Just another day in Equestria
It was a warm saturday morning that July day. George was getting ready to go to his parents for his 21 birthday; a tradition he had kept up seince he turned 19. Little did he know that was the last day of his normal life. On his way to his parents house he found a bottle that had never been opened, so he casually picked it up, thinking "Oh, I'll drink it later" as the seal was still unbroken. And that is just what he did; drink it. "Ugh, gross" he said right after he drank it.
Little did he know that was not a normal water bottle; it was a potion. This potion made him involerable to all pain and even death. He watched all his friends die around him. His family, friends, everyone he cared about; dead. He had met, at one point, a man who went simply as "The Doctor" who had also lost all his friends, family, and all the people he cared about. But that is a story for another time, for today we talk about what happened to George and where he is now. George woke up, 25,000,000 years after he drank the potion.
"Huh, its my birthday. How quaint." he said to himself
This was another warm day, much like that Saturday long ago. "Today, I make myself known to this kind"
There was one thing that George remebered that preturbed him throughout all his years; the end of humanity. Humanity had ended on December 31, 199,999 After that, the animals took back the world. Horses running rampent through was used to be Manhatten. Dogs rolling around through the streets of what had once been New York city. Each speicies evolved to adapt according to where they lived and, over time, they adventually ran across radioactive waste. This effected few speices for unknown reasons, but one speices that it did effect was the horses. They had stunted growth, only being able to grow 3 feet, and some grew wings that were easily capable of flight, others grew horns from their heads that were capable of magic. There were few that were not effected by any imediately noticable changes, but gained imence strength, and all gained the ability of speach. This was not the part that disturbed him, though. It was how himanity had seemingly ended overnight. First, a large wave hit the shore of Austrailia, killing around 100 people. Later, a large number of people died of a disease thought to have been eraticated. That left 1,000,000 people alive, excluding George. That 1,000,000 went insane and killed eachother, the last one killing himself. George watched all of this from his humble abode. Days went by. Weeks. Months. Years. All George had was his pets, ranging from a dog to a parret to a pig. This is when he met his friend The Doctor. He brought George on quite a few adventures, but, as I said before, that is a story for another time.
George put on his suite, then his tie and finally his earing. He walked out side of his house and looked around the forest where he resided. He lived where the ponys called the everfree forest. This had once been the main street of his hometown, Lambertville. He walked around for a couple minutes before he took a deep breath of fresh air. "ah, it smells beutiful out here." he said to himslef.
"Hello? Who's there?" he heard.
"Oh no." said George.
"I heard that. Where are you?" said the voice.
"Uh... well... somewhere near you. I think I'm to the west of you." George replied.
"West... oh to my left. Oh my gosh... who are you... or rather What are you?"
"Well, my name is George Foozog. And I'm a human."
"Well hello George, my name is..."
"Twilight Sparkle, princess of friendship. I know" George interupted.
"Wh... how did you..."
"I've been watching your comunity for quite a while. And before you ask, no one knows that I exsist. Not even Celestia or Luna."
"So... you've been hiding here all along? For how long?"
"Well, I remeber when Luna was banished to the moon. I've been alive seince 1990, If that's any Idea."
"Wow that is... wait it's only 2019."
"actually, it's 25,002,011."
"How are you so sure?"
"Because I bought a calander from every year seince I turned 15. Plus I have a self charging phone that only needs sunlight to charge and it says it is currently 25,002,011, July 19, 12:58 PM."
"What's a phone?"
"Oh I forgot how primitive you guys are. A phone is something that can contact people through a satilite."
"Oh ok. Wait, what's a satilite, I mean I know the official meaning of satilite, an item that revolves around a something of larger mass. But what do you mean by satilite?"
"It's an item that revolves around this planet and sends off signals like magic. It mostly consists of metal."
"Oh ok. Well, time to go to the old castle. I left a very important book there."
"Wait, before you go, can you make me a pony? I'm sure you've learned that spell. I want to be a unicorn. I just don't want to scare anybod... er... anypony."
"Sure. Oh and I bet you're wondering why you didn't scare me. It's because I traveled through a portal and went to the human world. I guess it was more of a time machine than a portal, but never the less, I still have been in contact with humans before. I've just never seen one in my own world."
"Ok, well thank you Twilight."
"Here we go." and with those last few words, she turned George into a unicorn.
"Wow, it worked! I mean... of course it worked!" Said Twilight in excitement.
"What's that supposed to mean?" George asked accusingly.
"N... nothing. Want to go with me to the castle then back to town?"
"Sure. How long should it take?"
"About an hour. Why do you ask?"
"Just wanted to know."
"Ok, lets go."
