The pony walked slowly towards abandoned shack. She slowly opened the door and called “hello, are you there Pinkie?”
“I’m here Dashie-Washie,” she exclaimed “ I left you some dinner on the table, and You can leave your cloak thingy on the rack. “
Their humble abode was made of wood that Rainbow Dash had harvested. Pinkie and Rainbow Dash made the furniture and “things” inside. Pinkie had somehow found two rocks that were shaped like chairs that they lounged around on in their spare time. Rainbow had to go to work with the weather patrol and had breaks on Saturdays and when storms came in.
Life was normal until the incident that changed their little lives. “So, how was today?” asked Rainbow with curiosity in her eyes, “ Did anything interesting happen while I was gone?”
“Nothing but… THIS!” Pinkie pulled out a paper with images of pets of all sorts. From the average guinea pig to huge alligators. “I thought of looking at stuff from that place.”
Rainbow dash sighed and groaned “ You’re thinking of getting an alligator again aren’t you, you’ve been wanting one ever since we got married.”
“Too late, I already ordered  one over the telephone, I named him Gummy cause' he has no teeth!" Pinkie chimed " I can't wait for it!"
Rainbow was confused, "We have a telephone?" she asked "we never bought one unless... PINKIE, YOU USED MY LIFE SAVINGS TO BUY A TELEPHONE!!!"
"Y-yes,"
"Sorry, I don't know what happened to me.
Rainbow hugged pinkie awkwardly and asked her forgiveness.
"Oh, it's nothing, really."replied pinkie, jolly as ever.
The next few months were normal ( aside from Gummy) until they made the decision that changed their very lives. They were moving to ... Ponyville!
They packed things such as food, 'Gummy", obviously the party cannon, and other stuff. After 5 nights and 4 days, they made it. They ran out of food on the second day ( pinkie being so hungry) and had to hurry to get there quicker (because, you know, lack of food). All day and night they walked...
... and walked...
until the town hall was in view.
"Look Gummy, a building," exclaimed pinkie, holding him up to 'look' at the first ponymade structure they'd seen in days in days.
Of course, Rainbow was familiar with her surroundings because she flew through here to get to work.
Here they were, the fabulous city of ponyville! The town that lowly apple farmers were said to start.
They had no idea how to take it all in at first, but then pinkie screamed so loudly that even Canterlot could hear "CIVILIZATION, DASHIE WE MADE IT, I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!"
