Author's Note

Hey everypony. This fic is for the 103rd Anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. So I really hope you'll enjoy this fic.

Chapter 1

April 10th, 2015

You and Sunset Shimmer are at the library to find some strange and random facts on Equestria, or some other stuff that's totally random for you both. You've only been looking for about twenty minutes until Sunset finally found something.

"Hey, check this out." She said as she showed you a book. It has a picture of someone lighting their hair on fire. You both burst out laughing at the photo for no apparent reason. That was pretty funny. To you and Sunset at least.

After a few more minutes of looking. You start to look for something that involves history, and as you look, there's all types of stuff you could look at. But their all boring as hell. Why did you come to this section anyway? This is something that your friend Twilight would do all day.

"What'cha looking for?" Sunset said as she crouch down beside you.

"Eh, nothing good over here." You said to her as ou looked at the books. Sunset looks like she spotted something.

"Nothing good huh?"

"What?" Sunset pulls out a book and shows it to you. Is that Titanic? You took the book from her hand."Titanic?"

"Mm-hm." Sunset nods. You remember studying the history of Titanic. How it sunk, how many people died that night. You hated history. But Titanic was the only type of history that you was interested in.

"Ah, Titanic. Good choice." Said the librarian that popped up beside you two. She looks old. "My great grandmother was on the Titanic. She was coming down here to visit her family, but she didn't make it. She went down with the ship."

"Wow." Was your only response. "That's really sad."

"Indeed it is." The librarian follows you two to a near by table for you two to look at the book even further. "Titanic was the famous ocean liner in history. People would call her the ship of dreams, and it was. It really was." This is pretty interesting. You and Sunset came a long way to find something that's awesome and... shocking too. As you two went further on, you notice that theirs two kids on the deck. Huh, that's weird. They look exactly like you two. The girl that looks like Sunset Shimmer has the same hair. But different clothes.

The boy that looks like you has also the same hair, but different clothing as well. It surprised you two that there were kids that look just like you back then. You flipped to the next page to find Titanic colliding with an iceberg. That is what shocked the world.

"I remember when I was a kid, I always wanted to visit the Titanic on the night it sunk." You said as you stared at the picture.

"How come?" Sunset Shimmer asked you.

"I think it would be awesome." You said in excitement. "I mean, just imagine visiting the ship at the bottom of the ocean. It'll be like the coolest thing ever." All of a sudden, a random idea came to your head. "An what it would be like to be on the ship would be really neat."

Sunset Shimmer just giggled at your thought on Titanic.

"Speaking of that." The librarian said as she grabbed both of your attention. "There's a man by the name of "Richard Magnis." He's in charge of the whole submarine thing, and he's planning on visiting the Titanic with visitors."

This made your face turn into surprise look. This could be it. Seeing the Titanic for the very first time ever. Man, that'll be awesome.

"When." You asked without thinking.

"Tomorrow." Said the librarian. "It's not far from here. Just a few blocks away." Sweet. New York is awesome. Since that you're far away from Canterlot. But hey, it's Spring Break. So you and Sunset have that best time of your lives.

April 11, 2015

You and Sunset head to the docks the next day to visit this "Richard Magnis" guy. Is he nice? You hope so. You and Sunset both. You approach a wooden deck to see a man who looks like he's in his early to mid thirty's.

"Ugh! Jason I told you to not to fold the damn maps!"

"I didn't."

"Then why are they folded? How are we gonna find the Titanic? We only got a few days to find it!"

"I know, I know. Just... calm down man."

"Whatever. Just... don't fold the maps from now on, okay?"He calls out the crew to get their attention. "Alright guys listen. Were leaving in a few hours. Get what you need and get ready. We'll be back on April 16th, so I hope you wont get sea sick on the way there and back!" He stops as he turned around and faced you two. "Hello. Can I help you two?" He asked with a smile.

"Yeah." Said Sunset Shimmer as she stepped up. "My friend and I heard that you were taking a couple of guest's to the Titanic?"

He puts a hand to his chin to think. "Wait, you're Sunset Shimmer right?" She nods. "Oh that's right. I talked to both of your parents last night on the phone. Come on, I'll show you around while we get ready."

This is gonna be a blast.
