Chapters Who am I? More importantly what happened. The last thing I remember was a battlefield.
I awoke to a blistering headache, my eyes slowly opened as I gain control again. I tried standing up but I could not my back left hoof hurt as if a manticore had just chewed it up. My whole body hurt not as much as the hoof but everything. I soon saw I had wings and tried using them. It hurt but not as much as it would be standing. I flew around to find out where I was. I was not ready for what I saw. Ponies and zebras dead everywhere. I still couldn't remember what had happen but I can tell it was a war. I flew very slow to not hurt my wings as much as I had already. I wanted to find somepony who could help me remember, then by a stroke of luck a stallion saw me and ran as fast as he could to me. I flew closer to the ground as the stallion started to get closer. He had a dark green coat and his mane was the color of sand. He came up to me with tears in his eyes, it looked like he knew me.
"General Glory! You're alive! I thought the zebras killed you but obviously not because you're alive!" He said. I didn't know what to say. He knows me but I don't know him. " Don't you remeber me it me Sergeant Camo. Glory do you know who I am?"
"No… Camo was it? I don't know who I am let alone you." I told him.
"Well you're General Glory. You lead us to victory with the battle of the zebras. Many lives were lost many wounded hundreds killed. You saved me actually. You saw I was about to be kill and you bucked a zebra in the mouth but you hit your back hoof pretty hard." He Pointed to the hoof that I couldn't stand on earlier. "After that you still went on eventually I couldn't find you so I went all over Everfree and now you're here!"
"I wish I could remember, why were we fighting?" I asked him.
"I'll tell you more later we need to get you to an infirmary to tend the wounds." He said he took my hoof and I went to the ground he put his hoof behind my head to help me walk to the infirmary. Later we met up with me again and started telling me about why we were fighting the zebras.
" Wow all that because ponies thought they were different." I said
"Yeah but I think that if we talked with the zebras instead of fighting then we would be at peace." Camo told me. Then a beautiful white unicorn with light blue mane came in with bandages. She started to wrap around my leg.
"Ok mr. Glory you can walk now but I would hold off fighting for a while." She said, she smiled gently and left.
"Well Glory I've got to get back to the camp do you need anything?" Camo asked me.
"I have one question for you,"I asked him.
"Do I have a family?"
Camo stopped dead in his tracks. He turned and looked at the ground.
"Umm... Yes, But I don't know where they are." He said.
"What do you mean?" I asked him. Camo took out a picture and gave it to me. "Who are the ponies in the picture?" The Photo had a light green unicorn with a navy blue pegasus beside her and on the bottom of them was two fillies one a dark green pegasus that appear to be a mare and a light blue unicorn colt.
"That's you, your wife, Forest, and your children, Arrow and Pistol." Camo explained
"Ok but what did you mean when you said you don't know where they are?" I asked him.
"Well before the War had started we had to leave very quickly before the Zebras could attack and well during all the chaos you lost your wife and kids at the train station to the safe houses and you didn't know which one they went to." He looked at me. "I'm sorry General."
"No it's alright tell me what was she like? How did we meet? Did you help me meet her?" I asked him.
"I'm sorry general I have to get back to the troops. But as nightfall comes I will answer your questions. Please try and rest so you can heal faster."
"Alright...Camo." I told him, I'm starting to remember his name,but I still don't know anything about him or what this war is all about. He left and I tried to fall asleep, but something happened a faded memory in my dreams. It looked like a battle with zebras?
I saw Camo looking weak with a zebra about to kill him. I ran right to that Zebra and bucked him in the mouth some blood came out from both myself from his weapon and him from how hard I bucked him. I fell back in pain even cursing a bit.
"AH...DAMN IT!" I yelled. I fell on my back left hoof and it hurt bad. This must had been the battle I was recently in that made me lose my memory.
"GENERAL!" Camo yelled. He saw my bloody hoof. "You need to leave General! You're injured you should not go on or you could get hurt worse!" He told me.
"NO! I will not lose this battle to the enemy! If I die then I die with Glory! That's my name after all!" I told him I took my sword and went on to fight then I started to come back to reality.
"It was a dream? It felt so real, Maybe..." I thought I got up seeing that it was dusk. "Maybe camo is done.." I tried getting up and luckily it worked I didn't feel as much pain as I did earlier that day. "Ok Time to find Camo." I walked out slowly and saw the campsite. Eventually after blindly walking around I saw Camo. "Camo!" I said he was talking to two other stallions an earth pony and a Unicorn like Camo.
"Oh General Glory I was just about to go and see you again I'm glad you're up." Camo said.
"Camo you seem to know me as if we were friends so please just call me Glory"
"Ok Gener..Glory" Camo said. "Hungry? it's time for dinner."
"Yeah after all that had happened to day with me losing my memory I think what I need now is a meal." I told him.
"Well ok then.. By the way you don't happen to remember These two knuckleheads do you?" Camo asked me.
"No"
"Well I'm Water Wave" The Unicorn said.
"I'm Photo Flash" the Earth colt said.
"All four of us were the best of friends anypony had ever seen." Water Wave said.
"Come on lets now waste more time time to eat!" Photo Flash said. He and Water Wave ran inside like fillies whl Camo walked in with me. All the Stallions and few nurse mares looked at me like I was a ghost, then slowly cheered like I was the president.
"Wow. Do they always do that?" I asked him. Camo looked at me and chuckled a bit.
"Glory you have a lot to remember."

Ok a Brand New story for the website, I think it is pretty great. The idea is loosely based around the war movie Glory about Colonel Robert Shaw during the Civil War. So Hope you like it and Hopefully it will be a Good First Chapter!

Camo showed me to my seat where Water Wave and Photo Flash we're already golfing down there food. I sat down to start eating when a dark purple Unicorn colt came up to me. I didn't see him when I walked in, so he must be surprised that I'm here.
"Glory? Good ol Glory?!" I thought you had died in the last battle, well I guess that battle was not a total lost…" He said. I was confused Camo told me we won the last battle.
"Umm Camo you told me we won the last battle…" I asked Camo. He got nervous I could tell he twitted his hoofs around and started to shy back.
"Well… not exactly I told you that you lead us to victory at the battle with the zebras…I sorta stretched the truth. We lost the last battle but when I ment you lead us to victory I mean that you told us a great way to beat them." Camo said. Before I could ask him more he started stuffing his face to avoid being asked more questions.
"Well then, by the way who are you?" I asked the purple colt.
"You pulling my leg, general? It's me Blitz Creek !" He said with a smile
"I'm sorry Mr. Creek I don't remember you." I told him his smile went away and a worried one came on.
"Sir you don't rememember me?"
"No I don't. I don't know anybody around here except for Camo" I told him. His smile sank like a ship.
"But why? We were the best friends any pony could ever had seen!" He told me.
"I-I-I… Don't feel very well." Everything was spinning and I felt very warm. I got from my seat and crumpled to the ground with panic voices saying my name and other things that I couldn't make out before I blacked out completely. I soon woke up to a sorta familiar place, the infirmary that I was in when Camo found me. It looked like it was morning, I couldn't remember what has happen last night, the only thing I remember was cheering and a purple colt. I slowly got up and saw that purple colt right there by my side in a chair. He looked exhausted and I think he was trying to stay awake but he was half asleep.
" Huh…? Oh you finally woke up I got so worried! How you feel Glory?" He asked me.
"Good I guess. Wha-what happened…" I asked him.
"You fainted last night at dinner, you had a pretty high fever. My guess it was caused by dehydration, Camo told me that you were missing for a few days and I guess you didn't have enough water early on that day and you just gave out."
"Wow, now how long have you been here umm…"
"Blitz Creek, and I've been here all night I never left your side." He told me. I was amazed that he would do that for me.
"Thank Blitz Creek. Well I guess I should get back to rest, you need sleep." I told him.
"I would fight saying I don't but I can't when I really do" he told me. " Do you need anything?"
"No, thanks you Mr. Creek." I told him. He turned around and said something.
"Can you stop calling me that?! I'm your brother for ponys sake!" He yelled. I was shocked he said that.
"Your my…what?" I asked him
"Brother. I didnt want to shock you until you were more cofertable with me but I guess I got tired of you calling me Mr. Creek." He said.
"I'm so sorry Blitz but how are we brothers we don't look anything like each other." I asked him. He pulled a picture out from under his hat. In the picture was two fillies a mare and a stallion with a broken hoof. The dark purple filly looked taller than the navy blue filly. The mare in the photo had a lavender coat with navy blue hair like my coat while the other had a orange coat with dark blue hair like Blitz manes. The stallion looked like a war hero with his dark green jacket on decorated with a few medals on it. The mare looked beautiful with a light pink dress with white and yellow. Shelooked like a princess which was very odd considering it looked,like she might of had wings but she was a unicorn, I decided not to question it.The Photo looked like it was taken 15 years ago, the mare and stallion didn't even look very old they look a little younger than we do now.
"Are these our parents?" I said
"Yes little brother." I put the photo down and saw Blitz tearing. I started tearing up as well, then the waterworks came.
"Brother!" I said.
"Brother!" Blitz Creek said. We hugged tight and soon after a small bit we stopped.
"Thanks you Blitz Creek for this" I told him.
"No problem brother, I must go now" Blitz Said, he giving me a small wink and left. I took the picture out again to see if it could help me remember anything. With some luck maybe it will. I took a long drink of water and started to rest my head again. I wasn't prepared for what I saw.
It looked like a normal day, me and Blitz were playing in the living room our mother (she looked like a normal unicorn now) was in the room reading a book about star swirl. Then there was a huge knock on the door. Our mother used her light pink magic to open the door
"Miss there had been a terrible accident! Your husband is hurt."
*What?! What do you mean?" She said.
" At the town today a few of the Ponies were rebelling. Your husband tried to stop them before the Zebra guards got involved, but he was too late. He was shot in the hoof, a few more were injured while two stallions were killed. Some of the ponies are calling this 'The Bostomare Massacre.' He is in the Hospital but I fear that where he was shot he might not be able to use the hoof anymore. The messenger said, the lavender mare stumbled back, she started to cry. Blitz and me went over to her to comfort her.
"Oh, my husband, It's those Stripe Coats! They keep taxing us! Eventually we will have nothing left! To think your father has survived much worse During the war, and this is how they repay him! If they think we are going down without. Fight they are wrong!" My mother said. She was angry. Blitz put a hoof on her to calm her down. "Your right kids, thank you sir."
"No problem miss, you can visit your husband in the hospital, if your not busy that is." He told her.
"That's what we are going to do. Come kids." She said. Me and Blitz along with that mail pony left. *
I started to wake up from my weird dream, was it a dream? It felt so real, I got out of bed to see a late afternoon, it was still bright out. Then a Aqua colored unicorn pushed me back into the tent.
"No! You must stay in bed! Lieutenant Blitz and Sergeant Camo had ordered me to keep you away from ze battlefield and in bed!" she said, she had a very thick accent, possible Russian or French. She pushed me back into my bed.
"I'm sorry, but what is your name?" I asked her. she gave me a death stare.
"I am a nurse, You don't need to know my name!" She said, i could tell now her accent is Russian, but with a little bit of french.
"OK. Well what am I suppose to do while I am here then, Miss?"
"Eat, you haven't had food in days, I might not care so much for you but the others see highly of you, General Glory."She put a tray of food down by the table in the tent. "You may leave this tent when every bit of food is gone, Glory."
"OK. Miss, may I ask but where are you from, you have a very strong accent." She turned to me.
"I am from Saddle Arabia, I came here to Equestria to be a nurse, but then I get dragged in this War!" She said. she kinda sounded sad.
"Why did you want to be a Nurse?" I asked her after eating a bit more.
"I want to help pony's that cannot help themselves, I may seem vile to you, but that's only because I know you have a family, and that you lost your Memory. You need your memory back, if you don't I fear that possibly we might not win this war." She said.
"Why? Why am I so important to everyone?! I think i'm just some Stallion that hit his head and got lost on a Battlefield!" I yelled. She walked back a little, she looked a little scared. "I...I'm sorry Miss. I just wish I knew why I was so important!"
"Bomb Heart"
"What?"
"Bomb Heart, that is my name, see?" She turned around to show her Cutie mark was a Pure red heart with a fuse on it.
"Oh, that's a lovely name Miss Heart"
"Thank you." She looked at my tray. "Well I guess I can't keep you hostage anymore Sir. You can go, Blitz and Camo should be done by now, it's around Dusk." She said. She walked close to me. "For your little freak out just know this. Nikogda sdavat'sya, vsegda yest' nadezhda "
"What?!"
"Never give up, there's always hope." She said. She left the tent. I got out of Bed to see it was Dusk, a ashy violet and purple sky with a few stars and the mare in the moon. I walked aimlessly though the campsite, I finally found Photo Flash.
"Oh your up?!"
"Yes, Do you know where Blitz and Camo are?"
"Yeah, they went in there, I think the were discussing the Battle that just happen." Photo pointed to a large tent, just about as large as the infirmary I was in. I walked slowly to the tent, before I got there I heard them arguing.
"This was a HUGE loss and you know it Blitz!"
"Camo! Think about it, They lost three times more Stallions then we did, plus My brother is still alive, when he get's his memory back, he will lead us to victory!"
"IF He get's it back, He is in really bad shape I have the benefit of the doubt!"
"Don't ever speak of my brother that way you..." Blitz said soon saw me along with Camo. Their faces turned white as snow.
"General! Ummm..... How are you feeling?" Camo said nervously.
"I feel better thanks to Miss Bomb Heart."
"Great! Do you remember anything new Glory?" Blitz asked me.
"Nothing useful, What were you two fighting about?" I asked them.
"We were talking about the last battle, despite us losing we did kill more than they did on us." Blitz said.
"Especially with what Blitz did, He said 'Hold your Fire til you see the white's of their eyes!' with that we killed a lot more." Camo said.
"That's Amazing!"
"But we have more to worry about now then that battle. We have heard from our spies that the Zebra's are planing to attack very soon, and that they have allies, The Griffons." Blitz said
"Griffons? Do we have any allies?"
"We might be able to get the Breezies from France to help and maybe the Dragons of Spain, but that is of the Highest hopes." Blitz said.
"Have you thought of a plan for a sneak attack?" I asked them.
"No. They would always be on guard, we would never be able to sneak attack them." Camo said.
"What about Hearth's Warming?" I said. They both looked at me like I was nut's.
"On a Holiday like that?! That is the most....Brilliant idea in the world." Camo started to say like it was crazy then realizing it was not.
"Really?" I said
"Yes! Then we can catch them off guard and BOOM! attack at Dawn! It's gonna need planing including where but it's April, we've got time." Camo said. His stomach rumbled.
"I guess it's time for supper." Blitz said looking at Camo they both walked out the tent. "You Coming Brother?" I looked at them both. My best Earth pony friend and My Unicorn brother.
"Yeah, I'll be there in a second." I looked at the Map that was on the table in the tent. I knew that someday I will know why i'm here but for now I need to eat. I walked over to them, and left to go eat.

Ok I'm back into the swing of things with this story! Also I am going to clear up some things in this stories logic
General is the main leader, Lieutenant Is the second in command, Sergeant is third. I don't know if that is what it's like in the real world but in my story that's how it is.
I keep changing this but this wil, be the FINAL Time I change this. Camo is an Earth Pony despite what the first chapters said. I wanted to even out the story with one leader being an earth pony, one being a unicorn and the last one to be a pegasus. So Blitz is the Unicorn, Glory is the Pegasus, and Camo is the Earth pony. I will change that in the previous chapters.

(Also I forgot to say this in last chapter, who do you think Blitz and Glory's parents are? I kinda made it obvious but guess, get it right and you get a cookie! *Warning cookie might not be real*
It was later that night, Blitz showed me to where I sleep, it was like a place. The room had a few maps and pictures of some different ponies, one of them was of me and Blitz, but the other was a Mare.
"Hey Blitz...who's that?" I pointed at the picture of the mare.
"That's your wife, Ocean Breeze."
"My..wife? That's right Camo told me I had a family...do you remember anything about her by any chance?"
"Glory, I was the one who introduced you two the night of the Vetrens ball remember?" He said.
"...I don't remember... What was she like Blitz?"
"She was beautiful, sweet, kind. Her father was a general in the army, so she went to the ball like we did."
"Why did we go..?"
"Dad was a War hero. This was right after the war against the Dragons for land. We had a ball to remember all those who had died during the war, along with celebration the ones who fought for us."
"Wow..but how did you know Ocean Breeze?"
"We were old friends in school, I decided to introduce you two, guess I made a great choice showing you two together huh?"
"I guess so. She's beautiful.."
"Yeah..well get some sleep, Bomb Heart said you might be able to recover quick enough to restart training soon." He left my tent, I went over to the table where I saw a few more photos of Ocean Breeze and some fillies too. I guess I was a father, I wonder where they are and if they are ok..I can't worry about that all now, I better get some sleep. I blew out my candle and went to bed. I had another strange dream..no..I was remember something. But what?
It was a clear night, there were so many beautify stars in the sky, me and Blitz entered a building there were many stallions and mares dancing, wearing fancy gowns. I looked over at Blitz, he looked younger. We went over to talk with a few friends, Camo and the other two stallion that I met yesterday were there too. Blitz tapped me on the shoulder.
"Glory, I want you to meet an old friend of mine. Ocean Breeze, this is my brother Glory." The Aqua mare walked up to me, her sea foam green eyes glittered under the chandlers. Her light orange mane was curly and in a nice up do. She wore a beautiful dark blue dress, with a few ruffles at the end,with a necklace silver necklace with a stone want matched. She was beautiful, and I was speechless.
"Hello, Glory..I have heard many things about you from your brother, but none of them were that you are so hoofsome.."
"T-thank you..Miss Ocean" Real smooth Glory...stutter like an idiot in front of a beautiful mare.. I thought to myself. She smiled and chuckled a little.
"Are you nervous?" She asked me, I was sweating I didn't know what to say, she was breathtaking..I couldn't say anything, I had to get away from her..but I didn't want to.
"I-I'm going to get some fresh air!" I ran outside like an idiot in front of her. I was so sure my chances were blown. I stayed out there for a good half-hour maybe thinking about her. When someone taped my shoulder, I turned around, it was her.
"Glory? Are you ok? I was worried you left the ball.."
"Y-yeah..I just wanted to see the stars.."
"I live the moonlight with the stars..it's breathtaking.. But I still want to know..what happen in there? You looked as white as a ghost.."
"I-I guess I'm just not good at occasions like this.."
"Well maybe you can honor me a dance? If you would like.."
"It would be my pleasure, and honor as a gentlcolt to do so My lady." She chuckled again. We went inside and danced the night away. It was soon past midnight, we walked out of the building like many others had, I had told her good night, then she kissed me on the cheek.
"Maybe we can.."
"I would really like to.."
"Great. Maybe.."
"Next week?"
"Yeah that would be.."
"Great.." We were finishing each other's sentences..I was madly in love with her. She left with her father, my father came up to me.
"Have a good night son?"
"The Best.."
"I saw you dancing with Triton Shells' daughter Ocean, you like her?"
"No dad..." He looked at me in confusion. "I-I think..I love her.."
"Well..I should let you know what ever you decide me and your mother will be proud."
"Thanks dad."
"Let's go home, it's late.."
"Thanks dad.." We walked home, Blitz had left the aorta a little while eailer with our mother, so it was just us two. I wish I could remember more of who he was..but I don't..not now anyways..
It was morning, I opened my eyes to see my picture of Ocean Breeze. I looked around.
"Was that..the Veterns ball? I guess it was.." I took the smaller picture of me and her and out it on my desk. I put my uniform back on and went outside. It was dawn, many soldiers were doing exercises and some drills. I went over to my Brother. "Hey Blitz.."
"Morning Glory, sleep well?"
"I-I think...I had this..dream?"
"What was it?"
"I think it was the Vetrens ball..when I met Ocean Breeze.."
"That was an amazing night.."
"It sure was..it really was.."
