Mess With The Vigilante?
Previous ChapterFOLLOWING PATH
During while they were walking in the path, Shining Armor wanted his guards to cuff Aiden. Aiden didn't like the sound of it, and smacked one in the face with his baton. The guard stepped back, putting his hoof on the spot on the face that got hit. It left a red mark.
"Don't.." Thats all Aiden said, and they never bothered him again during the walk. At times Spike would look at Aiden in a worried expression. Spike actually did like Aiden as a friend. He was different, and mysterious. You never would really know his weak points, because he never showed his feelings towards anything but his niece.
ARRIVING THRONE ROOM
They made it to the castle about ten, twenty minutes ago. They took the rest of the time walking through the giant castle looking for the Throne room. They finally found it. Aiden noticed new markings on the doors. Sort of like a skull, distorted, and grey. It looked familiar, but he couldn't match it with anything in his mind. Maybe later he would realize of what it was. The guards stopped at both sides of the door.
"Enter the room, and listen to what the Princess tells you to do." Aiden did as he was told. He opened the door, and the room was bright. Brighter than outside. It seemed as if it was recently cleaned. There were also two guards on each sides of the door inside the room as well. He looked at them with an angry look. They didn't do anything, but stare in one direction. Celestia cleared her throat to get his attention.
"Aiden. We have been informed that you have caused some.. Disruption, in ponyville. Is that correct?"
"In a way, yes, I guess I did."
"Well, you have to know that we do not tolerate that. Any acts of crimes in Ponyville or in any area, will be punished with being thrown in the dungeon. Do you see where I am going with this..?" Aiden grinned.
"Yes. I guess I do."
"Since you have recently hurt an innocent bystander, you will see to about, a month in the dungeon." Aiden looked up. Just for fighting? A month?! Apparently crimes like this were rare. He could only wonder if he killed the Stallion. Then something popped in his head. Since these occurrences were so rare, then they don't have any kind of police, security, or anything like that unless you have guards protecting a certain area. That means if someone were to kill another pony, they wouldn't ever get caught.
"Guards. Cuff him." The two guards near the door stepped up with cuffs. They started to walk towards him.
"But Princess! H-" Twilight was cut off.
"Ssshhh. You have no say in this. I will not have anyone hurt any of my subjects." The guards were right beside him, holding cuffs in their magic.
"Let me tell you one thing. You don't, EVER, Mess with the vigilante.."
"What?" Celestia was confused. Aiden then quickly sprinted backwards and pulled out his S.O.1911, and his phone. He started running down one of the halls. Guards from all over started to run after him. He took a sharp left and almost ran into one of the guards. Instead, he slid under him, and knocked out his legs with his baton, and began running again. He saw a big door, and slammed into it. He closed it. He saw a board next to a wall, and slid it through the door handles. The room looked like it was being redone, but only the wall. The whole room was painted dark blue, with stars. On the ceiling, was a big moon.
"Who thy' shall enter my room without permission!?" He heard coming from another room, connected to the room he was inside. At first he thought it was a bathroom, but he got a glimpse inside it, it more looked like a spa. A Personal spa room. A blue mare, with air flowing hair stepped out. It was the one from before, after the incident with the foals. She froze in position. Her body glistened from the water, since she just got out of the Spa, and was going to get a towel. Aiden froze as well, in place, holding out his phone and gun. This was awkward not only for him, but her as well. Then her face was confused.
"Wait, you're that person that hurt that innocent bystander, are you not?"
"Technically, I had a reason. But if you want to call me guilty, go ahead."
"Hmm. What was the reason may I ask?"
"Well. Mind if I sit first?"
"Oh, yes. Sit down on the bed, there's nothing else to sit on besides that. The room is being redone."
"I can see that." Aiden sat down on the soft bed. It was softer than Aiden thought, and it was comfortable in a way that he couldn't describe.
"Well. Lets see. This is what happened. A man sent a hit man, if you could actually call it that, to come kill me. I was driving my car, when my niece was in there with me. She was about five years old. The man who was sent to kill me, shot out one of my tires, and caused me to crash. Killing my niece in the process." Luna's face was a bit sad, and happy. As if she was sad for what he went through, and happy, to try to cheer him up.
"That's basically what happened."
"What does that have to do with hurting an innocent person..?"
"Well, he was drunk. And I took what he said in the wrong way. I went for a walk, and he confronted me. He was referring to my sad look when he said 'Woah, who died?'..."
"Oh. I could see how you could miss interperate that."
"But your, sister, sent guards after me. They were going to throw me in the dungeon for a month. So I ran. Hoping that I could go somewhere I could hide, or something, I went into this room. And, that's how I got here."
"Wait, my sister, tried to put you in the dungeon without letting you say your piece?!"
"Pretty much." Luna's voice became louder, louder, louder, and louder.
"NO ONE DARES TO TESTIFY A SUBJECT WITHOUT LETTING THEM SPEAK THEIR SIDE!" Aiden covered his ears. "O-Oh, i'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you. I just sometimes forget not to use the royal canterlot voice.." Aiden stopped covering his ears.
"I just don't even remember how I got into this mess. I just wake up, and i'm here. I never wanted to be here in the first place. And I think it was a bad move to run from the guards. Now I just made them even more angry, probably causing a bigger problem in the castle."
"That you did, but you are able to stay here for the time being!"
"Really?"
"Why not?" Luna smiled. "Besides, it's nice to have company once in awhile."
"But what about the guards?"
"They wont be able to get in. I can put a spell on the door's, that not even my sister can break."
"Hmm. Convenient. And this is why you don't mess with the vigilante."
"Who?" Luna asked him.
"O-Oh, nothing."
Author's Note
This isn't really the best chapter yet, and I rushed it A LOT. I RUSHED IT SO MUCH. SO. MUCH. But I wanted to get it all down, and i'll edit it later. Right now, I got a headache from all the hauling, and almost passed out when I wrote this. Well. I was listening to a bunch of songs, I don't even know which ones. Sorry! Next chapter I'll tell you which songs I was listening to!
