Belladonna is a unicorn with no memory of her past or identity, found slumbering in the ruins of the old Castle of the Two Sisters. After six months, when the newest princess of Equestria is announced, she meets her and her friends after spending said months in solitude, visited only by the princesses.

But it seems Celestia and Luna know Belladonna's true identity and fear her memories returning. Despite Belladonna being friendly, they know her true nature.
