The lively town of Ponyville was not one bit busier today. In fact, for some reason it seemed even more energetic than usual for the two unicorns who strolled down the streets. One of them was ivory, the other pale yellow, a bit like mustard. Their friendly chit-chat, however was interrupted by high pitched squeals becoming louder and louder.
"You can't run, witch! My saint sword can sense you anywhere." a colt yelled, wearing a light, steel armor and a plastic sword of the same color. The steel kept clashing against each other without any rhythm as he chased down a screaming filly with a huge black robe and hat. Soon they ran across the street in front of them the two could continue their small talk.
"Have I said congratulations for your latest collection?" Rarity asked her friend.
"Yes, actually." Agate replied with an awkward grin.
"Then let me congratulate once more." Rarity responded with a sly grin. Soon her little smith friend and her armor appeared, the town was going nuts over them. Almost all the products that was thrown back in Canterlot have found a new owner here in Ponyville. Despite it was pretty much a kick to the face in Rarity's business, the seamstress didn't mind it too much, for she knew the craze will go away as fast as it came.
"Thank you, Rares." Agate responded, and changing her attention to the purple roofed house in front they were approaching. Oh, she couldn't wait meeting the spa ponies again. Long ago was the last time she was here and she felt like she deserved a bit of relaxation, especially after such a tiring day. A smaller yet unbelievably successful fashion show was the last thing she expected to make her this worn out. Of course, her excitement didn't go unnoticed.
"You grew to love the spa despite hating it before." Rarity giggled, as the smith pushed the golden colored door of the complex. Strangely though, it didn't move at all, despite being so easy to just fling it open all the time.
"Hm?" Rarity hummed, as she spotted a little paper attached to the painted wood, reading its contents aloud.
"Closed until further notice."
"Closed?" Agate asked, her voice, like lightning changing to a hopeless and rather frightened tone. Her pupils shrunk just enough to sign she began to fear from something.
"Confusing indeed, let's not assume the worst though." Rarity replied, trying to calm her friend before she might let her emotions on the loose. Little did she know she was already late with that.
"Do you think 'until further notice' as in 'forever'?" She asked, completely ignoring what the other said. She saw these words in other places in Canterlot before, only few of them opened back again.
"I said-"
"Wait, there they're coming, let's ask them!" she cut in, sprinting away towards the two earth ponies of pink and blue. Rarity couldn't help but frown and huff, as shock and frustration washed over her. Crazy it might sound but the smith might have been even more addicted to the spa than her. She followed her, not only because she was also interested what was this all about but because she knew Agate would ask about it before even greeting them. As if the things taught her from the last thing would have been forgotten already.
Agate was fast but they weren't all that far away, so she didn't need to hurry to catch up to them.
"Miss Agate, Miss Rarity, how is your day?" Lotus greeted back to them once they all gathered up in the middle of the street.
"Rather fine dear, how about yours?" Rarity responded before Agate could have the chance to talk. She even gave the mustard coated a stare of disapproval afterwards that, as always, put the unicorn in her place.
"Well, we needed to close the shop for a while, it didn't pass the safety inspection yesterday." Aloe replied, turning her eyes away in embarrassment "A beam appeared to be cracked and we can't reopen until they fix it." she continued.
"My, this is terrible." Rarity said with a worried face. Terrible was indeed, both for them and her. Just thinking about what might happen to her beautiful body if left uncared for Celestia knows how long was enough to frighten her.
"Anything we can help you with?" Agate added, a gesture her friends could witness often. One that could always bring a smile on Aloe's face, even in ridiculous situations like this.
"I'm afraid there is nothing we can do, we have to wait for the repairmare." Lotus responded with a sigh. Miss Fix was known about having a pretty busy schedule, given her fame around town.
"Let us hope it won't last long until you can reopen, until then, best wishes for you girls." Rarity told them, closing the conversation to let the beauticians get back to their own business at once.
"Goodbye, Miss Rarity, goodbye Miss Agate." they replied in their signature collaborative farewell, before both parties went on their ways. Yet something, or better, somepony was off, Agate could hear it.
"Did you hear that too?" she asked the seamstress.
"Hm?"
"Lotus was kinda strange. She sounded so... soulless." the smith pointed it out. She knew, she loved hearing their farewells which burnt into their mind like a catchy song. Something was not the same there.
It was true, now that Rarity thought back about it, the blue sister was indeed behaving rather unusual. She didn't really keep eye contact and was more modest than usual, as if she would've been embarrassed by something. Strange.
"I suppose the massage has to be put aside for later." Rarity explained after a gentle sigh.
"Yeah, we will meet up some other time, then." Agate replied, as the two of them gave each other one last heartwarming smile as a sign of farewell. They parted ways with one another, each heading towards the two opposing sections of the town. Agate didn't want to go home yet, she still needed to buy a few things from stores. She had enough money for that now, it was time to kick back for a bit.
The eastern general store wasn't far, and wasn't big, just a small, simple building with two narrow lanes inside. Its walls had a color so similar to her coat she could pretty much blend into it. Generally, the ponies went down on the one on the left, then came back to the till on the right to avoid confusion and chaos. The two shelves down the rows were packed full with all kinds of things, as one'd expect from a general store. Agate grabbed the red plastic a basket with her mouth and was to make her way down the left side, when something caught her attention.
It was a magazine stand, filled with different kind of issues. One in particular though had a blurred picture of an exotic plant, along with a rather inspiring title on the front cover.
"10 Cheap Do-It-Yourself Spa Recipes for Home."
The unicorn took a closer step as her horn charged up, levitating the magazine closer to take a better look at it. She read it again, and again, and eventually a smug grin grew on her face as she began scratching her jaw. Oh yes, it was definitely time to kick back for a bit.
Arriving home with three grocery bags and a plan, Agate was determined to bring her plan to the next phase. It was time to turn the workshop into a spa... or at least something similar. Her home had just a couple rooms to it, but it was more than enough for her. Though the way said rooms were placed was quite unusual, this didn't bother her in the slightest.
She decided to leave the living room the way it was. The beige room had a couple sofas by the side and a table in the middle, along with a bookshelf by the corner. It also has a cozy fireplace to it on the right. Agate's new home followed the minimalist fashion of her previous one. Simple walls and simple furniture. A narrow corridor lead out to the right now empty garden in the back, but she took her way towards her bedroom.
It was just in front of her, possibly the smallest room in the building. Aside the obligatory bed by the window, it had a nightstand by the side and a tiny wardrobe just in front, on the other end. It was all Agate needed. She put the candles one by one across the room, one on the nightstand, two by the windows and... where should she put the rest was the question. A-ha, she had a small candle holder somewhere around. She turned around and ran to the wardrobe, finding the decorative item laying on its bottom. With a quick charge of her horn, she raised it up, and placed it on the far back of her nightstand as well. Baffled, she began looking around to find more safe places for the candles, but with no success. The room was just not big enough. Agate, however knew well that she had one more place she needed to use candles at, so she did not make a big deal out of it and shrugged it off. First thing first, though, she placed all those beauty products she filled those bags with on the furniture. Next to them she put the magazine she bought.
A little knob and an entrance to the basement was located just in front of the wardrobe, a discovery found a bit late as it was buried deep under the dust before the renovation. The smith didn't let this mess with her plans, though. Stairs led down to a basement of the same beige color that was lit by a single lightbulb. Though Agate needed to turn it on first, which she could do so by pulling a small rope that hung just by the chamber door. With a single click, the whole place was illuminated. A cutout of a square shape about the size of a half pony disturbed its floor, like an empty pool. Its origins were a complete mystery. The first idea was to fill it up with concrete, but then, the unicorn had a much better idea. She turned it into a huge bathtub instead.
She laid down the candles around it, as well as the bag of petals. Aside a great snack, they made a wonderful decoration when flowing on the top of the water. That, and their color fit well with the red curtains on the two sides that hid the shelves and mirrors. The result was more than statisfactionary, she could just only imagine how relaxing this whole place is going to be in the end. That was all she needed to do down here, now all that was left was inviting the ponies to test it out.
She went back upstairs to start off writing the letters of invitation. A paper, a pen, and a bit of magic, and the words already poured on the paper like tsunami. Her plan was perfect. With her transforming her cozy home to a makeshift spa she could raise a bit more income both for herself and her friends. Plus, she could help them flourish the friendship between them. Oh, she couldn't wait to put all these to the test.
Meanwhile at the Day Spa, worrying news were spreading.
"Yeah, it's cracked, I think we'll need to replace the whole thing." A light brown unicorn mare told the two beauticians from above. She climbed down the wooden ladder she was standing on, step by step, being extra cautious not step on or trip over her off-white mane. Quickfix was one of a kind mechanic. She was fast, her magic was strong enough to lift wagons, and she knew how lots of things worked. Be it clocks or pillars, you could rely on her and her little crew.
"How much time it will take to change it, Miss Fix?" asked Lotus, fright filling her eyes completely.
"A day or two perhaps and you can get back to business." the unicorn explained "You girls are lucky, if that thing breaks the whole west part comes down." she added in a serious, almost scolding manner. Only thinking about that put the nerves of the sisters to the edge. The ceiling could have come down and crush any of them behind the counter if that'd have happened. How long did they risk their lives this way without even knowing? Weeks? Months? Years?!
"I'll tell the guys to begin here tomorrow. Don't hang around here too long, alright?" Quickfix ordered just the same way as before. Both Lotus and Aloe nodded with hums. They understood all risks that were at stake now.
"Great, now let's get out of here." the unicorn hurried them out of the building. The less time they spent there, the better it was. Lotus locked the door behind them and stepped back. Two farewells later the beauticians also decided to head home, a place that was just nearby. Both of them were worried, hoping the building won't give up just before repairing. That'd be the end of both of them. Arriving home, though, Aloe spotted something strange.
"Huh? We got mail?" she asked, gazing towards their postbox just by her right. The little flag was pointing proudly upwards, letting the gentle wind blow over its textile.
"It was like that since this morning, no? Maybe I forgot to turn the flag back down." Lotus wondered. She didn't quite remember, just very faint memories could surface in her mind. Aloe didn't waste time thinking, though, she opened the mailbox and took out its contents. A letter. They did receive something in the end. Curious.
"It's from Miss Agate." Aloe shouted with joy, turning back to her sister, then towards the letter. She was so excited in a sudden, she just wondered what it might be. They went inside, Lotus first, to take a closer, more private look at the message.
Aloe ripped the case up with her mouth, letting the torn piece drop as she took out the paper found inside. The more she read, the happier and more excited she became.
"She wants us to try the spa she made out of her home. She says she'd let us use it until our own spa is repaired." Aloe shouted with a wide smile. What a pleasant surprise, and what was even more exciting that she could only guess how she did that.
"But we'll be only closing for a day or two." Lotus replied. She had a point, but that didn't change the mind of her sister one bit.
"I know, but still, isn't this so kind of her?" the pink one asked back, letting out a squeal from between her teeth as she kept trotting in place. Agate could always surprise this two with her generosity and crazy ideas, like the one roughly a week ago.
"Yes." Lotus answered, gazing towards the floor. Melancholy engulfed her mind and body once more, as the memories resurfaced once again... 'those' memories.
"Sister, is something wrong?" Aloe asked, her voice dripping with worry. Unnecessary question it was, for the answer was clear as crystal. Lotus didn't even try to hide it anymore, she might just as well confess.
"Remember last week when Miss Rarity and Agate and us... you know, at night?" she asked, her voice starting to tremble along with her body. Aloe nodded, how could she forget that sensation.
"I always wanted to keep my... virginity. You know they say what makes lotuses beautiful is that they don't get muddy when blooming." she whimpered, the flood almost breaking through her cheeks. Oh no. Aloe's nightmare becoming reality was imminent. She didn't want to see her sister cry, she could just not stand it.
"But now... I can't. I am filthy." she broke down in tears, gasping for air as she tried to fight back the flood, sobbing ever so quietly. In a sudden, two loving arms wrapped around her neck, embracing her and holding the mare thigh.
"Shh, it's all going to be okay." Aloe calmed her, stroking her hoof along her sister's mane to the to calm her and prevent the disaster. All her efforts was in vain.
"I just want it back!" Lotus shouted, as she collapsed upon her sister's embrace, her tears pouring restlessly as she cried without any sign of stopping.
Aloe knew spirituality meant a lot to her sister, but she never thought it means this much. Lotus wanted to be beautiful and pure, but with one bad decision she lost it all. Now she could never live up to her name. The younger sister gently brushed the mane of her older one on and on, just listening and soothing her. Just a few seconds it all took, but Lotus was stopping. Big ponies don't cry, and she was one of them. She still had trouble inhaling without smaller gasps but she started to calm herself down. Her eyelids all red and puffed up, she couldn't help but try to ease the burning feeling by rubbing her hooves against them.
"I'll tell Miss Agate about it, you don't need to come if you don't want to." Aloe calmed her, her sister sipping and nodding mildly as she rid herself from the remains of her tears. It was best if she was left alone for now and both of them knew that well.
As Aloe headed back towards the door, she turned around one last time.
"We'll find a way, I promise." she told her sister. Her eyes were gleaming from hope and trust, they were simply amazing to gaze at. Yet the next second, they were shielded as the pink mare turned and left in almost complete quiet. Silence remained, the calming and beautiful silence. A burning sensation of hope spread across Lotus' body, a feeling the mare embraced, holding to it like it was her dear life.
The sun hid behind the landscape by that time. Aloe paced down the streets fast, the letter scrolled up and pinned between her right ear and her head. She took it with her just in case she forgets the address Agate sent them. She was excited, curious, and a bit frightened. Her feelings kept growing the closer she got to her destination: the cursed Hay Row 13. The curse of that place was nothing but a silly rumor of course. Yet still, so many actually feared it in this town, so many times she has heard about it that she couldn't help but feel rather uncomfortable with the though. On the outside, it hardly looked any different than any normal house of Ponyville.
For there was no doorbell, she decided to knock instead. For nopony's surprise, it was opened by none other, than Agate herself, who also cheered up seeing her friend.
"Aloe!" she shouted, but her happiness turned into curiosity the next second "Where is Lotus?"
"Oh. She couldn't come, she is busy with something." the pink pony lied with an awkward expression. Worst lie ever. She actually was scared that the smith is going to raise suspicion, but Agate just shrugged it off like nothing.
"Oh well, more time for us then, come in." the unicorn told her, stepping out of the way and letting her friend in first. Then, like it was made of glass, she closed the door with her left hoof.
Agate closed the door behind them, but let the beautician admire the place for a little while... the floor especially. Though some fear were still seen in Aloe's eyes, it was not hard at all to guess the reason.
"Don't worry, the floor is perfectly stable." Agate chuckled, clopping her right hoof on the wood. She knew well it was about the 'curse' on her home, she had to endure a storm of questions about it this morning already. Aloe was also quite surprised that the smith knew exactly what she was thinking about, but Agate's words reinforced the belief in her mind.
She made her way towards the middle of the room with her friend, being extra cautious regardless. She took a second looking at the play of beige and brown just a little longer.
"So, what do you want to try first?" Agate questioned, almost bursting out in excitement "I've got a bunch massages, hot bath, a sauna."
Aloe couldn't really grasp that completely. The massages and the bath she understood but a sauna? Maybe it was best if she doesn't know, though, for some reason it sounded rather dangerous. The therapies interested her much more.
"How about a massage first." Aloe suggested, despite her answer sounded like a question. She just didn't want to be a bother to Miss Agate, since this should be going the other way around. It was usually her who gave the client the massage, and this role reversal was just too strange to her. On the other hand, she wanted to see her friend happy, after all she went through to do this.
Agate chuckled, and signed the earth pony to follow her into her bedroom. A gorgeous room with lavender walls, illuminated by candles welcomed them. Aloe was beyond words. So beautiful, relaxing, sensual. Agate's bed has been pampered out, set like it was brand new and hinted with a couple rose petals. Cliché they were but effective still.
Aloe was more interested by the products on the shelf just right to it, though. With a curious expression she strolled over to it to take a better look. One of it was a jar that had a simple strawberry label on its side, probably for jam. Yet what was inside was anything but strawberry. It was some kind of light green, salt-like material, filling in the glass completely.
"What, is this actually?" she asked with a voice of distaste and confusion.
Agate followed her, and with a quick charge of her horn, she raised the jar, taking off its red metallic top with a popping sound. She didn't answer just smelled it a little bit, then levitated it over to her friend to make her repeat the action. She even shook the glass a tiny bit to let more the aromas brake free as the beautician took it all in.
"Lime?" she asked, bringing her head back a little bit to exhale, then back over the jar for another shot "Maybe mint?" she added. Whatever it was it smelled good, very good.
"Mhm. It's hoof soak with lime and mint. We could start from bottom to top and get you all pampered. What do you say?" Agate suggested, putting back the jar into where it belonged.
Aloe nodded and hummed in delight. Whatever Agate was planning sure was to be good and exciting. She started to get used to the feeling of being on the receiving side, and it felt good. What felt even better, though was the thought that it only began now.
"I'll go get the bucket then." Agate told her, turning around a storming out the door.
'B-bucket?' the shocked Aloe repeated. Though for a second thought, it was sort of reasonable. After all, they had not one but two pools just for that over the spa, and Agate had, well, nothing.
The things the smith have done to them... if only she knew a way to thank her and Miss Rarity all their generosity. Ever since the time Agate helped them out in the Spring Spa Weekend two weeks ago, she has been having these feelings towards them. The overwhelming gratitude transformed into something much more powerful. But she dared not to confess them to anyone. She kept living in denial, but she did not want these feelings to go away. It was just so wrong, so very wrong.
The door swung open once more, the unicorn carrying a big red bucket she laid on the ground. It was not even filled to half, but had nice, warm water in it, not hot enough to make it steam yet, just warm enough to make it comfortable. Her horn engulfed itself with her amethyst aura once more, as she picked up the jar. Then, she poured just a bit of its contents into the liquid, just the way she'd use the salt. She swirled it around with her hoof a couple times before the powder dissolved, then let the pink pony take her place.
It was so warm, and the gentle scent of lime just made it even more relaxing to the senses. All Aloe needed now was to wait.
"You know, it is probably better with just you and me, I'm not sure." Agate stated, her cheeks becoming rosy as she began scratching her left hoof with the right one. She looked away from Aloe, for she knew what she was to say might be quite awkward.
"You know, you two got a special place in my heart. I have been feeling it around Rarity too, but not as intensely as in the spa. I don't really know how to describe it. I'm just happy to have you in my life and it'd never be the same without you."
Aloe's cheeks turned red hearing that. As Agate gazed back at her, right into the eyes, this strange feeling just got even stronger. The beautiful purple and the gentle blue irises stared at one another for long seconds, unmoving. Aloe was paralyzed, she didn't know why but she simply couldn't look away. The gentle gradient, and the way the light played on them, it was too fascinating. Hypnotizing even. Agate, however, knew this feeling all too well. She has been lost in Rarity's similar azure eyes so many times, but this time, it seemed different. Different, yet at the same time, similar. Was this how it felt like... being in love?
"I- I think this will be enough." Aloe stuttered, turning away with a quick move "Is there a towel here?" she asked, looking around in search for one.
"Yeah, a moment." Agate jumped in realization, flinging up the chamber's door and hurrying down the stairs. A... chamber? Aloe was not sure what surprised her more; the fact that there was a basement here accessible from the bedroom, or that it went completely unnoticed to her during all this time. It gave off a feeling that was not right on many levels. Agate came back with the towel she promised, helping her friend drying her hooves.
"Now we give them a good massage. Poor sweeties sure got tired of all that standing and working, no?" Agate whispered in a soft, almost seductive manner towards the mare, as she escorted her to her bed. She brushed aside a few petals with her magic and helped her lay down Aloe's fragile little body.
Agate took off another, much smaller jar with a content very much like the previous one. It was a scrub with similar minty smell. She rubbed her hooves together to give them some heat and took a bit of the powder, heading to the left side of the bed.
"First, the ones in the front." she said, taking Aloe's left hoof and starting to rub the homemade product in. It was just a gentle touch first, to have the mare get used to the feeling.
The tiny, rough crystals scattered across Aloe's hoof as Agate massaged it. Her moves were gentle, to the left, then to the right, as if she'd try to calm an upset filly. It was indeed calming, and gave a beautiful sense of cooperation. Agate then changed her ways, focusing on the underhoof. She felt those beautiful, round lines and the soft inner cup against her, grinding the scrub between their limbs.
"So, how does it feel?" she asked in a low, seductive sound, just the way Aloe asked for the first time.
"Good." she replied, yet her voice was still riddled with tension. Letting go of the left hoof, Agate began massaging the right one exactly the same way.
Aloe didn't know when or where did her second best client learn this, but she could care less. She just immersed herself in the sensation given to her. It was good, so good... too good. The wonderful smell, the gentle touch, the soothing lights were all, but easing her mind. She felt something else, a strange affection to them, but her mind could not accept this. This left frustration and embarrassment, things her masseur could see on her face as clear as crystal.
"Just relax, close your eyes and let me take care of the rest." Agate calmed her, petting her hooves as she gazed deep into Aloe's eyes. The amethyst was heartwarming, yet Aloe didn't look at them for long. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath as her partner let go of her limb.
It was time for the hind hooves now, and Agate decided its best to rub her hooves together again and put on some more of the scrub on. Aloe's legs were squeezed against each other, but not for very long. The smith took the one on the right and pulled it up in the air gently.
Aloe could feel the air pouring into the area around her nethers, and that set her nerves on fire even more. Her inhales became bigger and heavier. She was actually aroused now, that was no question, question was how long she can hide it anymore.
The smith began making gentle strokes with her hooves along her friend's. One was massaging the inner side while the other was taking care of the top. She did it so easily, so gently, and the passion in her eyes and her smile was ever so intense. Aloe could not help it, her nose couldn't supply her brain with enough oxygen, and she was in desperate need for it. She started breathing through her mouth, her eyes closed still. Every fiber in her mind focused on holding back her feelings but she knew it is a lost cause. The insatiable itch between her legs just grew stronger and stronger, carving to be touched.
Agate kept massaging that one hoof with all her passion, yet with every stroke on her thighs her hoof traveled just a little bit lower, enough to be noticed. Her expression was not loving and affectionate anymore, it was devilish and sadist, despite she didn't even move a muscle. It was as if she knew the torture the earth pony went through and pushed her off the edge stroke by stroke. A strange, oddly luring scent hooked her nose from beneath the peppermint, one she knew well for she could recall it from last time. The smith couldn't have been more satisfied, that beautiful smell was the proof how well she worked.
She let go of Aloe's right hoof and began massaging the last one. Before that, though, she decided to lower the finished one to the side to give her the chance to take a look at something. She peeked at it from the corner of her eyes while walking from one side of the bed to the other.
Ah, yes, Aloe's sweet spot. It winked with life, breathing in and out, emitting a bewildering smell. The little light the candles made dancing on its slightly wet surface as it did so. Even just looking at it turned the unicorn on completely. Her mouth began salivating like mad, she was longing for a taste. It was a miracle she could hold herself. She had one hoof left, but even then she couldn't just jump into it.
Aloe's exhales started to summon sounds now, tiny, barely audible little moans. She shut it, she mustn't let Agate know, it was just too embarrassing. The succubus knew it all, however, and she loved every moment of it. She caressed that one last hoof with all her love, giving it a good rub from all sides. The scent was driving her insane, she couldn't resist much longer.
"You smell so nice, Aloe." she moaned. The beautician's eyes shot open from shock, her cover was blown. Agate knew it all now. She had to deny it some way or another. Agate took the deepest of breaths, letting it fill her nose and lungs. Oh, she was lusting for partner so much, she decided to tease herself just a bit more with her tail. Though held up high by nature when aroused, Agate still had just enough control over it to let some of it brush her nethers. She swept it to the left, then to the right. Just a light a touch of a feather all it was but it sent the unicorn to heaven and back each time her tail passed by.
She couldn't help but bite her lower lips in pleasure. Agate could take it no more, she wanted her more than she wanted to breath. The masseur let go of the mare's legs, taking the towel and cleaning them each, not leaving one bit behind. She needed not to look, her magic did the whole thing for her so she can keep the eye contact with Aloe. Her expressions were completely different by now. Aloe looked embarrassed beyond red, slightly frightened even, yet Agate's gaze was intimidating and lustful.
She hopped on the bed, climbing it like a panther, going for its prey. Agate felt like a completely different pony in bed. She was nice but had trouble holding herself which always ended up in her being quite pushy. The unicorn made it up to her muzzle, but unlike Aloe expected, it wasn't a forced kiss.
"I love you so much, Aloe." she moaned her confession almost effortlessly. She made it look so easy, as if she wouldn't even mean it, Aloe was envious. The ball was in her court now, but the words just didn't want to come, only letters of it. Her body was shivering of fear, she couldn't admit it no matter how safe it was for her.

"What do you mean?" Lotus asked, as she raised an eyebrow over the confusing statement.
"Different ponies think differently about what virginity means, you know. Some think it's that thin piece of skin or something inside you that rips away once one enters you." Agate continued "I remember mine breaking in an accident, I freaked out a little bit because, well, I was bleeding."
Lotus just listened, her eyes wide and her ears perked up completely. She didn't know where Agate was going with that but she was eager to listen, she was curious.
"Then there are ponies who think it's when you have sex for the first time. When you're really klutzy and all that. Though, in my opinion, that sex is like an unicorn using her horn. Don't do it for a long time and you totally forget how it works." Agate explained, pointing at and rubbing her horn a little bit.
Lotus' pupils widened. She understood it now, and Agate was right. Just because she had an encounter with Rarity didn't mean she can't get back what she lost over time.
"See? Mud is just earth, sister, it dries with time and crumbles into dust, eventually falling off." Aloe added as a symbolic translation.
"Yes... yes, you are right." Lotus added, as her eyes started to fill up with water. She couldn't believe it, but they were right. She was so blind all along, blind due to the melancholy and depression. Her heart flooded with hope as she knew all she needs to do is wait. She was somewhat filthy still, but she knew well that in time she'll be blooming into a beautiful flower again.
"No matter what point you stand from, I doubt you lost anything. After all, you just used your hoof to please yourself." Agate pointed out. That was the last thing the beautician needed to hear. Lotus' eyes couldn't handle the tears, all the while her heart couldn't handle to joy and gratitude towards the smith.
"How could I have been such an idiot? Thank you, Miss Agate. Thank you so much!" she whimpered as the two united in a warm embrace. Aloe was on the verge of tearing up just from the sight of it. As the two let go of one another a couple moments later, Lotus wiped her tears with a relieved exhale. She still looked rather regretful, one could see it in her eyes. Something was still wrong.
"I hope Miss Rarity is not holding a grudge because of it." she said.
"I doubt it, she didn't even bring it up since it happened. I'm pretty sure she's over it now." Agate explained, scratching her chin as she tried to recall something about that Rarity might have told her.
"I still think it is best if I apologize." Lotus replied. Agate wasn't trying to stop her, of course. She knew it is always best to come clean out of these things than letting the guilt plague you later. This especially applied to Lotus who was so fragile in the inside.
"Well then, let's go to Rarity's!" Agate shouted in agreement. Things were to get back to normal soon now and she simply couldn't wait for it to happen. All she wanted was getting over this mess already. She didn't hesitate, but lead the way out in a hurry, the twins following her just behind.
Rarity laid down the crimson fabric in her table, smoothing out its creased surface with her hooves. Her orange rimmed glasses levitated up from the table, landing gently on her nose. She set the textile to its intended place then with a flick of her magic she turned on the sewing machine. It's ever repeating noise didn't break her focus, in fact, it helped her getting into a specific trance of focus. Yet just as said trance was to make its presence, the faint sound of knocking interrupted her. With the same quickness she turned it on, she put the machinery to halt. She stared at the door from the corner of her eyes, ears pricked up, waiting for another sign, but nothing happened. Might be just her imagination. After a small hum, she reached for the big knob on the side of the metal apparatus. Yet just as her hoof performed the twist, the sound returned, much louder this time.
"Come in!" she shouted, laying back her limbs on the fabric to keep it under control while working on it.
"Told you she won't hear it if you don't bang on it." a voice mumbled from her right, one she recognized well, especially after that loud "Hi Rares!" afterwards. It was Agate again, and by the sound of it, she brought friends.
"Good morning Miss Rarity." two other voices greeted her. She recognized those as well. Out of courtesy, she turned off the sewing machine to talk to them face-to-face for at least a little bit. Though she was busy, she always could sacrifice a couple minutes from her work to her friends.
"Aloe, Lotus, Agate, what a pleasant surprise." she responded, though her style made it hard to tell if she was being sarcastic, or she was legitimately surprised.
"Lotus wants to tell you something." Aloe said out of the blue. Too soon.
"Though if you're busy, we don't want to bother you with it." Lotus added, trembling from the fright and nervousity. She hoped they could at least chat a bit beforehand not jump straight into it. Her legs were shivering, her body was sweating, and her pupils were shrunk just enough to make her fear notable.
"Not at all, really, I'm just sewing a bit. Go on, I'm listening." she replied, turning back to her table and continuing her work, her ears all set on the talk while her eyes glued to the fabric.
Lotus was shaking to the bone and marrow, but she just had to get this off her chest.
"I, uh, about the little... 'midnight session' in the spa last week, I am so sorry, I just couldn't handle myself, I didn't know what happened to me." she confessed with a bad stuttering. She didn't dare to look, she was way too scared of how the seamstress is going to react. In that lightning strike of a time, endless thoughts swarmed her mind about the possibilities. They were almost endless, most ranging from terrible to catastrophic.
"Oh, darling, it's absolutely- WHAT?!" Rarity screamed up, turning back her head towards the beautician. It took her a second to comprehend it but it just made the impact even larger. Chaos engulfed her head as she found herself losing control over both the fabric and her body. Her horn charged up as quick as lightning, turning the whole thing off to put an end to this madness. With that over though, another kind of madness could take place.
"How do you know about this?!" she roared, strolling towards the beautician. Her steps were no different from the usual, yet each of them felt like an earthquake that was blasting through the room. It was a nightmare becoming reality.
"Because she was there with us?" the smith questioned with a strange expression.
Rarity was freaking out. Her mind already wrote the whole thing down as just a dream, she couldn't believe them, she simply was unable to. "No, no, no, that couldn't have been real, it was just a dream." she shouted, shaking her head. However, as she saw the others looking at each other with an awkward grin, she had to cope with the facts. It was not a dream.
"Oh no. Oh no. Oh no." repeated Rarity, pacing around the room in the circles. Neither Aloe, Lotus, nor even Agate didn't know what to do now. They could do nothing but watch Rarity doing circles over and over, staring at the floor as she kept biting her lip from time to time.
Something needed to be done, though, and Agate was bold enough to take the risk of a reassuring sentence "Don't worry, nopony else knows about this just us.".
"What do you mean, 'don't worry'?" Rarity shouted up. She broke the circle, heading straight towards Agate and putting her muzzle up to the unicorn's. The despair was so intense in her blue rims Agate was frightened, yet she wondering when will her friend drag in the couch again.
"You know what happens with my reputation if they find out I'm a fillyfooler? Don't you know how much Ponyville loves rumors like this?" she kept bombarding her friend with questions. It was Lotus who interrupted her before she could eat her friend alive like a shark.
"We are going to tell nopony, I promise." she swore, an emergency plan she her mind came up with in that very second.
"You're telling nopony?"
"Nopony."
"You promise me you bring this up to nothing sentient in Equestria?"
"Our lips are sealed and zipped, Rares." Agate vowed as a final word. It seemed to tame the ivory beast, as she took a couple steps back to get herself some room, much to the relief of the others.
Rarity was still nervous, she still had a hard time to come in terms with the facts. Regardless, she knew she could trust their friends and that was all that mattered right now. Only now did the realization that she slept with a mare hit her, but she tried to take it in a way others won't notice. After all, she hardly remembered what exactly happened by now, just fragments about Lotus and her, and some candy game in the pool. All she needed was just some more time and she'll surely forget about the whole thing.
"If it helps, I can give back Miss Rarity's virginity too, hypothetically of course." Lotus said, trying to calm her some more and break the almost tangible tension that was still in the air.
"I'd be most grateful, dear." the seamstress chuckled, letting out a satisfied sigh.
"It's not like a first time with a stallion is similar to a first time with a mare, trust me." Agate added, trying to sound smart and professional about the matter "Speaking from experience here."

It took her a full second to get what she just said, and text thing Agate noticed was everypony's disturbed face around looking at her. Rarity's left eyebrow raised up, Aloe's mouth covered by her hooves in shock, and Lotus' jaw left open as the three of them stared at her, frozen solid.
"This might have been a bit too much information." Rarity commented, the beauticians humming along in approval.
"Anyway, we're done I guess, everything is cleared up." the smith cheered up with much relief and a pinch of awkwardness. The problem has been resolved, at last.
"We are getting back home then, I want to see how Miss Quickfix and her crew is doing." explained Aloe in an attempt to get away from the topic as fast as she could.
"Alright then, have a nice day, girls." Rarity bid farewell.
"Goodbye Miss Rarity, goodbye Miss Agate."
Lotus and Aloe waved for a couple moments, then turned around and left the room. As the two closed the door behind themselves, only the smith's strange hum coming from behind that sly grin was heard. Her eyes were closed as if she was looking at the sun, and she couldn't resist but shiver and wiggle her tail. Rarity could tell she was to burst out in joy in any given second. She could see why, though, those last words of the twins were making a perfect melody. Agate surely liked them a lot, and she couldn't blame her.
However, there was one more thing she needed to make clear now after hearing her friend's little slip-up. She had an eye for tiny details like this, and the memory to recall them even if they were from weeks ago. She could put the picture together with ease now, all she needed to do was make sure she got the right one. She waited for the tiny bells of the front door to ring up in a distance, and only then did she pop the question.
"You know if either Twilight or Cadence finds this out, you're dead, right?" she whispered towards the mare who was just staring at the door in front of them.
"Mmm-hmm." Agate replied, her hums being long and filled with satisfaction, as if she wasn't even paying attention. Then, as she snapped back into reality, a question appeared in her mind she always wanted to ask. A question about something she was longing to try ever since she saw them.
"Hey can I try on your sexy glasses?" she gasped, turning towards her ivory friend.
"They're not- ugh." Rarity attempted to scold her, but she gave up knowing it's no use. She planted her head into one of her hoof as she sighed. Then, as they were nearby, she took off the orange rimmed accessory and handed over it to her friend. What was it with Agate and these glasses she had not the faintest clue, but she surely couldn't see what were so 'sexy' about them that she had to add this adjective all the time.
Agate didn't hesitate to put them up. The morphed and blurry view was all but usual for her, but she clearly enjoyed this new experience very much.
"How do I look?" she asked in excitement.
"Atrocious." Rarity replied with a cunning smile.
"Oh come on! I feel so hot in these. How about now?" she asked, lowering her glasses down on her nose and giving Rarity the most seductive look she could. It was all for nothing though, Rarity just rolled her eyes accompanied with a gentle shake of her head. Her horn engulfed itself in its signature blue aura as she took back what was hers and put it on herself. Returning to the sewing machine to continue her work at once, Rarity was glad everything has been resolved.
Agate on the other hand just sighed, and strolled after her.
