My predator continued to make its self known as I continue to run for my life. My muscle screaming for me to stop and give up but my will mixed with adrenaline kept me going. The moonlight being my only guide through this forest as the sounds footsteps echo through out.

Another arrow shot past me and struck itself on a nearby tree. This lead to me to believe that my hunter was human. If only I had some mean of defending myself yet I awoke here with only my clothing.

My train of thought is cut off as I lost my footing leading me to slam my face against a tree. I tried to get up and continue running but found myself stuck. Looking back I see a rope draped around my right leg. That must of been the cause of my fall. So does this mean my hunter wanted me to go here?

A warm sensation trailed against my face as the pain of the impact starts to kick in. A touch of the face allowed me to see blood had placed itself against my face.

A clear of the throat made me spin to look at the source. The impact must of effected my brain as what I saw must of been an illusion.

A Gryphon smiling at me with it's spear pointed down at me. "Well what do we have here?" Was all I heard before receiving a hit to the face. Causing me to black out.

It has been three months since that encounter. I have been locked away in a cage as the monster they see me as. Ready to be sold on the black market. Somehow no one has bought me because from what I presume I am the only human here.

I have learned over time I'm no longer in a place I called home. Instead I was in a place of fairy tale. Only I wasn't in the spot light of the book. Instead I am currently in the shadows.

"And hows my monkey today?" A female Gryphon spoke as she approached my cell. Her feather a Sepia brown with yellow claws. That could do much damage to me. She was the one that captured me and brought me here. Just as luck would have it she was also the leader of this black market.

"Wonderful." I manage to reply with my dry tone. As she giggled at my remark I couldn't help smile at her nature. At least she makes my life a bit more enjoyable.

"I just stopped by to tell you we have an important visitor coming today. Who knows maybe he buy you? Hopefully not so I don't lose my monkey buddy!" She cries out as she turns around and walks away.

A important visitor? I wonder who it could be?

The feint sounds off steps coming towards my direction snapped me out of my imagination. The Gryphon from before  was leading an pony that seemed to be a stallion. A white coat with a yellowish mane. A tattoo was on his flank but that need not catch my interest.

"How are the guards prince?" The Gryphon asked the one who I presume was the prince.

"Terrible! Those brutes have no manners and are not up to their title!" The prince shot back. His tone was all I need to understand the type of prince he was. They stopped in front of my cage. "Egh! What is....this?" He waved his hoof at me.

The Gryphon smiled with glee. "This is my prized animal! An Sentient being! One of a kind that I selling for a high price but since your a prince I can give u a discount." The thought of being sold at an high price improved my mood a little.

"Why would I want this thing?" He proceeded to walk off while the Gryphon gave me a sly smile.

The thought of being stuck here for much longer didn't seemed to agree with my brain. "Wait!" I cried out as I rush to the bars of my cell. "Wait!" The pony kept on walking. "I-I can be of use to you!" He stopped and turned to look at me.

"This is a waste of my precious time but tell me how you are of use to me." His tone snapped with venom.

"I overheard your conversation! I can become your guard."

"But why should I hire you?" He snapped back.

"Why wouldn't you? I'm strong, I can handle myself in a fight, I was once a guard and most of all I have manners...your highness!" I could see the thought was on his mind. "Plus wouldn't I scare off those who wish to harm you?"

I noticed that the Gryphon smile dropped as she saw where this was going. "Fine..." He began. "I give you a chance. Consider yourself lucky." He spoke as he approached my cage. "And if you fail your job...at least I have a rare trophy."

The thought of being stuck in a display cabinet made me relies the risk of my proposal.

They then started to whisper to each other a few distance away from my cell. I notice the prince roll his eyes and hand over a bag. From where he pulled it from was a mystery. As he walked away the Gryphon turned to me. "Time to wrap you up."

I couldn't help but feel like an animal as a shock collar was slipped onto me. "This will keep him under control." She began. "Just think of electricity and it shall do it's job." She looked at me with a lustful look. "And if he's bad then bring him back to me..."

Hairs on the end of my neck stood tall like a marching parade that was about to begin. I was lead away by the prince as she waved goodbye to me...and blew a kiss. I'm glad I'm escaping today.

The prince lead me to a chariot which was surrounded by guards. For some reason time seemed to slow down as I looked on forwards. I notice what seemed to be a spear of ice heading towards me. I raised my hands to shield my face and waited for the impact.

Yet it never came. Time seemed to speed back up as I opened my eyes. Nothing...I was completely fine.

"Silver wing!" The prince shouted. "How dare you!"

"B-but sir!" He was silence from the prince death stare. On further analysis he seemed to be a stallion with silver fur and a blue, short, spiky hair.

The prince continued inside while a unicorn guard followed. I proceeded inside and sat opposite the prince as the chariot started to move. "Now that was interesting...Star Shine. If you would please levitate his arm."

The unicorn nods and his horn glows blue. After a while nothing happened. "I-I can't." He mumbled as sweat started to show.

"Interesting..." The prince looked me up and down. "I wonder..."

The look on the prince face made me think that staying in that cell was not a bad idea.

Well...when leaving hell...you have to cross Cerberus...and this prince is that dog.
