A Friend in Need
“Angel, what am I supposed to do?!?” The voice of the yellow pegasus was growing more anxious by the minute, “I’m just so confused and frustrated!” the anxiety was about to peak, she had had enough, “I could just scream! I could just… aaaaaaaaahh…” the tiny whimper of a scream was her best attempt. Fluttershy, as anxious and confused as she was, could never release her anger.
The bunny merely stared at her from the dresser, with an odd mix of sympathy and pity on his white furred face. “Oh Angel, I’m sorry for screaming, did I scare you?”
The bunny looked at her slightly amused; the mare was smart, but oblivious of her ability to scream.  “I need help Angel, I’m just so angry at myself, why can’t I just tell her? I mean it just have to be three words! Well, I guess that’s the minimum I can say, I really should say more, to really explain it, I don’t want her to take it another way, because then I would…” Fluttershy caught herself ranting “I need help, maybe Twilight can help me”
Fluttershy rushed over to the Library and knocked on her friend’s door. “Fluttershy!” Twilight said with a smile, “What brings you here?” Seeing the troubled look on her friend’s face, she let her inside. “Twilight, I need to ask you something…”
“Sure, anything for you”
“Swear not to tell anyone?”
“I swear”
“Pinkie Pie Swear?”
“Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my—AAH! Not again!” Twilight screamed as, yet again, she poked her eye with her hoof.
Fluttershy was slightly amused by the blunder and made the next few words easier to emit. “Twilight, I’m in love with Rainbow Dash…”

                        Revelations

Revelations
“When did this start? Why didn’t you tell us?” Twilight exclaimed, taken aback by this news.
“When I was a young filly, back in flight school, I was always made fun of” memories of the hurtful chants filled her ears, and tears welled up in her eyes “Rainbow Dash was the only one who cared for me, I had a person who I could truly call a ‘friend’. That’s all that I thought of her for the longest time, until one thing led to another and I finally realized my feelings for her, how beautiful she was with her brightly coloured mane and tail, her elegant wings, and how breath-taking she was to watch her fly…Oh Twilight! I need help!” The tears streaming down her cheeks, she lay down and buried her face in her long tail.
“Oh Fluttershy” Twilight put her arm around the neck of the pegasus, “I never knew, you hid it so well, I would have never suspected it.”  Fluttershy’s cheeks turned the brightest shade of red, “Don’t be embarrassed Fluttershy, it’s natural for some ponies to have feelings for the same gender! It doesn’t make you weird or anything, I think it makes you even more special!”
“But what will she say? Rainbow Dash could never fall in love with the slowest flyer in Equestria!”
“You’re right, you’re not the fastest flyer, but you are the kindest and most generous pony I know! Rainbow but can’t help but to notice that!” Twilight hoped that worked. It was completely true, but with Rainbow Dash, you can never know. “Fluttershy, what I’m trying to say is that you should tell Rainbow Dash. Tell her how you feel, and how it’s tearing you apart keeping the secret, she will listen.”
“But Twilight,” the sobbing pegasus choked out, “What if she doesn’t feel the same way?”
“Then it’s her loss, go give it a try Fluttershy!”
Fluttershy got up, dried her eyes and flew slowly towards the ever-so-familiar home of Rainbow Dash. Her nerves were getting the best of her as soon as she landed on the doorstep. After, what felt like an eternity, she gently knocked on the door.
