After the Gleam Prison break incident, the princesses have no choice but to take extra safety precautions. One of which is taking precautionary measures to protect themselves.

With Celestia having the Royal Guards at her disposal, Luna having her Soldiers of the Night and Cadence, the Crystal Guards, there is only Twilight’s guards left to be up and running.

In haste, the princesses commence the Afterglow Guard project having Twilight confused and unsure during the occurrence.
