Prologue: In The Beginning
In the beginning, there was peace between most species in Equestria - the Griffons, the Ponies, Zebras, and the Dragons most notably. The Ponies' and the Dragons' relations, however, were frayed and pulled taut after the incident of the Bearers of Loyalty and the Dragon Aeron. The Dragons were becoming increasingly agitated at Pony society's ignorance of the events. This blossomed from hate rallies into public brawls. It even got to the point that Ponies were banned from stepping hoof in any Dragon territory and Dragons were called upon to return to their homeland or be deemed a rogue. At this point, you'd be hard-pressed to find a Pony who didn't think war was imminent.
We will be following the hoofsteps of four ponies and a rogue dragon. What their adventures meant to the Ponies is known by most today, but what happened on their journey is known only to a few.
