For years, the Northern Tundra was thought to be a desolate wasteland, uninhabited by ponies. But when Snowflake and Blizzard are sent there by the King and Queen when traces of Dark Magic are sensed there, the two ponies come across 3 small villages, feuding with each other over a disagreement between their ancestors.

The Northern Ponies must put aside their differences to protect a powerful magic hidden in the tundra. A monstrous unicorn by the name of Sombra seeks to use it to take control of the wasteland and make the ponies who live there his slaves. Can Snowflake and Blizzard help these ponies see the light of day and defeat Sombra before it's too late?
