The Rules Of The Night

Batman was walking around New York, jumping from building to building. He suddenly landed on an old, broken down building. As he was silently looking around, he saw a young woman, of about 19, laying unconscious. He lightly shook the lady awake. The woman lifted her head.

"Meow," she said as she started stretching her arms and wings.

She then opened her eyes and started twirling her midnight blue hair, which seemed to move along with a non-existent breeze. Her cyan eyes darted around until she caught glimpse of Batman staring at her.

"Who art thou?" she asked.

"I am Batman. Who are you?" questioned Batman as the woman dropped unconscious.

Luna opened her eyes and shook as she heard a beeping noise.

"Where are we?" she asked as she saw a man with a dark skin tone and a black eye patch. "Art thou a pirate?"

"No. I am Colonel Fury. The better question is who are you? You don't look human." answered the man.

"What time is it?"

"Five in the afternoon."

"Umm... We can tell thee in an hour after I raise the moon and stars."

"Yes, sure."

"Thank you."

"You are welcome."

After all the Avengers and a surprise guest entered the command room, they were all wondering why there was an emergency meeting at midnight.

"All right, lady. Please explain." said Batman impatiently .

"We are Princess Luna. I come from a faraway planet called Equiis. The country We come from is called Equestria. We used to rule there with our sister, Princess Celestia. She left for Earth one day and We decided We had to follow her. We've been here for ten years and We still haven't found her." answered Luna.

"Mhmm... And you mentioned something about raising the moon and stars?"asked Fury.

"Umm, yes We raise the moon and stars while my sister raises the sun."

"I thought the Earth rotates around the sun." the guest complained.

"Shut up Robin!" snapped Batman.

"No it is a very good question. That is what my sister and We let you humans believe." smirked Luna as she opened her wings with subtlety.

"Well, thou seem as if thou art a goddess of some sort," pointed out Thor.

"Thou can sayest that. We also have the capability to use magic, fly and we posses an incredible strength. As my sister would say, We are an incredible ally and an unpredictable enemy." commented.

"Thou speakest old English as well? We already like her."

"Well, since she is going to stay here for a while, she might as well join our team."said Fury.

"For what, pray tell?" questioned Luna.

"Well, a prophecy says a war is coming, but it didn't mention when. Till then I want to gather as many allies as possible."

"Then We will join thy team!"

"But you will have to pass a few tests."

"Such as?"

"Follow me. You will have to fight my current team. Thor, Hawkeye, Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk and now Robin." replied Fury pointing to each person in turn. "Beat them, you join. Lose and you leave."

"Deal Mr pirate," smirked Luna.

"One request?"asked Robin.

"Granted." sighed Fury.

"Can you please just not speak in old English? Thor is annoying as is." complained Robin.

"Fine!" shouted Luna in her Canterlot voice. "Sorry."

"Three, two, one. GO!" shouted Fury and Batman simultaneously.

"Let's rock and roll bitches!" shouted Luna.

Captain America started running and put his shield in front in attempt to knock Luna over. Luna ran towards Captain America and jumped on his shield, propelling herself towards Hawkeye. She landed on the hero and kicked away his bow and arrows. Iron Man shot lasers at Luna but the alicorn created a force field, running towards Hulk as she gave the green creature a roundhouse kick in the jaw. She then turned around and fired two lasers, one at Iron Man and the other at Hulk. Hulk and Iron Man both slammed into the wall. Thor threw his hammer, only it to be flying back and hitting him in the head as he fell unconscious. Luna sat gasping for air as she looked around. Only one person was left: Robin.

"Nice. I've got to hand it to you. You are pretty good. But don't think I'll go easy on you just because you are a girl." snarled Robin.

"I wasn't any special treatment, birdbrain." growled Luna.

Her eyes suddenly turned and emerald green color and her pupils turned as thin as a needle, they were just a slim black line across her eyes. Her ears morphed into her head and a pair of midnight blue cat ears appeared on top of her head, black stripes running across them. A midnight blue tail appeared on her backside, decorated by black stripes that ran across. The alicorn lifted one hand in front of her face and smiled as she saw her teeth and nails sharpening. Robin ran towards Luna as he pulled a staff out of his cape. Luna somersaulted over Robin as she magicked a staff. The two staffs clashed. Luna threw her staff away and magicked a sword and cut Robin's staff in two. Growling, Robin threw the remainder of his staff away and charged at Luna as the alicorn threw her sword away. Robin grabbed Luna by the neck in attempt to choke her. Luna put her hands on Robin's and lifted her legs kicking him far as he slammed into a wall. Batman went to check on the heroes as Fury went over to Luna. Luna was canceling her morph.

"Luna that was amazing. I would ask you to join BUT YOU DESTROYED ALL MY TEAM!" shouted Fury.

"Calm down Fury. I can solve this." apologized Luna as she waved her hand. All the heroes were enveloped in a light blue aura. All the heroes soon awoke.

"What  was that?" asked Batman.

"Healing spell. Heals any wound." answered Luna.

"Wow!" marveled the Avengers and Robin.

"I learned that spell about 2000 years ago. It helped out out a lot during the Equestrian wars.  I've led the Equestrian armies in all the wars. You see my sister is better at the political part and I'm better at the fighting and planning." smiled Luna.

"Join us. This war will be won by us if we have you on our side." said Captain America.

"We shall need as much help and allies as we can get. With thee, this war will be ours." said Thor with hope.

"I mean, who knows how long this war will go on for? Maybe you can use an immortality spell so we can live forever for this war." suggested Iron Man.

"Sure. I cannot say no. I mean all these ideas are great. I shall join." sighed Luna

"Then welcome the new Avenger, Luna." said Fury as everyone cheered.
