A band of dragon mercenaries pursues a goblin warlord into a world- jumping portal, bringing them to Equistria. The goblin uses the resulting mess and scattering of the portal-jump to hide and rebuild his strength, gaining some unlikely allies in this new world,… changelings?
Meanwhile the dragon mercenaries are thrown throughout Equistria upon their landing. Not all of the war-experienced dragons interact well with the talking equines they stumble into. All of them are still determined to put down the goblin that dragged them there in the first place.
Two Draconequi seek to take advantage of the confusion, trying seize the title "Spirit of Chaos & Disharmony" for themselves, in an attempt to over throw the "reformed" discord.
