Rarity skipped around the room in the morning. She prepared her breakfast toast with butter and tea for herself got some paper and started writing ideas. It was going to be a brilliant day!
There was a knock at the door, and Rarity let a tired Applejack in through the doors. The farm mare yawned.
''Why did ya call me here so early in the mornin?'' Applejack asked through a hint of annoyance coming across.
''Well its for a good reason.'' Rarity said hardly holding her energy. ''I had a dream that is telling me the future!''
''Uh, a dream?'' Applejack said unamused.
''Certainly, and it is telling me a message!" Rarity said gasping as she was telling the story very much with drama. ''It was telling me to ship our friends!''
Applejack raised her eyebrow. ''As in go in a boat?''
Rarity rolled her eyes. ''Are you telling me that you have no idea whatsoever what shippings are?''
Applejack shook her head, and Rarity had a smile on her face. ''Shipping means a romantic couple, Applejack, were going to set our friends up!''
Applejack's eyes widened at the thought of it, and stared at Rarity as if she was crazy, she wasn't sure if her friend was going nuts or was drunk.
''Are you crazy!?'' Applejack yelled. ''Are ya sayin that we should set our friends up! We don't even know if they're lesbian, and-and they might love some other mare if they are lesbian and-how much beer did you drink?'''
''None.'' Rarity said her eyes widening. ''Obviously the dream was telling me something that I had to do, we shouldn't defy love! Besides we know Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy are in love!''
Applejack sighed and backed away slowly. ''Ah really don't think ya should do this...''
''Well were going to do it!'' Rarity said.
''Ah..'' Applejack said her mouth gaping. ''Ah don't really wanna have anythin to do with this..''
''Look Applejack..'' Rarity began and then she smiled and flashed her eyes. ''This is for our friend's sake, and besides we both know that Rainbow and Fluttershy told us that they had a crush on each other. Were helping them set up!''
''Ummm, well, Ah don't think we should um, help them out..''' Applejack said slowly trying to figure a way to get out of the nonsense she was getting herself into.
''Good! We better get started!!''
''Umm, who the hay created shipping anyway?'' Applejack asked.
''I have no idea, the dream didn't say who..'' Rarity said as she trotted along the grass.
This was the same place where Big Mac and Cherilee drunk their poisonous punch, and this would soon be the place Fluttershy and Rainbow would ''fall'' in love as Rarity had put it.
Applejack felt like this was for nothing, not expecting the idea to work at all, it was preposterous, how could this dream tell anything? And she baked an apple crumble and apple pie for dessert for the two, as Rarity fixed them a meal, she put the meal down, and then waited for there arrival. There was a table a little further from them with some food but Applejack figured some other weird couple was dining there.
''Ah feel so immature doin this..'' Applejack said.
''Hide in the bushes, I set up some lovely music and hearts around the table!'' Rarity said pulling her friend into the bushes as they heard the trotting of the two mares.
The two mares stopped and approached themselves.
''Rarity said we would meet here..'' Rainbow Dash said. ''I guess she's late..''
''I guess so..'' Fluttershy said softly as she looked at the punch and food.
Rarity managed to hold her giggles as she felt her plan was working. Applejack was curious how this was going to work out, and when Rarity would become sober.
''How's the day been going?'' Rainbow Dash asked.
''Good.'' Fluttershy said. ''Yours?''
''Pretty awesome.'' Rainbow Dash said.
The two looked at each other with love in their eyes, they were both blushing, and staring, their eyes soon became locked with one and other, Rarity knew it, they knew it, the time was right.
Rainbow Dash bended over keeping her eyes locked with Fluttershy, she began to almost wrap her hooves around but held control.
''Fluttershy..?'' Rainbow Dash asked.
''What?'' Fluttershy said softly.
''I need to tell you something..'' Rainbow Dash said. ''It's rather embarrassing..''
''You can tell me anything..'' Fluttershy said.
Rainbow Dash with red cheeks, and a little smile, gulped, as she looked very nervous, took a deep breath. ''Are you going to eat that?''
Rarity almost screamed, but Applejack pressed her hooves on Rarity's tightly.
''It looks like Rarity's not coming.'' Fluttershy said. ''You can take mine.''
''Oh good, thanks!'' Rainbow Dash said putting Fluttershy's food onto her own plate. ''I guess we should go home since Rarity seems like she's not coming. I'm going to go eat dinner.''
''Yeah, I need to feed Angel anyways, well see you tomorrow.'' Fluttershy said.
''You too.'' Rainbow replied.
The two left and departed.
Rarity jumped out of the bush, stomped her hooves and ground her teeth together. ''Why didn't she ask her out!!!!??'''
''Ummm, Ah need to see Apple Bloom..'' Applejack said nervous about Rarity's anger and quickly departed.
Applejack battles love birds..
Applejack woke up in her bed as she heard the phone ring. It was 12 o clock in the night. She was having quite a nice dream, and it was too bad that it had to be ruined by the phone call.
Applejack got up and out of her bed sheets. She hoped that her family had not been awakened. She hurried down the stairs, and grabbed the phone. Who the hay would be calling at this late hour?
''Hello?'' Applejack said.
''Well hello Applejack it's Rarity..'' Rarity's voice said.
''Why in tarnation are you calling at midnight!!?'' Applejack almost screamed at the phone.
''It's kind of an emergency.'' Rarity said. ''Well I apologize for the hectic evening of all that setting up..''
Applejack felt relieved finally Rarity was quitting her silly shipping thing. ''Ah'm glad Rarity, we all have a little craziness in us, and Ah think it's good that your maturin and..''
''Absolutely!'' Rarity said. ''We set the whole thing wrong! It should never have been like a date! We should have a dance where they will have the perfect environment to ask one another out! I thought I found the two perfect couple to set up and make fall in love!''
Oh no. Applejack thought.
''You know Lyra Heartstrings and Bon Bon right?'' Rarity asked.
''Y-yeah.'' Applejack said.
''Well I decided to set them up at the ball at the mayor's place and well..'' Rarity said her voice cracked a little and nervous. ''I think you should come with Winona and a lasso..''
''What the hay happened. *yawn* Ah'll be over at the mayor's place..'' Applejack said in frustration as she hung up.
She wrote a note and pasted it on her bedroom door in case her family wondered where she was, she went outside and called Winona out of her doghouse and they headed to the mayor's place.
It was nearly impossible. A thousand flock of doves surrounded the entire place, they flew and pecked around, they were trying to eat the dancer's little biscuits and little cupcakes. They were swarming the entire place. Applejack bit at her lasso, what did Rarity do?
There was Rarity trying to shoo them away one by one, but failing tremendously doing so, she was wearing a very nice light blue outfit, and Applejack had to admit that she looked quite pretty in it.
She ran down the hill with Winona and then threw her lasso in the air, scaring the doves, and makes them have no choice but to fly away, and Winona barked loud enough that the doves would soon be flying out of the place.
The ponies cheered all except Lyra Heartstrings glaring at Rarity. ''Look fashionista, I'm already married to Bon Bon, stop setting us up, you creep!''
She walked away in disgust.
Rarity sighed and turned to leave. But Applejack stopped her.
''I-I'm sorry Applejack I just trying to d-do the right thing..'' Rarity said softly. ''I just thought doves would fit the moment perfectly..''
''Well it was a pretty darn crazy idea.'' Applejack said. ''Those doves could have killed someone they were so big and large in numbers, it was not only crazy, but a heck of a crazy thing to do.''
Rarity lowered her head a few teardrops were coming down. And that made Applejack's heart melt a little.
''But aren't we all a little bit crazy?'' Applejack said raising Rarity's head with her hoof and wiped the tears. ''C'mon, Ah'll walk ya home.''
The stars filled the night, the constellations could be seen, the world felt quiet and very silent for a little while, the world felt peaceful, and Applejack glanced at Rarity who was walking in total silence. Was this the moment? Applejack felt the need to say the words, which were not are you going to eat that? by the way. They were silent until they arrived at the carousel boutique.
''You were truly a hero..'' Rarity said.
''Saving the town from thousands of love birds does not seem too heroic to me..'' Applejack said with a chuckle.
Rarity had a small laugh, it was a very pretty laugh in a way. ''You were a true hero though. And a true hero deserves a wonderful loved one.''
Applejack slightly blushed and Rarity giggled.
''Though I have to say, I'm truly sorry..'' Rarity said with a sigh.
''Why do ya say that?'' Applejack asked.
''I was so immature, and I believed my dream was right when it came to this ''shipping'' thing, I'm sorry I was a total nut..'' Rarity said seeming ashamed.
''As Ah said, we all have a little nutso in us.'' Applejack said.
''Y'know I did forget one pairing that would make a nice ship..'' Rarity said with a nervous look on her face.
Oh no. Applejack thought at first what now?
''You and I.'' Rarity said.
Applejack looked at Rarity. Rarity looked at Applejack. Rarity was a beautiful mare, sometimes kind of crazy, and kind of nutso when it came to shipping, but Applejack felt she loved her.
''That's the best shipping you thought of yet..'' Applejack said softly.
''I was hoping you'd think so.'' Rarity said her face going pink.
''Dinner tomorrow?'' Applejack asked.
''Sure thing. Sweet dreams, AJ.'' Rarity said as she entered the house and started to close the door.
Applejack looked at Rarity's beauty. ''I sure will have sweet dreams.''

This has been my first attempt at comedy.
I really love the Rarijack pairing and it works well with comedy.
I have not gotten this edited. Sorry. I just had to post this. If my editor has the time he'll go through this one day.
