before we start the main story ill give you the opportunity to learn about the tragic twist of events that will lead us into the main storyline

lets begin shall we

I was awoken by the sounds of pounding on my door.

I look out my bedroom and stare at the large clock tower in the center of ponyville. The time on the clock read that it was around 7:30 in the morning, immediately after learning the time i have become very annoyed. Then the pounding started again but this time it was harder and faster this time "spike please get the door i just fell asleep from studying last night" i said in a mixture of irritation and grogginess. He mumbled and didn't move, "SPIKE!" I said in a pissed off tone. He jumped out of his basket with incredible speed and ran to the door to answer whoever is pounding on my door.

i heard a voice and crying in the library section of my tree-home.

"OMG OMG spike wheres twilight i need her right now!"

I recognize that voice its pinkie pie but she was crying so I jump to my hooves and rush downstairs. I enter the room and almost immediately pinkie galloped towards me and hugged me while she was crying.

"Whats wrong pinkie?" i asked in a concerned tone,

"oh twilight it was horrible, their entire lives are ruined!" she said in a angry-sobbing voice.

"what happened pinkie, relax and tell me slowly what happened." I said in a reassuring tone.

"ok, i was in the kitchen of sugar cube corner when i heard a loud bang and then i heard shouting."

"ok what else happened" i said.

"then i peeked into the shop and seen two guards yelling at Mr and Mrs.cake, they were talking about him being a rebel spy or something like that."

i thought to myself that's pretty strange "well then what happened?" I asked

then out of nowhere pinkie broke down in tears this time was worse, she fell to the floor and cried. i laid next to her and put my hoof around her and held her close

"its ok pinkie I'm here for you, just let it all out and finish telling me when your ready, ok?" i said in a slightly emotional tone

. she nodded her head in agreement. I didn't like seeing people cry especially my best friends, so when pinkie was crying i wasn't far from starting to cry. After about seven minutes of crying she sat up and said that she was ready to finish her story.

"then the guards forced Mr and Mrs.Cake to the front of the building then i ran out of the building, but as I was running here i seen Celestia fly down from canterlot." pinkie said sobbing

"Ok then what happen then?" i asked

"I couldn't hear what she said but the guards lit torches and caught the bakery on fire, then Celestia said something and then the guards took  Mr.cake to canterlot." she said continuing to sob.56

"pinkie get the others, we need to visit Celestia and find out whats happening" i said in a questionable tone.

Later that day everybody met at the train station, "everybody ready to go?" i asked

"yep." replied the group.

I walked to the ticket booth and purchased 6 tickets to canterlot. about an hour later we arrived at canterlot station and walked the streets. but their was a problem their was nopony in sight on any streets, and we seen people looking out their windows in fear. "what the hay is goin on here" applejack said, a few moments later royal guards came around the corner shouting at us "HALT, DON'T MOVE!" one guard shouted.
