The OC6 Adventures Book 1: PrisonBreak
The floor was cold, and the room was dark. A blue pony with a radical blue and yellow mane rested inside. Blue Sprint was lying on his bed staring out his cell window. A loud, vicious storm raged outside. It was morning, at least Blue thought it was morning. He just woke up and had not been escorted out of his cell yet. Security was thick in this prison, with a guard to prisoner ratio of 3 to 1. Blue got up and walked to his cell door to see if he could find anypony else. Just across the cell block was Blue's best friend, Night Fall. Night Fall had a dark blue coat with a black mane, he was also a unicorn. Night was still asleep. Blue couldn't see any other pony from where he was, mostly because Blue Sprint and Night Fall were the only two prisoners in their cell block. Due to recent releases and prisoner on prisoner killings, cell block 4 rather empty.
Blue could hear a door open across the block. He stepped to the back of his room to stay hidden. Blue was not the kind of pony to get in a fight, using his words instead of his hooves. "Prisoner 4-4 and prisoner 4-12!" It was a guard, here to escort the cell block to the canteen for breakfast. "Wake up you worthless scum!" Then there was a banging of hoof on metal. Blue moved to his cell door to be let out and Night just got up with a loud yawn. The storm outside started to calm, but the tenseness in the air did not. The guards let Night out first to the canteen, leavening Blue to sit in his cell. A few minutes pass when the guards come back in for Blue, the let him out without hesitation, but they were on high alert. "Come on you worthless earth pony." One of the guards muttered. Blue being an earth pony didn't take offence. Being a kind pony gets you a far way, but Blue knew that not caring about other's opinion gets you farther.
The guards brought Blue outside to be greeted by a light rain, a cold calm breeze, and Grit... Grit was a grey coated earth pony with an even grayer mane, and he is the kind of pony that takes nothing from nopony, he has killed 9 guards and has dewinged a pegasus (Not motioning the many ponies he has killed outside of prison). Grit was surrounded by four guards trying to apprehend him, he was standing over some poor bleeding guard that must of made a snide remark. "Come on 4-4, no need to stop and stare." One of the guards spoke while pushing Blue along.
The guards finally got Blue to the canteen, the room was large with plenty of seating. The food however, not so extravagant. "Hey Blue! Get over here!" Night shouted through the commotion from across the room. Blue made his way to the serving line, getting a bruised apple and some kind of mush. He sat down with Night and started their usual conversation. "So, got anything new?" Night always greets Blue with his signature question of the morning.
"I think Grit killed another guard" Blue answered.
"You think?" Night questioned with a smile.
"Well I walked out into the yard to see Grit standing over some guard who was either dead or knocked out."
"Well before we add his body count to 10, we should ask One-Wing." Night protested.
One-Wing was the pegasus that got dewinged by Grit. He had a white coat and a green short mane and tail. He always gets escorted last to the canteen, so he knows if it's a confirmed kill.
"Well do you got anything new?" Blue asked Night.
"Rush tried to fly for it again, she didn't make it as usual." Night said before taking a bite from his apple.
"You mean that pegasus you like from the mare wing?" questioned Blue.
"Yea, she tried to get out just before dinner. She was too hungry to fly faster than the sentries, and she got shot down by one of the anti-air unicorns."
"Ouch!" Blue cringed at the thought of getting shoot out of the sky. "Is she alright?" Blue became worried.
"Yea, she's in the infirmary. She got her left wing busted up, and she lost a tooth." Night's voice got a little sadder.
Rush was a bright blue pegasus with a white bundled mane from the mare wing of the prison, she mostly worked in the prison garden and helped with cleaning, but she tried to escape any chance she got. From flying from the yard to hiding in garbage bags. Night worked in the garden with Rush. Blue worked cleaning in the mare wing due to good behavior, so him and Rush had a lot of time to talk about things. Blue was worried about Rush because Night and her were Blue's only real prison friends.
Blue was friends with almost every prisoner, but he was only friends with them through lies. Some guards referred to Blue as a 'Silver tongue'. Blue once persuaded a guard to let him try on his armor. He was successful only to be put into solitary for stealing a guards armor. Night however was know as 'The Thief'. Name something you can smuggle into prison, Night has had it at some point in time.
It was Blue Sprint's and Night Fall's first month in prison, and they already had a name for themselves.
"Ok everyone!" A captain of the guard appeared in the canteen's entrance. "Breakfast is over! Everyone move to the yard!" The captain commanded.
"We better get moving before we get trampled." Night nudged Blue to hurry up.
"Ok, I'm going." Blue protested.
Everypony dumbed their trays and headed to the yard (or as some call it 'the battlefield'). The yard was a large open half circle. The circle half was surrounded by the cell blocks. The flat side was covered by the canteen and work building. It was still raining, but the wind has stopped and everypony went to there favorite tables to talk. Every once and a while a race is had around the half circle yard. Most of the time however, were fights between prisoners. The best ones were usually unicorn duels. Sometimes a prisoner will get killed in very comical ways.
Blue and Night sit down at their table by the entrance of cell block 4, their cell block. They mostly kept to themselves. Only talking to other ponies if they walked by, or there was a massive fight and they needed to protect themselves. At that moment, One-Wing walked by. "How's the wings, One-Wing?" Night said to One-Wing.
"Very funny Night Fall." He replied very seriously.
"So what happened with Grit?" Blue jumped in to question.
"+1 to the body count."
"Really? What that guard do to set him off?" Night asked.
"I asked one of the guards. He said that the guard was a new recruit, he was not informed about Grit and he stepped on his tail."
"Grit will just about kill anypony for any reason." Night announced.
"You're just lucky you got out alive One-Wing." Blue said looking right at One-Wing's bare right side.
At that moment, a few guards walked up to the table. "You're getting a few new cell mates in a few minutes. Just don't kill them on their first day."
"Can do Mr. prison guard." Night replied with a smile on his face. The guards gave him fierce looks while they walked away.
"So, who do you think are fresh meat will be?" Night said to Blue.
"I don't know, I really hope we get another earth pony." Blue looked around the stallion yard to only see 3 other earth ponies, Grit and two complete unknowns.
"Please, we need another unicorn." Night interrupted pointing to his own horn.
"I'm going to laugh when you two get a pegasus, that will complete the set." One-Wing put in as he walked away towards cell block 7.
They all laugh, leading to Night and Blue sitting at the table, waiting, in bright hopes for their new cell mates. Across the yard, Blue and Night could see two ponies being escorted towards them. A stallion and a... mare? The stallion had a white coat and a gold sleek mane. He was also wearing golden sunglasses. The mare was a purple pegasus with a purple and yellow flourishing mane. They walk up to the table to greet their new cell mates. "Hold on right here! What is a mare doing in the stallion wing?" Night shouted at an escort guard.
"Why don't you ask them yourself?" The guards shoved the two at Blue and Night, leaving them alone.
"Ok, what is a mare doing in the stallion wing?" Night shouted at the mare's face.
"First off, you should ask my name first before screaming at me, and secondly, I'm classified as 'too dangerous' for the other girls." She spoke with an extreme amount of sass. This irritated Night Fall.
"Ok." Night said trying to calm down. "What is your name?"
"You are supposed to introduce yourself you know." She said, like she wanted to piss him off. Night was about to burst before Blue butted in.
"I'm Blue Sprint and my fine unicorn friend is Night Fall." Blue said holding Night back from blasting this pegasus over the wall.
"Night Fall? Sounds like a pansy name." Night was about to blow.
"My name's Violet Ozone by the way."
"Well it is nice to meet you Violet, may I ask who you are?" Blue looked over to the stallion who had already sat himself down, acting like he ruled this prison.
"The name's Lucky Strike, I suggest you hide your wallets from me." He spoke with a very firm, but suave voice.
"Please, you should hide your wallet from me!" Night yelled, feeling out ranked by an earth pony.
"Oh I bid you no real threat, I just use that phrase as my own slogan."
"And why would that be your slogan?" Blue question with an eyebrow raised high.
"I'm a Conpony, I'm in here for so many things, insurance fraud, credit card theft, and many other things revolving around your bit purse." He answered firmly. "And, I've been in prison before, and escaped." The whole group around him were surprised.
"You should try telling that to Rush." Blue spoke up. "She would think your a liar all the way to Sunday."
"Oh really?" Lucky felt challenged. "And where exactly is this mare?"
"Try checking the infirmary." Violet said. Blue and Night were surprised even more now.
"Wait how do you know Rush? She never mentioned any purple pegasus that likes getting on ponies nerves." Night questioned.
"Well, if you must know. I was good friends with the girl before being arrested. She ran in my illegal pegasus races." Violet answered with even more sass.
"Wait, so why are you in here anyway?' Lucky butted in to question her.
"Well, as I already told you, I ran illegal pegasus races. I'm also in here for 72 counts of arson, 106 counts of vandalism, 4 counts of illegal pegasus racing, and countless counts of conspiring against the princesses."
The whole group sat there, with their jaws hitting the floor. Who was this pegasus? And how is it that she did all this? Little did they know that Violet Ozone was an anarchist group leader. She got charged with all these crimes due to being caught and having none of her rebellion captured. She worked all over equestria, from the badlands to the Crystal Empire. She was a complete menace.
"So how did you get caught anyways?" Asked Lucky.
"A traitor named Crimson Karma. She is in the mare wing as we speak, probably surrounded by guards protecting her. As Celestia as my witness I will kill that mare!" Violet screamed with pure hatred. Even scaring the stallions beside her. There was an ominous silence in the yard, like every pony in there stopped what they were doing to see what the commotion was about. Lucky decided to break that silence.
"So what is there to do around here, other than sitting around talking?" He asked.
"Well, that is 80% of what you can do here. Every once in a great while there is race or a fight breaks out." Blue answered.
Suddenly, a loud commotion started near cell blocks 1 and 2. Then a small explosion! Without hesitation, everypony in the yard were screaming and running for safety. Night and Blue grabbed their new cell mates and ran for cover in cell block 4. A few small fire balls flew by, just nearly missing them. They finally take cover in the safety of their cells. All of them breathing heavily. "What. The. Hay. Just. Happened?" Lucky asked through his heavy breaths.
"He's at it again." Night answered.
"Don't. Play. The. Pronoun. Game. With. Me." Lucky was still catching his breath. "Who. Are. You. Talking. About?"
"Inferno Flare." Blue and Night said together.
"Inferno what? So your telling me some pony is setting this prison ablaze." Violet asked. Even she was scared at this moment.
"Do you remember the Trottingham mega-blaze?" Blue said. "That was this guy. He is a complete lunatic, and one of very few unicorns who can use elements with their horns instead of magic."
"So are we going to die? Because the last thing I wanted to do is die in prison." Lucky said worryingly.
"You're not going to die!" Night shouted. "Hopefully Eos shows up."
"Let me guess, he is another pony that plays an important role in this prison." Violet said.
"You called it." Blue Replied.
The four sat in silence, other than the screaming and the explosions happening outside. They were not sure what to expect in the end. Would they walk out to a courtyard full of charred corpses? Would they walk out and find that the whole prison is on fire. After some time, everything went quite. They decide to come out of hiding to see what is left of the prison, only to find it mostly intact. The ground was scorched. Some tables were melted. Inferno Flare was in chains in the middle of the yard. With a muzzle on his mouth and a metal cuff on his horn. Eos standing by him.
Now everyone had started coming out of safety to see what had happened. Most ponies got out unscathed. Some however, were not so lucky. I few had burns on their bodies. One pony even was missing his tail from the fire. Luckily, nopony was dead. A commotion started in the crowd. Mostly questions like 'Did anyone see what happened?' and 'Are we safe?' But nopony know what really happened except Eos. "Hey Eos!" Night Fall spoke up through the chatter.
"Do you know what the hay just happened?" Night asked.
"I'm not even sure what happened." Eos replied.
"Well, you are the only one who can keep Inferno under raps."
"I know that, but I just don't know what set him off this time."
"Well why don't we ask him?" Night suggested.
They proceeded to removing Inferno's muzzle, only to have him break into maniacal, insane laughter. Spreading fear in most of the ponies who weren't even part of the event. Some of the over-watch guards were frightened by his laughter. They quickly put the muzzle back on. Failing in their attempts to communicate with this insane pony. "So why is it that this Eos character can keep that completely insane pony under control." Lucky whispered to Blue.
"Eos is like the father of the stallion wing, and he is the only unicorn here who has been able to master mind control. He uses it to keep the peace in here. He is trying to get out on parole for good behavior." Blue Sprint replied.
After some time, the yard was orderly again. Every prisoner resumed their daily routines. Blue Sprint headed to work in laundry, while Night Fall headed to the infirmary to check on Rush. Leaving Lucky and Violet to themselves in the yard. This morning started with Grit killing a guard. Then Inferno Flare almost burning the prison down. This may have been the ponies most exciting start to a day, but it was not over yet.

Night Fall walked his way through the prison hallways. He was on his way to the infirmary to see Rush. Hoping she wasn't too hurt from her fall. He approached the entrance to the infirmary, took a deep breath, and walked in. Greeting him were several wounded ponies. Some were suffering from unicorn stab wounds. Some by a kick to the head during a fight. One pony happened to stand out, or rather sit out. Rush was sitting in a dentist's chair, either waiting for her operation or she was already done with it. "Hi Fall Night." She said.
"Um Rush, It's Night Fall. Are you ok? Night asked.
"Yeaaaaaa, the doc said something about putting something in my... head?" She replied. At that moment, the prison doctor walked by.
"Don't mind her." The doctor said. "She is still delirious from the medicine."
"I took medicine? When did that happen?" Rush said. She was not in the right place.
"How long until she comes off the meds doc?" Night Fall asked.
"A few hours max. For a minimum, I would say 45 minutes." He answered.
"Minimum 45 minutes?! That's like, 40 + 5 minutes." Rush put in.
The doctor put a gas mask on Rush to put her asleep momentarily, he was tired of listening to her incoherent noises. Night Fall asked if anything else was wrong with Rush. All the doctor could say it that she was missing a tooth, and that she suffered a minor concussion. Disappointed that he could not get a full conversation, Night Fall left the infirmary. He headed to the prison's orchard, where most of the prison's food came from.
Blue Sprint however, was working in the mare wing, distribution clean prison outfits to the mares. He asked if anypony knew Crimson Karma, only to receive hateful comments. Mostly about her being a backstabbing snitch, working directly with warden Jinx. Nopony in the mare wing really knew her, or had any other info on her. Blue even asked a few guards about her, but none of them even acknowledged him.
At about the same time as Blue was doing his investigative work, Violet Ozone and Lucky Strike walked around the prison talking with other inmates. They learned the most known things around the prison. If you need info on anypony, talk to One-Wing. If you need an object stolen from another pony, ask Night Fall. Stay away from Grit. Never release Inferno Flare's horn cuff. If somepony is getting too aggressive, ask Eos for help. That's all they could gather before the dinner bell for the canteen went off.
In the canteen, the 4 reunited to talk again. Blue started the conversation by asking Lucky a question. "So how did you break out of that other prison anyways?"
"Well grab your apple and prepare for a story my multi colored brethren." Lucky started.
"Our story starts with me being arrested and thrown into the Appleloosa Desert Correctional Facility. You spent most of your time sitting in wooden cells, with holes in the walls to talk to your prison mates. Over time, we pasted on a plan though to every prisoner. The plan was too raid the kitchen during dinner. Have unicorns grab all the knifes and forks, while the earth ponies and pegasi defended the canteen. Once all the unicorns had the weapons, we headed out to the yard. Any guard who got in the way was impaled by silver ware. The pegasi worked together to fly earth ponies over the walls, while the unicorns covered them. Once the earth ponies were out, the pegasi moved to the unicorns, and we were home free."
"Wow!" The group replied. They sat in awe at his story.
"You know, I didn't believe you at first, but I really think you did that." Said Night Fall.
"You were able to pull that off but you got caught and thrown into here." Violet said with a smirk.
"Hey, the only reason I got caught was because a zebra ratted me out." Lucky replied, a little irritated.
"Well that's great in all, but Night and Blue haven't told us how they got put into this rat's nest." Violet put in.
Night Fall and Blue Sprint's stories were very alike, given that they were thrown in together. Night Fall started a small crime spree of robbing small restaurants and bakeries in Manehatten. He was almost caught, but he ran into Blue Sprint. He gave Night Fall a place to rest for the night and kept the police of their backs. Unfortunately, the Manehatten police department has more strong minded police ponies than you would think. Night got charged with many counts of robbery and evading police. While Blue was charged for holding a fugitive and obstruction of justice.
Everypony finished their meals in moved through the yard to their cells. The group moved to cell block 4. Grit and One-Wing moved cell block 6. Eos and a bound Inferno Flare moved to cell block 1. They all were put into their cells to sleep, and think about what they've done. All they could hear was the wind howling outside, and the sound of crashing waves on the rocky edge of the Manehatten Coastal Prison island.
Before they could fully go to sleep, they thought it would be good to talk a little more. "So Lucky, do you think we could break out of this place?" Blue asked across the block.
"Yea, just give me some time. I'll probably come up with something in a day or two. Maybe three to a week." Lucky's voice grew low as he finished his sentence.
"You can take as long as you want, we aren't in a hurry." Violet said to relieve Lucky's stress.
"Even if we come up with a plan of action." Night Fall joined the fray. "How are we going to execute it? It's just four of us, Lucky took that prison with every inmate. It's going to be difficult to persuade everypony to work with us. You talk to someone in here and you get your teeth knocked out. And we are out numbered 4 to 100 here with the guards. We stand no chance at escaping unless we get everypony's help or we thin the guard force."
"I have an Idea." Said Blue Sprint. "We do both. You know my skills at telling people to do stuff. Give me some time tomorrow, and I'll make an attempt to persuade some of the ponies in here to, I don't know, kill off the guard force."
"Sound like a plan." They all said together. They said their goodnights and went to sleep. Preparing themselves for the events that would soon unfold.
The morning sun shined through the metal bars of the cell windows. The sound of the usual hoof on metal woke them up. With collective yawns they each got moved to the canteen separately. First was 4-6 (Lucky Strike) then 4-9 (Violet Ozone). The guards grabbed Night Fall and finally Blue Sprint. All moved one at a time. By the time Blue got to the canteen, his friends were already chatting. Blue had a job to do, so he grabbed a tray, got his slop, and sat next to Grit.
Grit sat alone. Grit was feared enough that he got a table all to himself, which surprised him when a yellow and blue earth pony sat next to him. Grit gave Blue a death glare. "What do you want?" He asked with a deep and menacing voice.
"I'm just here to ask a favor." Replied Blue.
"What kind of favor?" Grit's glare grow stronger on Blue Sprint.
"Well I'm guessing you don't want to sit in here for the rest of your life."
"Get to the point!" Grit yelled.
"Ok me and friends are planning a break out!" Blue said quick to avoid dying.
Grit's death glare wore off, he was already falling for Blue's persuasion.
"I'm listening." Grit said puzzled by this pony.
"We are planning a prison break and we need your help." Blue said. "We plan on killing off a lot of guards in a riot, you are one of the most deadly of all ponies in here. We plan on getting Eos and Inferno's help."
"I'm in." Grit said. "But if you cross me, I will not hesitate to END you."
"Ok that's all I needed." Blue said and took off to tell his friends.
Blue sat down next to Night Fall who was talking with the rest. "So do you mind if we all tell our own little back stories as we eat?" Night said. They all agreed.
Violet's was the saddest of the group. She never knew her parents, and she was orphaned in Canterlot. After living most of her life poor and hungry, she swore revenge on the princesses for not helping with the impoverished.
Lucky grew up in a rich family in Manehatten. When his dad went bankrupt, Lucky took the opportunity to become an entrepreneur. He was so good at it that he made a profit by selling nothing. He mostly did it to support his family, but also because he was greedy.
Night grew up happy in Fillydelphia. His parents were bakers. He helped around the shop and everything was nice, but Night was bored out of his mind, and he became a criminal. Robbing bakeries in attempt to make his family's bakery better in comparison. Also because he wanted to rob stuff.
Blue's story was the best. He grew up in the Crystal Empire. His parents weren't crystal, but they lived there. Blue grew up as the most popular in his school despite being a regular pony. After leaving, he went on a tour of Equestria. North, East, South, and West. You name it, he went there. He helped out many ponies in his travels. The one he remembered the most was when he helped a wise old Zebra named Zaka by the Everfree Forest collect frogs.
A captain of the guard showed up as usual to tell everypony to head to the yard. Everypony dumped their trays and headed to their usual areas. Blue told everyone that Grit was in for the riot, but he still need Inferno Flare and Eos. He headed to cell block 1 to ask them for help. While the rest stay by cell block 4 and talk.
Blue trotted his way down the makeshift race track circling the half circle yard, dodging prisoners as he ran. He finally meet up with Eos who was talking with a pegasus. "Eos, can I borrow you for a second." Blue said slightly out of breath.
"Sure." Eos said, waving off the pegasus.
"My friends and I have an idea and we need your help."
"Ok what do you need my help for?"
"We are planning a prison break, and we think you would be very useful for us."
"Ok, sounds like a plan. What exactly do I have to do? You know I'm trying to get out of here on parole."
"I know. I know. All we need you to do is control Inferno enough to where he only attacks the guards."
"Wait. What exactly is this plan?"
"If we have any chance to get out of here, we need to kill off some of the guard force."
"Sounds solid. Just give me the signal."
"I knew you would go along." Blue said as he walked away. He got what he wanted to do, done.
Blue arrived at the table his friends were sitting at, but before a word could be said. A fight quickly broke out by cell block 5. It was from an argument between an earth pony and a unicorn. The earth pony kicked the unicorn in the head. Hitting his horn hard enough to break it off. The severed horn went flying into the air, only to be stopped by a pegasus's eye. The pegasus went into a spin, dazed by his sudden blindness. He crashed head first, right into the table that Night, Blue, Violet, and Lucky were sitting at, coming to a dead stop. The pegasus didn't move a single muscle after impact, and neither did the crew.
After about a minute, a few guards grabbed the newly dead pegasus, and walked away. While the crew sat unfazed by what just took place, knowing it was just a small glimpse of what will happen in the future.

Warden, Romance, and Old Friends
"See what I mean by somepony dies almost everyday ." Said Nightfall. He was finishing his argument with Violet about the worse possible way to die. Violet thought the worst way would be to be burned alive. While Night believe it was to be a victim of an unfortunate accident someone else caused. night has won the argument just a minute ago when a pegasus suffered the same fate described.
It was noon, the time for everypony to go to their respective jobs. Night moved to the garden. Blue trotted his way to laundry. Violet got assigned a job as janitor for the stallion wing. Lucky got assigned a job in the kitchen. Blue while on his why, but was stopped by a few guards. They asked him to come with them, and not to fight. Blue agree.
The guards escorted Blue through the inner halls of the prison. Eventually reaching the main tower, that had the warden's office on top. Blue was brought up a large flight of stairs going up on the outside of the tower. He reached the top and was pushed through the door to be met with a white unicorn with a very black mane. He spoke. "Welcome Blue Sprint. I guess you are wondering why I brought you here."
"That is exactly what I'm wondering... warden Jinx." Blue said with a little fear in his voice.
"Well I have heard that you are wanting to meet my little conditional informant, Crimson Karma." Warden Jinx spoke. Looking out into the mare wing from his large glass windows. "And why might that be?"
"Well the new girl you brought into our wing was talking a lot about her. I just wanted to see if I could find her and chat a bit." Blue said calming down.
"Well that's good to hear, usually when someone wants to meet another in this place. They usually want to kill them." Jinx's voice grew low as he ended his sentence. "You don't want to kill her. Do you?"
"No sir! I just wanted to talk, Violet Ozone was saying some mean things about her, and I just want to find out if they were true." Blue tried to fit his voice into his usual persuasion manner.
"What kind of things was she saying? Care to answer?" Jinx asked. He then motioned for his guards to wait outside the room.
"Violet was saying that Crimson was working with her, and that she was also a snitch."
"Yes, Violet, she always is accusing many of things. But she is not lying about this. Crimson did work with her, and she is our favored informant in this prison." Jinx said as he paced behind his desk.
"Sorry to be rude and interrupt you, but when can I see her?" Blue interrupted.
"Tomorrow at this same time. You may now go. I have a meeting to attend to." Jinx said sitting back into his chair.
"Um, one more thing before I go." Blue said as he started walking out. "Why are we so unprotected in the yard anyways?"
"It's quite simple." Jinx said. "Unlike most prisons, we just get paid by just holding prisoners. If somepony dies, it's only a little drop in income. While a guard costs more to deal with if they are killed."
"Good to know." Blue said has he closed the door behind him. He laughed evilly on the inside.
Night was working next to Rush in the garden, she has a bandage on her wings so she was stuck to the ground. Night used his magic to pick apples while she carried the bucket. "So are you sure you want to help us in this?" Night said to her while he grabbed a few apples off the tree.
"100%. I can even get some of my mares on it." Rush said trying not to worry the dark blue unicorn.
"It's more of a thing for the stallions. Are you sure the mares can handle it?" Night said, still worried about his friend.
"Please, you should see how hard Little Cherry bucks." Rush said, laughing a little.
"Well if you really want to do this. Just do me a favor and don't get hurt again." Night Fall said to Rush very worryingly.
"You don't have to worry about me Night Fall." Rush said walking away with a bucket of apples. Making sure to smack him in the face with her braided tail.
Night Fall had a thing for Rush, but she teased him so much she made it into a game. Using every moment possible to put him down. Besides that she didn't even like him that much.
Blue got done with his job to converse with Violet and Lucky out in the yard at their usual spot. They were talking with Eos about the plan. "So what have you all planned out?" Blue asked as he walked up.
"We plan to start the riot just as soon as dinner ends." Violet said very commandingly. "We will attempt to take out as many staff as possible. Starting with the chief."
"Sounds like a solid plan. I learned from the warden personally that the more guards we take out, the more the prison has to pay." Blue added.
"How exactly did you learn that?" Eos asked.
"You know, just heard it from a little bird." Blue said smiling to his lie.
At that moment Blue could see a familiar face. Across the yard stood a guard both pink and dark purple. Blue stopped his conversation to investigate. He knew this pony. Some time in his adventures he met this guard. As he got closer he could tell who it was. Midnight Reign. Blue stepped up to his right side tapping him two times on his shoulder. "What do you wan..." He stopped mid sentence as he noticed the blue pony in his face.
"BLUE!" He yelled.
"MIDNIGHT!" Blue yelled. The went right into their signature bro-hug to hoof bump.
"Man we need to stop meeting like this. Ponies will start to talk." Midnight said jokingly.
"Hey, old habits die hard." Blue said.
Midnight was an old friend from Blue's journeys. They met just outside the Crystal Empire. Became instant friends just after an unfortunate mix up of luggage on the first train out. They traveled for a while, but got separated many times due to Midnight being bad with maps and timing. They ended up meeting in the most aberrant of ways. From suddenly finding each other on top of a mountain to the back alleys of Manehatten. Now in an island prison.
"What's my purple unicorn been up to?" Blue asked him.
"I should ask you the same thing. Did you just happen to run in here and get stuck?"
"You know this is an island, right?"
"Come on Blue, you know I'm not good with geography." They both laughed.
"But really, how did you get a job as prison guard?" Blue asked.
"Well I ran into a spot of bother with my money. Found a job as prison guard. Now I'm here. What about you?"
"You know me, I can never turn down helping a friend."
"So you helped a criminal rob something or hide from the cops?"
"The ladder."
"I should have guessed." They both laughed again.
"Do you want to meet the guy who got me in here in the first place?" Blue asked. Making Midnight check his watch.
"I just got break. Sure."

Night Fall stood there. Looking at the new guy. He wasn't even a prisoner, but he was a unicorn. That was enough to make Night uneasy about Blue's guard friend. Night Fall circled him like a shark. Observing everything about him. The way his horn was sharp and pointy. The way his eyes matched his mane. Even the way he wore his watch on his front left hoof. " Is there a problem?" Midnight Reign said has Night Fall came to his front.
"Yes. Yes there is..." Night said slowly.
"Well is there a way I can help?" Midnight said a little intimidated by Night's vigilance.
"Yes. You could get away from my friend you scum!" Night yelled in Midnight's face.
"Whoa whoa! Come on Night. I can have more that one friend!" Blue intervened.
Night Fall just stood there puffing smoke out of his nose. Angry. If he didn't know he would get in trouble for doing so he would have kicked Midnight right there. Beat him to a bloody mess. Night Fall's jealousy was at an all-time high, but it was no match for Blue's persuasion. "We have a job to do Night. We need to keep are heads in the game."
"What game?" Midnight jumped in.
"Ummm. No game!" Blue tried his hardest not to sound like a he was lying, but to no success.
"Whoa are you guys planning a prison break?" Midnight asked. "Because I'm totally down for that."
"What?" Night and Blue said together.
"Yea. One of the many things I always wanted to do was do a prison break... even if I am the guard." Midnight assured them.
"Oh. Ok." Night and Blue said together again.
Night Fall and Blue Sprint gave Midnight the details. The riot would start just before dinner. Eos would control Inferno to launch a fire ball at the warden's tower. Alerting most of the guards that Inferno is free again. That will force a lot of guards away from the mare wing. At that point Rush would get her gang to start knocking heads. That will confuse the guards on where to go. Both sides will be in a full assault. In hoped to dwindle the amount of guards to a fraction of what it was. Then the escape will initiate just after that depending on what goes down. "So what do I need to do?" Midnight said.
"I have a special job for you now that you are hear. I had another idea, but you make this plan 10 times easier."
"Sounds good." Midnight replied.
"Prisoner 4-4! Get over here!" A guard yelled. It was time for Blue to go to the arranged meeting with Crimson Karma. Blue had a plan for her. She would become very useful. Midnight volunteered to escort Blue and watch over the meeting. The plan was going smooth. Midnight led Blue to the interrogation room that was the meeting point. A unicorn with a white coat and red mane sat inside. Another guard was also there. The plan might need to be altered due to this unforeseen factor. She greeted Blue when he walked in. "So what was it that you wanted to talk about?" She said in a sophisticated voice.
"I want details." Blue said flatly.
"Excuse me?" She replied.
"What happened with you and Violet Ozone? I hear you have bad blood."
"Well I wouldn't exactly say 'bad blood', but we sure have had problems."
"Word is that you turned Violet in and she is pissed about it. Could you please explain?"
"Well fine. I'll tell you."
Crimson told her story. She was working as an undercover with Violets band of misfits. She turned in a lot of her lackeys without Violet's knowledge. Making sure they got the punishment they needed. Unfortunately, to not get caught Crimson Karma had to do some of the crimes with Violet. Landing her in prison when she finally got Violet. Now she pays the time. She keeps tabs on almost every prisoner.
At that moment the other guard that was monitoring the meeting whispered something to Midnight and left. The plan was going better than originally planned. Blue nodded to Midnight, signaling him to block the door and get ready. "So I have to ask you something." Blue said to Crimson.
"What is it?" Crimson asked.
"How often do you talk to Warden Jinx, and what do you tell him?"
"Every day and everything. Why do you ask?"
"Oh nothing really.... Hit it." Blue said.
"What?" Crimson said.
Before Crimson knew what was happening Midnight pulled her chair out from under her. He quickly barred it against the door. Then he pulled tape out of his jump suit's pocket placing some over Crimson's mouth. He then grabbed her with his levitation and held her against the wall. "I have a proposition for you." Blue said attempting to sound tough.
"We are breaking out of this place, and I want you to join us." Blue said.
Crimson got a questionable look on her face. She was able to get a muffled 'what' out of the tape.
"You know the layout of this place, and that can be useful to us."
Crimson hung there silent.
"However, if you refuse. We will have to take drastic measures."
She first had a worried look on her face, but then it turned angry. She tried shouting at Blue, but the tape stopped her.
Blue nodded at Midnight. Midnight then turned Crimson upside down then dropped her. She landed on the ground head first. Knocking her out. Blue nodded to Midnight again. Midnight then pulled some hoof cuffs out of his pocket. Placing them on Crimson. Blue and Midnight both left. Midnight had Crimson in custody and was moving her to solitary. While Blue moved back to the stallion wing to prep for the up coming riot.
"Is everything set?" Blue said has he walked up to his gang.
"Everything is set and ready? You?" Eos said.
"The horse is in the stable. Hit it" Blue replied.
Eos quickly ran across the yard to where Inferno flare was being held. Controlling him must have been easy. A large fire ball was sent right at the central tower of the prison. The warden's tower. The blast could have been seen from the mainland, yet the tower took no damage. An alarm immediately sounded. Guards quickly started to rush into the stallion yard where they were met with hostility. Grit had already put a guard down before any of the main fight could start. Blue even got a few kicks in. Night Fall was laying down magic support. Violet was dealing with some of the pegasi guards above them. Lucky Strike was hiding under a table... Suddenly some of the guards started to retreat. Rush must have started her side.
Within minutes the body count skyrocketed. Most were guards, while a few were unfortunate prisoners. Blue quickly gathered the others and rushed into the center of the prison. Blue, Violet, Night, Lucky, Eos, and a tamed Inferno all made their way to solitary to meet up with Midnight. Midnight opened the solitary door to let Crimson out. She was instantly put down by Blue and Violet. Demanding to know the way out. Crimson refused so they just grabbed her and kept running.
They made their way into the mare wing to find a fight worth watching. the girls were holding their ground. A little better than the stallions were. The group quickly grabbed Rush and ran back into the prison. Escaping was the only thing on their minds.

"Come on everypony!!!" Blue yelled. Night Fall was behind him. Holding onto Crimson who was tied up by Night's levitation spell. Eos still was in control of Inferno. Lucky was scared as ever. Violet was trying her hardest not to kill Crimson. Rush was... being Rush. They ran up the stairs to Warden Jinx's office. Putting down any guard in their way. they busted through the door with ease. "What is the meaning of this?!" Jinx yelled.
"We're breaking out!" The group yelled together.
"But Blue, you had so much promise." Jinx said try to persuade the blue earth pony.
"Never trust a friendly face. Because a smile will hide lies." Blue said right before he knocked the warden out.
They quickly grabbed the master key and headed back down. They ran through hallway to hallway. Crimson refuse to give them directions. They eventually found their way to the main entrance. Where they were greeted with an armed force of guards. Midnight stood among them. Without hesitation, Midnight turned on his fellow guards. Killing them. They rushed out to the docks in front of the prison. It was night time by then. Even raining.
They started loading into a boat but were stopped by Eos.
"Why are we stopping?" Blue asked.
"My control of Inferno is breaking. I won't be able to hold him for any longer." Eos said struggling.
"We can leave him!" Blue said trying to start the motor boat they loaded into.
"This pony is too dangerous to be let loose. I'm putting him back into a cell." Eos said.
"Agreed, but we won't be coming back to get you." Blue replied.
"I know the risk." Eos said running back to the prison. "Stay out of trouble!"
The crew waved Eos off and started the boat. Midnight then spoke up.
"Can I stay too?" Midnight asked.
"What do you mean? We are almost out of here!" Night said.
"I know, it's just.. I don't want to go to a life of crime."
"Well what are you going to do?" Blue asked.
"Hit me."
"What?
"Hit me! If they find me wounded they will think I tried to stop you. Now hit me!"
"Ok... I'm sorry Midnight." Blue said. He then kicked Midnight in the head. Knocking him out instantly.
"Are we done with the love session? Because the riot has started to die down." Rush busted in.
They couldn't hear any yelling from the yards. No doubt the prisoners have taken control or the guards gave regained order. either way they needed to leave as soon as possible. They got the motor running and were home free. The only thing in their way was the storm above them and rough waters. The waved got worse, but not enough to knock them off. They were home free.
They made it to shore on the mainland. It seemed they weren't followed, but they knew they would be hunted. The group decided on splitting up but also keeping together. They would leave in twos. Crimson didn't like the idea. "No. No. NO!" She yelled.
"I will not live the rest of my life with you.. you.. degenerates!"
"Listen.." Violet said.
"You have 3 options. 1: You can go turn yourself in, and you can go back into a cell. 2: You can be killed by me. Or 3: you can go with Lucky to my place in Ponyville. The choice is yours." Violet said.
Crimson let out a loud grunt and went to stand next to Lucky.
"So everyone know the plan?" Blue said.
"Yep." The group said together.

Oh My God It's An Epilogue
The 6 went their separate ways.
Violet Ozone and Night Fall made their way south to the Badlands. Violet met with her connection in the Changeling Empire. Unfortunately as a tax, Night and Violet were forced to show love for each other to feed the changelings. They didn't like it, but at least they weren't rotting in prison. They lived there for a few months before Night Fall thought it was a good idea to steal something from Queen Chrysalis herself. Luckily they made friends with 2 changelings. Ky and Kee. Who helped them make a run for it...
Lucky Strike and Crimson Karma headed west to Ponyville. Violet's Ponyville safe house was easy to find and they quickly settled in. Months went by. They assumed normal lives. Crimson helped in the hospital, and Lucky worked in construction. They had many disputes about trivial things. Eventually causing a noise complaint to be called. Lucky and Crimson were easily recognized by the police. They were forced to run or be arrested. Running was a lot easier.
Blue Sprint and Rush traveled north to the Crystal Empire. They ended their journey at Blue's parent's house. They settled in easy. Blue and Rush eventually fell for each other. Months went by and they already had a child. Cobalt Indigo. He was a pegasus like his mother, but... he was blind. Not every story ends with a happy ending. They lived day to day. They were finally tracked by the Royal Guard. They had to make a run for it. Blue, Rush, and Cobalt were on a family road trip to remember.
