THE ECLIPSE
"What's that?" asked Twilight as she pointed at the sky.
"I don't know, it's kind of hard to see being so close to the sun." replied Rainbow Dash.
"Looks like a huge chandelier." Pinkie Pie said as she hopped up and down, looking very excited. "Just like what you find in a party, you know what? that reminds me that I have a par..."
"It isn't colorful, it's black" Rainbow Dash interrupted.
Some of the other ponies overheard their conversation and began looking at the dark mass in the sky, it looked the size of the sun, not much larger, but it was slowly getting larger. Soon the whole Town Square was filled with ponies looking at the object and the sound of many of them asking what it was up there.
Then it covered the sun, and it appeared three times larger than the sun at this point. The entire Town Square was thrown into darkness, only the cyan sky revealed it to be daytime. The sounds of the ponies talking was replaced by gasps, then silence.
"The sun, it's eclipsed by the thing." exclaimed Twilight.
The fear-touched ponies stared as the black object moved closer and closer, it was so big, the eclipse not only covered Ponyville, but also Canterlot. This object covered a basketball sized area in space now, and it was just too detailed to be anything small. It slowly came to a stop when half of the sky was filled.
Some fillies started to cry a little bit. Fear filled everypony that occupied Town Square. This included Twilight, Spike, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, and especially Fluttershy, who was now hiding behind a cart, whimpering behind her pink mane.
"IT'S OPENING UP!" a loud scream came from somepony. Now some of the cowardly ponies were running around screaming. The spikes on the front of the ship opened up like an umbrella. There was even flaps in between the long spikes. Soon the entire spikes were at their full angles, the black flaps now sending Ponyville into almost nighttime darkness. The sound of screaming ponies got louder and the chaos of ponies trying to get into a nearby house, hoping that they will be safe from the huge, black object.
Soon geometric lines of bluish purple light started to appear on the pitch black flaps. In the center was the brightest part, growing brighter each second. Soon a low pitched hum broke through the sound of screaming ponies. "We're all gonna die!" another pony screamed loud enough for everyone else. Fluttershy now feinted behind the cart she hid behind.
The lines of light got brighter and brighter and soon the entire town of Ponyville had an eerie purple-blue tint to it. Then a loud sonic boom blasted and a trail of cyan (bright-blue) light shot at the Town Hall. Now a loud energetic sound filled the air. Also the sound of screaming ponies grew even louder. You would swear that they were now screaming at the top of their lungs. Everypony shot outward away from the now-melted Town Hall.
That's when strange stuff began to happen. Everypony's cutie marks began to glow and subdivisions of which started appearing on their hooves. Their eyes started glowing brighter. A few pegasi ponies overcalculated and went flying into the air faster than they thought they would be going normally. Earth ponies began to run faster as they cleared the pool of luminous cyan energy that once was their Town Hall. Twilight used a teleportation spell to get farther away from the light. But this time, the spell took 3 yards of ground with it, and the few ponies that stood on it. Twilight fell off of the pile of rubble as it rematerialized outside of town and crashed into a river.
"I didn't teleport THAT far" Twilight said out loud.
"I didn't know you could take a chunk of ground with it." said Applejack, who was one of the ponies that joined Twilight in that teleportation spell. The other one was a brown Earth pony with green hair and a tree for a cutie mark, more like trees all over his hooves as well. Twilight looked down at her hooves also and noticed multiple little stars that were replicas of her own cutie mark.
"What's with our hooves?" asked Applejack, who had apple icons all over her hooves.
"Whatever that thing is, it is pumping out pure magic." said Twilight.
The stream of cyan magic had no sign of stopping, many ponies were completely covered in cutie mark icons that were glowing brightly. "It burns! It burns!" yelled a filly who was enveloped in light.
BOOM!
The filly exploded in a shower of colorful light. BOOM! another filly blew up in a shower of sparkles.
"NO NO NO NOT MY BABIES" screamed their mother.
Doctor Whooves was in his watch shop and he was also covered in hourglass icons. "NO, it's not my time! It's not OUR time!" he yelled. He bowed his head and it seemed he was concentrating on something. Then there was a POP!.
Pinkie Pie was also panicking "Please, we can't die today, not today, NOT TODAY!" POP!.
"What's that?" asked Twilight as she pointed at the sky.
"I don't know, it's kind of hard to see being so close to the sun." replied Rainbow Dash.
"Looks like a huge..." Pinkie Pie said as she stared at the object, then she stopped.
"A huge what?" asked Twilight as she looked at the black spot in the sky.
"no no no no no" Pinkie Pie rolled up into a ball and rocked back and fourth.
"What's wrong?" asked Rainbow Dash.
"This can't be happening." said Pinkie.
"What can't be happening?" asked Rainbow.
"Our ends!" said Pinkie.
"So you are telling me that whatever that is up there, it is not friendly?" asked Applejack.
"Yes, no no no NO NO NO! We're ALL GONNA DIE!" Pinkie Pie began running around and screaming about the end of Ponyville. Soon she got everypony else running around like maniacs. The object was now the size of a basketball, growing ever so closer. Fluttershy was now behind a cart, crying now.
"Well, we lost Pinkie, what do we do now?" asked Twilight.
Doctor Whooves opened his eyes to see the sun shining through the window of the clock shop. "It's over?" he said to himself as he stepped out of the shop.
"no no no no. We're all GONNA DIE!" Pinkie Pie's voice came from the center of town. The sound of panicking ponies filled Doctor Whooves' ears.
"Celestia help us." mumbled Doctor Whooves under his breath when his eyes spotted the black object that was now the size of a basket ball. "That's odd, either it's leaving or I have just went back in time. If it was leaving, why is everypony going crazy?"
He watched as the ship filled up half of the sky, he watched as the spikes unfolded, he watched as the cyan stream melted the Town Hall. He began to notice the hourglass cutie marks appearing on his hooves. "Please, whatever happened to send me back in time, please do it again."
He focused on going backward in time, then eventually POP!
Pinkie Pie began to get worn out on running when the stream of cyan melted the Town Hall. She then began focusing on going back in time again. POP!
Pinkie Pie opened her eyes to find herself in her bed and the clock showing that it was morning. I didn't expect going back this far, I have to warn somepony, Twilight maybe.
