Chicago University was up to something.
That's what the profiler told him. The encryption on their computers was horrible. According to logs, they had developed a trans-dimensional portal. They were going to test it tomorrow.

Normally, this wouldn't have worried Aiden.
But this time, it did.

He had gotten an e-mail from a mob boss labeling himself "D-Cord". Aiden didn't know anything about him. The source was encrypted. After following it, he was dropped at the doorstep of MingHin Cuisine. From what he could tell, there wasn't anything in there. He had been misled.

So what? He was going to be paid several hundred thousand dollars for this fixer contract. He'd ship most of it to St. Louis, for Nicky and Jackson, but for now he was going to worry about the task at hand.
He needed to get to the ctOS provider just outside the university. That was going to be a problem.
Several police cars. After becoming a vigilante, he wasn't thrilled with the idea of blowing up the cars. He'd need a lure.

After quickly strapping some chemicals to some wires and a fuse, he lit it with a match and tossed it in the general direction of the university.
The police quickly ran to investigate what they thought was a shooting. Aiden ran to the ctOS tower and began to climb.
After reaching the platform, he did some fancy hacking.
"Turn that, that... that... press that... ten seconds..." he mumbled to himself.

After unlocking the system, he was able to hack into the systems. He climbed back down the tower, narrowly evading the returning policemen.
He went to the other side of the university, heading to the astronomy building.

Over on this side, there was stone walls instead of wrought iron fence. These were easier to scale due to the mass accumulation of ivy with stems as thick as quarters.

He leapt to the ground, grunting at impact. That was a six foot drop.
He was forty-five now. He really shouldn't have been pulling stunts like that.
It was a quick jog with no guard to the building. Once there, he climbed a relatively sturdy drain and hoped for the best.
After reaching the top, he picked the lock on the door with a skeleton key, and delved in. The lab was right across from him. His profiler picked up nobody but a single guard.

Aiden crept up behind him in silence and knocked him out with a few blows from the nightstick.
The door was a heavy-metal electromagnet door an inch thick. It was easily opened with a few choice clicks on the screen of Aiden's profiler.
He walked into the room and found the console, hacking it very slowly.
"This is probably the only computer in the building encrypted. What do they have to hide?" the Fox thought to himself while hacking.
After reaching the last level of security, he retrieved all the access codes, storing them on his phone. He ran from the scene toward his dumpster base, anxious that someone would go into the lab and discover the rigged computer.

His phone was the detonator. Back in the loop, in his base, he would press a few buttons and the access codes would activate the computer. He'd then overload the electrical input to the machine.
What he didn't take into play was the fact that the device needed a location. The phone would upload its own coordinates to satisfy the needs of the program.

Diving into his safe-haven, Aiden clicked the button, and was thrown into a parallel universe. A universe with a surprisingly large pony population.
