The ponies were raving as she stepped off the turntable to pass it onto the next pony who would take her place. As she cleaned herself up in her change room, she was greeted to a few knocks on the door from many fans that came specifically Vanhoover for her performance. "Vinyl! Can you sign our flanks?" the crazed fans demanded. She calmly put on her one-of-a-kind purple shades and walked out the back door. She returned to her hotel and sighed loudly. She threw her bags on the floor, got herself a beer and turned on the T.V. She laid back on her hoof made bed and opened her beer with a satisfying "Kshhhh!" As she flicked through the channels blindly something came across as interesting. It was a news channel that was showcasing the cello players that had made it past the auditions for the Manehatten Orchestra. One or two she didn't know but one pony in specific made her jump up and spill her beer all over the bed. She didn't realise that he friend was that good of a cello player. But her roommate Octavia had made it through! Vinyl made a mental note to call Tavi later and congratulate her, but she was going to need some new bedsheets first. As the maid was smoothing out the sheets, her cell phone in her bag buzzed. It was a text from Tavi telling her to arrive safely as she had a party planned for her tryout. She typed in response "Sure Tavi, will come home soon. Congrats!" The next day she hopped on the train for home in Ponyville and was staring at the window at the wonderful scenery of Vanhoover, when a pony tapped her flank. "um.. excuse me. are you Vinyl Scratch?" "Well duh, who else would i be?" she hastily replied. "well, um my friend over there wants a-a picture signed by you, is that ok-k?" she replied nervously. She briefly points to a fragile mare that waves and gives a half fake smile. "Depends." replies Vinyl, "Whats in it for me?  "I'll pay you two- two bits." replies the shy pony. "Kidding!" replies Vinyl as the mare gives a sigh or relief. the fragile mare walks over with a picture of her star, Vinyl, and gives it to her. Grasping the felt in her mouth she writes her large signature over the page. She replies with a simple "Thank you" and walks away. As the train stopts
