as I ran through the door to find a bipedal creature wrapped in a bed sheet holding one of the nurses hostage with a needle against her neck who I recognized as nurse redheart.
