Luna the Princess of the Night has lived for a long time….She has known love and friendship….but one colt in particular gave her something she found she couldnt live without. Love that is pure is the hardest to forget. Luna learns this tragic lesson and Equestria is thrown into turmoil because of it.

Midnight Rain , a rather large Pegasi colt, made her very being soar with his innocent and pure heart. And before long Luna found herself falling in love with him. For while she was older than any living pony in Equestria besides her sister, she was still for all intensive purposes still just a filly herself. Her magic having been held in check by Celestia's lack of training her to gather more power has resulted in her being far smaller than her sister despite the incredible power she does poses. But one night after seeing the impact not being as strong as shed like to be is having on Luna, Celestia decided to start her training. As time goes on Midnight grows into a breath takingly handsome stallion and Luna having finally been given the training she so deseratly wanted from celestia grows into a beautiful Goddess of the Night, full of its magic and wonders…..And its darkness.

After a few years of being together Luna feels she is ready to announce that she and Midnight will be wed being he had asked her ages ago and been waiting patiently for her answer. But during a monstrous storm, which threatens the entire land of Equestria; Luna is devastated when fate seemingly takes Midnight away from her forever. Losing herself to loneliness and the feelings of no longer being loved or cherished Luna falls into a void of darkness and the being known as Nightmare Moon is born. But fate is not so cruel and Luna will find that Love and Friendship are eternal and nothing….Can stop friendship from shining light into the blackest of darkness..
And Nothing…Not even Death….Can stop one from loving another.
