Tristan was running trying to find something to cover his head with, the rain was pelting his face, hard.
"God damnit" Tristan said as he looked for his house, the rain was so hard he couldn't see two feet in front of him, soon after like ten minutes of running he found a tree, a big one.
"It will do, until this rain dies down...hopefully" he ran under the tree which was holding the rain, he took off his jacket and laid it down on the ground and sat down on it.
"Ugh, why didn't I watch the news?" Tristan asked the air, he ran a hand through his long brown hair, he looked in the sky lightning burst into life every once and awhile, thunder and the soothing sound of rain. Tristan closed his eyes and listened, suddenly.
*BOOM*
his eyes shot open enough to catch a glimpse of a dark blue lightning bolt strike the ground six feet away from him, he heard a soft groan he got up and walked over to the noise, the rain stung his arms but what he saw made him forget all pain, in the crater was a pony of some sorts but it had a horn on its head and wings he couldn't really see anything else. its eyes slowly opened, it looked hurt it tried to stand up but fell back down. it looked up to Tristan and spoke in a female voice signaling that it was a she.
"Help...me" before she fell on the ground
"Did that really just happen" Tristan asked himself "No time to ask yourself questions, just help her" Tristan being a sucker for hurt animals, hopped in the small crater, he picked the "pony" up and crawled out the crater. While he was walking to his house he noticed the rain had died down a lot but, the thunder and lightning had not, but that's not the only thing he noticed, he noticed this pony's mane, it was a midnight blue with the tiniest spots of white in it, also it seemed to flow in the wind. His eyes fell on her rump...
"What the fuck...is that a tattoo?" He stopped asking himself questions and continued walking, minutes later he found his house, he unlocked the door and walked inside. He kicked the door shut, walking over to his couch he laid her down on it. Tristan looked at her chest...it was moving up and down slightly, Tristan was happy that she wasn't dead.
He went to his room and grabbed some covers, walked back in the living room and covered her up, he smiled a little, he pulled up a chair and sat in front of the window, watching the light rain and lightning. thirty minutes into watching the sky Tristan heard movement behind him, he turned around to find the pony waking up. Her eyes fluttered open, she looked around.
"Huh, where am I?" the midnight blue pony asked her eyes fell upon Tristan "What are you?"
"I could say the same for you, but if your wondering where you are, your on a planet called earth"
"Earth?"
"Yes the big green plant, as for what I am, I'm a human, now enough about me what about you?'
"Well...I'm a alicorn princess from my world equestria, I rise and set the moon."
"Uh huh" Tristan was taking all of this in then a question popped up in his head "How did you get here your highness?"
"Please just call me Luna, I don't know how I got here, but I have a feeling I wont be leaving for a while" Luna answered
"Nice to meet you Luna my name is Tristan, You could stay with me until whoever comes to pick you up" Tristan said as he shrugged his shoulders
"Really you'd do that for me" Tristan nodded, for the a few hours they spent talking about their worlds. Tristan learned that the tattoo on her flank was a cutie mark, he also learned that Luna had a sister named Celestia that rises and sets the sun, matter of fact they stayed up all night talking, Luna talked about her adventures.
Tristan told her little about his world leaving out the violence and all that mean stuff. everything Luna said Tristan would make a joke about it, but she would never get it so he has to explain it which doesn't make it funny anymore.
"Wait a second" Tristan thought, everything clicked in his mind, first of all there is an alicorn princess in his house, secondly she came from a lightning bolt so how the hell did he not burn his arms picking her up, and lastly why was he so calm with this.
"Are you ok?" Luna asked with a hint of concern in her voice
"I'm just trying to piece everything together that just happened"
"Well I would say you just made a new friend" Luna smiled
"Really? are you sure" Tristan asked
"I'm very sure"
"All right, Friend haven't had one of those for a long time"
"Why is that?" Luna asked
"Well they couldn't handle my logic and couldn't handle my reality" Tristan sighed
"I don't understand, what do you mean "they couldn't handle your reality" Luna tilted her head in confusion
"Cute" Tristan thought "What I mean by that is...well I really don't know what I mean" he sighed again
Tristan looked at the ground for a second before yawning causing Luna to chuckle.
"I think you should get to bed, if its alright with you I'll stay on the couch" Luna said
"Alright" Tristan got out of the chair and began walking to his room. "Goodnight Luna"
"Goodnight, Tristan" Luna closed her eyes and drifted into dream land
