I groaned as I rolled over on my bed. It's very disappointing that our summer break has been cut short, now it's August, the first day of my junior year in high school. I picked my phone up from the nightstand, the time on the screen was 6:30, that means I'm going to be late.
"Great, just what I needed!" I grumbled to myself, moving my long bangs away from my eyes and getting up from bed to get ready for school.
I made my way towards the bathroom, my hooves thumping as I went and - wait... I took a few cautious steps forward and looked down.
"WHOA!" I cried out in surprise, my back slamming against the wall as I slid to the ground.
I have hooves! could that mean... I slowly got up on my new legs and carefully made my way towards the bathroom.
Entering the bathroom and turning on the light, I gazed into the mirror and my mind was blown! I have been turned into my OC, Steven! Could this be a dream? This is too good to be true!
I looked at my hands, there's still five of them that's a relief. I have hooves instead of my feet, and I think I'm now seven feet tall instead of five feet.
I then looked at my face in the mirror.
I have a long black mane with brown tints at the front and back, a white diamond on my forehead, and my eyes are orange. I blinked at my reflection, now here's the weird part. I opened my mouth and surprise! I'm still an omnivore!
"This is so cool!" I said happily to myself as I examined my equine ears, I made them twitch and laughed at my reflection. I'm so excited, I can't wait to show my mom and dad!
Just then, I thought about my parents. What will they think or say about me? What if they react in a different way? No, I always prepare before something like this happens.
I quietly went into my parent's room to check on them. Luckily my cry of surprise didn't wake them up, that's good - wait a minute, why are there small lumps on the bed? Unless...
I slowly approached the bed and threw the covers off of my parents. I managed to choke back my gasp of horror as I recoiled in surprise.
I stared in shock at what I saw before me... my parents... they are ponies!
"No... this can't be happening. This has to be a dream!" I said to myself, my hands gripping my head while my parents slept peacefully, oblivious to what happened to them.
I immediately exited the house, running outside as I looked around, seeing my neighbors already out and about as if nothing is happening.
They are all ponies...
A peach brown mare waved at me from across the street, giggling as she gave me a wink and shook her juicy rump at me before strutting away. I scrunched my face up in disgust.
"Hmph, that's typical." I muttered to myself as I sat on my car. I'll just have to wait until everyone wakes up and comes to their senses, wonder what will happen after that.
To pass the time, I wagged my equine tail around. While I did that, I took a selfie with my phone, I didn't realize I was still holding it in my hands the whole time.
The moment I touched the button...
"What the hell?!"
"Holy shit!"
"Where are my hands?!"
"Oh, mierda!"
*click*
I looked at my picture in disappointment. I'm going to delete it and forget I took a selfie.
"Oh boy, this is going to be a very long day today." I muttered, facepalming as I heard multiple screams and curses from my neighbors before jumping off of the car and going back inside the house.
1 Hour Later...
After explaining to my parents what happened, they took it well and were okay with being ponies. After that my parents went about their business, while I sat in front of the radio in my room, tuning in to Power 99. There was nothing interesting yet, just music playing.
After waiting for a while, I soon heard DJ Bones talking on the radio.
"Okay, topic for today. We all have been turned... into ponies." Bones said, a hint of amusement in his voice. "And for those of you that just woke up, please... DO. NOT. PANIC."
"Too late for that." I said with a chuckle.
I listened to a few interesting stuff before walking out of my room, not interested in the music playing. Looks like there's no school for today... or is there?
"Everyone must report to the Garapan Square immediately, it's very important." I heard DJ Bones announced, interrupting the music that was playing.
"Damn it!" I cried, stomping my hoof on the ground as I clutched my phone and earphones. I was going to listen to music and sleep! Oh well, wonder what's gonna happen downtown.
5 Minutes Later...
I brought my parents with me to the Garapan Square, as DJ Bones had instructed in the radio. I just brought along my bag and my phone, so I can listen to music and stuff.
The crowd of angry and confused ponies was amusing enough, next thing I want to see is a couple of ponies wearing grass skirts dancing to Hawaiian songs.
I was so disappointed when I didn't see anybody bipedal like me. However, I caught lots of unwanted attention when me and my parents arrived in the square.
I suddenly felt someone slap my ass as I looked over my shoulder, a blue stallion gave me a perverted smirk. I gave the stallion a death glare as he and his group smiled back at me. Hmph, I'll deal with them later. I gave the stallion the finger and laughed when he realized he had no hands to retaliate as he glared at me.
I snickered when I recognized one certain pony in the crowd. It was Jelson! The poor guy looked like he was experiencing a nightmare.
If I remembered correctly, I told him a few months ago before summer started that we will become ponies one day, except me of course. He laughed at me and said that it was never happening and I was stupid, but it turns out I was correct. Or was it just a coincidence?
When he saw me, I stuck my tongue out, wiggling my fingers beside my head as I teased him. Jelson frowned before looking away.
I sat down on the ground next to my parents and took out my phone. While I tried to adjust my earphones and turned on the music, I cursed as I quickly threw off my earphones.
"Ouch..." I moaned as I rubbed my ears, they were so sensitive.
The crowd soon became quiet when a brown middle aged earth pony stallion approached the makeshift stage and began tapping on the microphone lying on the ground. Huh, it looks like nobody has learned to grip stuff yet.
"Ahem... Hafa Adai, everybody. This is your governor speaking. We have a very serious problem and we need to fix it, we are now ponies, small horses, and this is a very big problem." the governor said, my ears twitched at his chamorro accent.
I was barely paying attention as I began tapping away at my phone, reading the latest stories on fimfiction, while listening to Andrew WK and Goldfinger. The song was somehow similar to my situation.
After a few hours of listening to music, I felt my parents nudging me. As I looked at them in confusion, they pointed to the stage in the middle of the square as the brown stallion was pointing a hoof at me.
"You over there, the one with the phone." I looked in confusion as my equine ears twitched. Was the governor calling me? I felt my mom and dad nudging me forward as I looked at them nervously, the entire crowd of ponies were looking at ME.
Taking off my earphones, I adjusted them over my ears as I tucked my phone into my bag.
I felt the eyes of the crowd burning at the back of my head as I made my way forward the stage.
"Hafa, what's up, Mr. Governor?" I asked a hint of nervousness in my voice. I don't even know the governor's name at all. The governor looked up at me before speaking in chamorro to his advisors, I think. I only know some words to ask for the restroom and saying hello.
"You are still bipedal, how is that?" the governor asked, gesturing to the mic on the ground.
I picked it up and stood up... oh crap. I'm experiencing stage fright again, as a HUGE crowd of ponies watched me expectedly.
I resisted the urge to shout "I have ebola and I caused this, you're all screwed!" instead I spoke in a calm voice, don't want a riot to break out, right?
"You all have been turned into ponies by some unknown force. You are all going to remain this way unless there's a way to change back or not." I said, trying to explain as best as I could.
I began to feel tension in the air as the ponies began to panic and argue. I started to get annoyed as the crowd of ponies started blaming me for some reason, while my parents looked at me in worry.
I finally snapped as one stallion hurled a rock at me as I dodged it, how he did that was beyond my understanding. I remembered how everyone treated and disrespected me, then I began to feel a powerful surge of power course through my body as I glared angrily at the crowd of ponies.
"SHUT UP!" I yelled, there was suddenly a loud THOOM as lightning struck the ground around the stage, the crowd recoiled in fear and remained deathly silent.
Holy crap... I have my OC's powers too! I felt bad as my parents and everyone recovered from the blast.
The governor had thrown himself to the ground on instinct, him and his advisors trembled in fear as I stood nervously on the stage. Clearing my throat, I slowly raised my hands as the crowd inched back in fear.
"Hey listen, I'm sorry I snapped okay? Right now, we NEED to get through with this." I said as softly as I can. "I mean, what happens if the UN or another country tries to capture us?"
The crowd of ponies began to chatter amongst themselves as I stood silently on the stage. I soon felt a tug on my tail and looked down at the governor as he looked up at me.
"What is your name?" he asked.
"Steven." I said, wondering what he's getting at. The governor nodded before asking me about some things like my hobbies, grades in school, experience and other stuff.
"Since I am a pony and you are still... humanoid, will you lead us?" the governor asked me as I tilted my head in confusion. "You know what is going on here, can you help us?" the governor asked.
"Um... I think I can manage, we'll have to work on some things first." I said, rubbing the back of my head nervously as I looked around at the mass of ponies gathered in the square.
The governor nodded before craning his head down to the microphone on the ground. How rude of me, I forgot to readjust it for him.
"Hey, everyone. This boy will lead us from the get-go. He knows what he's doing, so we can all trust him, yes?" the governor announced to the crowd.
The ponies began whispering to each other and looked at me as I felt shyness come over me again. I didn't notice my hands clasped together like I always do whenever I'm nervous. My parents gave me an assuring smile, melting my fears and doubts as I smiled back.
After a few moments of silence, the crowd began to cheer.
Two Weeks Later...
Ever since I took control of Saipan, I helped ponies who were in need with my psionic abilities. I gained their trust, resulting in me being called "chief" or "captain" as I made sure everypony has a great time adjusting to their new lives.
I now sat on a pedestal in my throne, being nuzzled and cuddled by my harem of mares. I still didn't have a choice when I was forced to have a harem of my own, funny stuff happened after that. No sex, just nuzzling and cuddling, and I'm keeping it like that until I'm ready.
I continued petting the mares down while I thought to myself. I began to wonder and worry about the outcome of what happens next. I'm the only anthromorph pony in this island and everybody else is a pony. It's like those human turns into a pony stories on fimfiction. I wonder if other countries are affected as well, or just the Marianas if I'm correct?
The weird thing is... where did the ships around Saipan go, and the tourists? I never heard or seen any sign of humans, aircraft or ships. It's like they just packed up and left, but it's good to see that the ponies, MY little ponies are all safe. Wait, where did that just come from?
Wait... if everyone in Saipan has been turned into ponies, then... oh no...
I have a very bad feeling about this...
And suddenly, it hit me as I realized the situation that I'm now in.
"I forgot to wear pants!"
