The Demon and the Princess Part 1-Finding Friends
It was a warm summer day and almost every pony was out enjoying the wonderful day the Pegasus had prepared, all but Snow Glaze a light purple male alicorn with a book cutie mark and an icy blue scruffy mane, no he was in the castle reading. Soon a purple alicorn Princess by the name of Twilight Sparkle came in.
"Glaze what are you doing in here when its such a nice day" said Twilight
"Yeah I'm not exactly and 'outdoors pony' mom. " replied Glaze his face still in the book
"But today is a greats day to be out withe your friends"
The room fell silent
"Why do i feel like I just made this awkward"
"Because I don't really have time to make friends"
sigh"You remind me of me when I was your age "
"Well that's a scary thought"
"Hahaha,"she said sarcastically "very funny. Anyway you know how i made friends"
"How"he said not actually curies just trying to move the conversation along
"My teacher sent my to Ponyville to meet new people and make friends"a large smile of Twilight's Face emerged"As a matter of fact That's exactly what I'm gonna."
"What!" Glaze was now condenser
"I'm sending you to Ponyville to makes some friends"
As Glaze arrived to Ponyville he felt distraught about the whole situation. He wander around town not sure where he was going nor if he would be satisfied when he got their. As he walk through town he used his magic to pull out a book from his saddle bag and began to read. Little did he know a young female gargoyle with blue and gray scales by the name of Talona 'who also had her face in a book' was on a collision course with him.CRASH.
"Hey watch where your going"she said
she then looked up to see a male the male alicorn a look of awe of her face
"OMG it you the guy I've been looking for"
"Whoa! I don't think I'm your type"
"No, I need your help to save Equestria"
she opened her book and showed it to Glaze
"Ok, this book was passed down my family line for Generations, It shows all of the disaster the will occur in our world"[turn page]"from Nightmare Moon"[turn page]"to the return of Tirek and so on".
"This book seems like it would be in better hooves if the princess had it"
"This book states that soon a demon will arise with an evil army and try to kill all of the princesses" Glaze let of a gulp in fear for his mother"But long ago this demon was defeated by The Royal Brotherhood; the king-an alicorn"[turn page]she held the book at him to show him the picture on the page"the knight-an earth pony"[turn page]"the minstrel- a Pegasus"[turn page] "And the wise pony-a unicorn" Glaze said nothing and just look at her.
"And I think you represent the king"
"How can I be the king we look nothing alike except for the fact that we're alicorns"
"Your not the king, you representthe king" "and we need to find the other pony who represent the knight,minstrel, and wise pony in order to save the princesses." "but don,t worry I will be by your side to aid you."
"Oh, so you'll be my assistant."
"I will assist you in your journey." slightly irritated
"So you'll be my assistant."
"Yes."She said flatly
"Great. Well my name is Snow Glaze"
"Talona"
"Now, how do we find these other three ponies"
"Well If the represent the other members of the brotherhood you will have a special bond with them that will tell you if their the right pony."
"Really"
"You now what the say Friendship is-"
"NO"
"Find." "The Magic of Brotherhood."
"I hate you."
As the two warder around town the were having trouble finding somepony Glare had a special bond with. That was until they saw a Neon Green earth pony with spiky Blonde mane and a cutie mark that showed the shadow of a pony leaping of a building, resting on the roof of a house.
"That's him" said Glaze
"The guy on the roof" asked Talona
Glaze nodded "Hey guy on the roof can you come down her for a second."
"Me"Ask the earth pony
"Yeah"
"Ok"
The earth pony jumped to a lower house, dropped from the ledge, landed on a fence, and back-flipped of the fence land in next to the alicorn and gargoyle.
"S'up" he said a cocky smile on his face
the two just stared at him with total silence filling the air.
"I'm Pen Core"
"I-I-I'm Snow Glaze and this is Talona" he pointed to the gargoyle still in shock.
"Nice to meet you, so want did you call me over for"
"Ok, um, this is going to sound really crazy"
One explanation later...
"So you think I represent this knight"
"Yeah like i said crazy"
Pen looked down at the ground processing the new he had just heard
"Ok lets do te other two"
"You- You actually trust me"
"Yeah, I just... I Just fell like i can rely on you." "I don't really know why"
"Magic of Brotherhood" said Talona wait till now to join the conversation Glaze giving her a look that said'you just pissed of the wrong guy'
"So lets go find the others"
The three of them flew up to Clodesdalle (except for Pen who was riding on Glaze's back). When they got their Glaze cast a spell allowing Pen to walk on the clouds. the maid their what to a local music club hoping to find their minstrel. As they looked around they experienced the same problem from earlier he could not find somepony he nor Pen had a special bond with. the traveled all around Cloudsdalle but couldn't find anypony and in disappointment went back Ponyville. At Ponyville they walked in to a talent competition hoping that somepony preference would cheer them up.
"Next up singing a song calledSkulls of my enemy's Rocky"said the announcer who was a white female unicorn with a blue man and purple glasses
A red Pegasus with a black and white wild Rock-star main and face paint around his eyes and a black guitar cutie mark got up on stage
"Its him"Pen and Glaze said in unison
"And he was in Ponyville. So I didn't have to carry you heavy plot up to Cloudsdalle."whined Glaze
After his preference the two went to talk to him.
"Hey Rocky" said Glaze
"Yeah"said the Rock star
"We need to talk"
Another explanation later...
"OK lets do it" Said Rocky
"Wow, really"said Glaze
"Yeah you have one of thouse faces that said 'you can trust me bro'."
"Magic of Brotherhood" said Talona"also how do you play a guitar with hooves"
"Ok let go find are last guy" said Pen
"Oh that,s nice just ignore me"
"This won't be easy and it may take as a few hours"stated Glaze
"Found him"said Rocky
"Oh yeah, that him"
They all looked at a light brown unicorn with a main of Yellow and white twisted in to dreads and an explosion for a cutie mark. They all proceed to walk over to him.
"Hi my name is Snow Glaze these are my friends Pen Core, Talona, and Rocky" said Glaze
"Hey I'm Boomstick"
"All right here goes"
The Last explanation of the day...
"OK. but before we go on this journey I need to worn you about something minor"
"What"
His horn began to glow and an explosion could be heard in the distance
"I like to blow stuff up"
Everypony took a few steps away from him
"Damn."said talon"If that's minor whats major"
"Oh, You wanna see what I call Major"asked Boomstick
"Hell no!!!"all three of them said hoping that they actually had been wrong
"Alright." "So what do we do next"
"Well."said Talona opining her book"Next we need to find the kings crown, the knights blade, the minstrels lute, and the wise ponies cloak. Once we have all of those you will hove the power to stop those demons and save the princesses. So we're going to have to traveler far and wide to reach the-."
"Or we could just talk a train" said Glaze
"OK"
"Great but before we do anything, assistant would you be so kind as to get us some snakes for the trip" he hand ed her his wallet. She said nothing and just stared at him with an 'I'm gonna kill you' face then took the wallet and went to Sugar Cube Corner to get them snacks. After that the 5 heroes hoped on a train and made their way to the first item the kings crown.
