As usual with her flights, she was very observant, just in case their was any trouble and she needed to do some plot kicking. As she searched the ground, she saw a pegasus laying on the ground, covered in dirt and mane tangled. She flew closer and gasped. It was Fluttershy, holding her plushie close to her chest. She picked her up by her hooves and inspected her. No wounds. She placed her ear close to her nose and then her chest. She wasn't breathing. Rainbow Dash tired to stay calm. I have to get her to a hospital, quick. Maybe there's still time to save her she can't be gone! She held on to Fluttershy tightly, and flew as fast as she could to the hospital. "I need a doctor now! Sh-she isn't breathing!" A doctor rushed and put Fluttershy on a bed, and the nurse didn't let Rainbow Dash follow, since she wasn't a family member. "Ah, horse feathers, it isn't fair!" She sighed and leaned against the wall. As she closed her eyes, she thought about all the memories she had with Fluttershy, and how she never got to tell her what she really felt about her. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rainbow Dash looked over and saw a little yellow filly being bullied by those plot holes and flew over to them, angry and suddenly protective of this new filly. She stood up for her, and when she went missing after the race, she went searching for her. After that day, Rainbow Dash was Fluttershy's personal bodyguard and trainer. Fluttershy always stuck by her side and panicked when she wasn't around. Rainbow Dash saw Fluttershy as a little sister, although she saw her as annoying and needy at times, but, she loved her and never wanted anything bad to happen to her. When she found out she was leaving to Ponyville, Rainbow Dash started being more tough on her. You need to fend for yourself. I won't always be there you know!" "I know..l I know.. I'm sorry. " "Oh Celeista Fluttershy! do you always have to be so bucking sensitive!?" Fluttershy cried and flew off. "Wait! No one in Ponyville could help her. She lost hope. The elements of harmony didn't need her. She could die and no one could notice. Maybe she could go to the cloning pool Pinkie Pie found. Or ask her Changeling friend, (who she named Daisy) to step in for her. She no longer cared about anything. Nothing helped. She needed someone to watch her animals. But, who? She sighed, closed her eyes and tried to collect her thoughts. A train was said to be the less painful way to go. There was a train at night that only a few ponies rode. She could lay on the track, close her eyes and.. .she shook her head. Was she really going to do this? Just thinking about disappearing made her feel, some what peaceful. She grabbed a quill, a piece of paper and started writing a farewell note. Her eyes started tearing up and she was whimpering a little at the last sentence. She wiped away her tears, and took a deep breath. She went to her room for the last time and got the plushie of Rainbow Dash that Rainbow dash gave her. "So you are always with the awesomest pony ever!" Fluttershy hugged the plushie tight, looked at the clock, and sighed. It was time. No more stalling. Author's Note This is my first real fan-fic I ever posted on this site. "It's not true it's not true!" she wailed. "She can't be gone, I love her I need her" she cried into her hooves, for once not caring how she looked. The doctor reassuringly placed his hoof on her shoulder. "There there. would you like me to call your friends for you?" She nodded numbly. Twilight teloprted the four of them as fast as she could. Twilight comforted Rainbow Dash and Apple Jack held Rarity and ran her hooves trough her mare friends mane as she cried. "I was responsible for her!""I should of seen the signs." Pinkie Pie's hair was flat, and she just stared at the wall, speechless. She looked at Fluttershy one last time, sighed, then left. Twiligth took a deep breath, and began her speech. "Today, we lost a friend, well, more like a sister to some" (Rainbow cringed at this) she was the best friend any pony could have, the kindest pony in all Equestria. She may be physically gone now, but, she's in our hearts. We should remember her how she was, and never forget the kindest Equestrian that ever lived." The 3 applauded, wiping tears from their eyes. Looking around, they noticed Pinkie was missing. "We have to go look for her, she scares me when shes like this" says Twilight, looking at Fluttershy one last time, she leads the other ponies out the door. But Rainbow Dash stays. She rests her head close to Fluttershy on the bed and remanaces about their past. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ They both laugh as they fly trough the air, happy and free. "Your doing great Fluttershy!" "keep it up" Fluttershy beamed, giggled and did a flip. Rainbow Dash blushed. She thought Fluttershy was beautiful. Not like she would ever tell her that. Ever. Rainbow Dash knew she couldn't be into mares, she migth be bullied for it. She puffed up her chest. "eh, it could be better tough, your still not as good as me" she said zooming past Fluttershy. She hated being rude, but, she had to hide her affectations as best as she could. She never dreamed of hurting the filly, or her being hurt in any way. When she died, oh no, she mustn't think of that. That was far far off. She would die a old mare, noting would hurt her. They were going to be friends for ever, and nothing would take that way, she thought. She needed Fluttershy just as much as Fluttershy needed her. Her kindness, her sweet sweet gentleness, the way she sang to her when she was troubled. She sighed. She really did love Fluttershy. What would she do with out her?
