A View Outside
Previous ChapterNext ChapterTwilight stepped out into the natural light of the sun and gazed out at the town of Ponyville. The buildings’ yellow roofs gleamed in the sunshine, casting a yellowish glow across the town’s marketplace. The sky displayed a deep, rich blue hue over her head. The flowers that were planted around had bloomed in a vast number, throwing sparks of color around in different corners of Twilight’s view.
It is a beautiful view, Twilight thought to herself. It was completely worth the detour.
Twilight suddenly realized something was missing from this scene; ponies. It seemed that nopony was here either.
Ready to get back on track, Twilight took a sharp left to enter the side door of the library, hopefully to discover if Spike had gotten a letter.
