Author's Note
This story was inspired by a dream I had a few days ago, enjoy.
Still vs Gilda
"We've been over this over five times, Miss Gilda. You can't just leave my students hanging on the flag pole by their underwear," Principal Celestia explained to the delinquent known as Gilda. However, Gilda didn't care in the slightest. "Yeah yeah, can you just write me up so I can get back to enjoying my Friday?" Celestia rubbed her temples in frustration, Gilda was by far one of the densest students she'd had the displeasure to deal with every week and she was reaching her limit. "Just... get out of my office, I'm not in the mood to deal with you today so just go eat lunch and stay out of trouble." Gilda shrugged her shoulders and got out of her seat. "Letting me go scot-free? Your such a flatterer Celly," Before Celestia could retort Gilda left, Celestia shook her head and exhaled a stressful breath. "Some people never change, I suppose..."
Still Waters was enjoying lunch the way she always did, simply reading from her novel in peace. No one ever talked to her yet everyone always wondered what went on inside her subconscious. Even I, the narrator, had no idea what she was thinking and her perfect poker-face didn't help. She wore a Megadeth jacket and baggy jeans with black sneakers, her skin tone was aqua blue and she had short cobalt hair with a white streak going down her bangs. Her hair was mostly hidden by her hood but the bangs revealed she had straight, spiky hair with green eyes that added to her mysterious aura. To most of the guy populous she was cute but she seemed out of their league, and the girl populous paid no attention to her since she never spoke.
"Hey, you in the ugly jacket," Still Waters looked up from her book to see the infamous Gilda smirking at her. "Yeah you, all quiet on the western front, you're in my seat." Still Waters simply went back to her book, her face unchanged.
"Hey bitch, I'm talking to you!"
"Hey, you can't just pick on her like that!" A new face stormed over and took Still Water's side, her savior was identified as Pinkie Pie much to Gilda's displeasure. Pinkie was always the Batman to her Joker, saving the victims of Gilda's wrath when she could and Pinkie's usually the one who wins in the end which infuriated Gilda, not to mention she couldn't touch her with the Principal on her side.
"And what the hell are you doing here, gonna ruin my fun like you always manage to do?"
Still Waters stood up and closed her book, her face sporting a new emotion, slight agitation. She faced Gilda who in return sneered at Still Waters. "What are you looking at, ugly cun-"
'Slap!'
The entire cafeteria went dead silent, Gilda slowly raised a hand to feel her cheek to confirm what just happened. "Did you just-"
'Slap!'
Still Waters struck her other cheek with a loud slap, the entire cafeteria gasped excluding Still and Gilda. "You're dead, meat. DEAD!" Gilda readied her right hook.
'Ahem.'
Gilda froze stiff and slowly turned around, looking at Principal Celestia's angry expression.
"Really Gilda? Picking on the innocent miss Waters?"
"B-but it's not my fault, she-!"
"Come see me in my office, Gilda." She groaned and turned back to Still. "This ain't over, meat. We're settling this after school, and if you don't show I'll find you!" Still used her finger to pull her lower eye lid down and stuck her tongue out at her, Gilda growled at Still's taunt.
"Gilda, my office now!"
"I'm going, I'm going!" Gilda stomped off with Celestia, leaving a pale Pinkie and an indifferent Still who quietly sat back down and continued her reading in peace.
"Hey, Still, um, I know you're not gonna answer me but are you really going to fight with Gilda? I mean, not to be offensive but she's Gilda and you're... well, you."
Still closed her eyes in what one would assume to be deep thought, after a few moments she stood up and nodded to Pinkie then walked away.
"Y-you're actually going to fight her!?" The entire cafeteria gasped at what Pinkie just shouted, Still simply half-turned her head to look at Pinkie, nodded yet again and continued her walk. Saying you wanna fight Gilda is like saying you wanna destroy an adamantium wall with your flaccid penis, sure you can try but in the end you'll just be sore all over and possibly end up in a doctor's office if you're not to keen on the words 'give-up'.
Celestia's Office[/hr]
"Still Waters is going to what!?"
"That's what I heard, Still Waters has accepted Gilda's challenge and will be fighting after school," Vice-principal Luna said with a nervous tone. Celestia was in a state of denial, no one ever wanted to fight Gilda willingly and the ones who were unwilling were... well, they've seen better days. "This is bad, Still Waters is such a quiet girl and hearing she's going to practically get herself killed by Gilda of all people..."
"From what you're telling me this Gilda girl sound like a complete brute," Luna rudely stated.
"Lulu, for your own safety I must ask that you never say that again, now getting back to the point at hand... I'm afraid there's nothing I can do-" Celestia skimmed through her book of rules and showed Luna a page, "-I can only interfere if it's during school hours, and even if that rule didn't exist I still have to attend a meeting at a teacher's conference... I'm afraid my hands are tied." Celestia closed the book and rubbed her temples. "We can only hope for a miracle to happen."
Elsewhere[/hr]
"Still, you gotta listen to us, there's no way in hell your going to win!"
Still simply nudged Rainbow Dash's hand off of her shoulder, staring at her with the same stoic face she always had. Trying to read Still's face was like trying to read a bowl of rice, it was physically impossible and the only thing you will get out of it is making yourself look like a complete idiot.
"Rainbow's right, Still, the only thing you're doin' is rustlin' up ah hornet's nest," Applejack explained, but Still only shrugged her shoulders.
"Look, Still, I think I know that you're angry, and if you are, then just let it go. Trust me when I say I know what it feels like to want payback, but in the end revenge is never the answer," Sunset explained to Still, who then looked upward in contemplation. After a few moments of thinking Still started walking away without returning a single gesture.
"So... are you still going to fight G-Gilda?" Fluttershy nervously asked, Still half-turned to look at Fluttershy and nodded.
"Alright look, if you're really so determined to go and get yourself maimed then at least let us help!" Rainbow shouted, but Still just shook her head and continued to walk, she turned the corner and left their line of sight.
"Such a stubborn girl, I do hope she doesn't get hurt too badly," Rarity said in genuine worry, the others nodded in agreement.
It was now after school and Still was now leaving with her book-bag hanging from her shoulder. The entire student body was outside all gathered to witness the upcoming act of one-sided violence. The crowd separated upon Stills arrival, forming a path that showed Gilda herself standing at the end.
"So, you actually showed? I didn't think you wanted to die that badly."
Still slowly walked to the battlefield, tossing her book-bag to a random person to hold for her. Once she entered the circle-shaped arena the path was filled back up by the students, this was the point of no return.
"I'll admit Still, you gotta have pretty big balls to actually show up willingly. I'm impressed, no really, I'm honestly impressed with you," Gilda walked over to Still and looked down at her somewhat shorter height, Gilda then turned her face and pointed at her own cheek. "Tell ya what, because you're so cock-sure that you're actually going to win and because you're brave enough to face me head-on, I'll give you a free hit. Go on, hit me with all of you're strength."
Still jumped back and nailed Gilda with a spin-kick, when her heel connected with Gilda's surprised face she was knocked to her side. Still then backed off with a chain of hand stands and finished with a back-flip landing perfectly on her feet. Gilda, along with the rest of the student body, was left speechless after Still's acrobatic performance and then even more-so when she still had her normal stoic face. Gilda got her act together and quickly stood up and charged at Still using raw anger to fuel her body. "I'm gonna kill you, I'm gonna KILL YOU-Gah!"
Right as Gilda was in grabbing distance Still delivered a hard uppercut to Gilda's unguarded stomach, Gilda's face twisted up in pain and she fell to her knees holding her gut. With Gilda's reduced height Still jumped up and started pounding her face with lightning quick kicks using both feet to maximize the effort, she was even defying gravity by hovering in place from the sheer speed of her blows! When the final kick came it hit much harder than the previous ones did, Still used the force to send Gilda flying a few feet and to vault off of her face in a perfect triple back-flip and land without a scratch. Moments passed and Gilda never got up, Rainbow walked out from the crowd and nudged Gilda with her shoe. "G-Gilda's out cold, Still wins!"
A series of aww's and groans of disappointment filled the air, except for one yay from a grey girl who walked out of the crowd with a stuffed bag that had 'bets' drawn on it. "I told you the muffins never lie!" The crowd slowly dispersed leaving Gilda unconscious and Still looking down at her. Still knelt down and grabbed Gilda by her torso and sat her upright, then she took Gilda's limp arm and slung it over her neck and lifted them both up. Still carried her off the school grounds and to lord knows where, her face never changing.
"Mnh... Where... Where am I?"
"Your in my bed, bird-brain." Gilda shot up from the bed and then regretted doing so as a sudden spike of pain formed in her waist, she ignored the pain and looked over to see Still Waters playing a game, the character appeared to be a young man in his teens garbed in a green outfit fighting a much older man with black armor, olive-green skin, red hair and a large glowing great-sword which he held with one hand alone. She was honestly surprised by how deep Still's voice was and her shirtless form revealed she was completely flat chested-wait a second!
"Y-you're a boy!?"
"Hang on, almost..." Still's character blocked his opponent and began swinging his sword into the tall man's chest, causing him to fly onto his back. Still imputed a button combination and the teen jumped up and stabbed his sword into the downed man's chest causing him to scream, Still paused the game and shot her-er, I mean his arms into the air. "Yeah! You just got dethroned so called 'King of Evil'!... Oh hey Gilda, finally awake?"
"Again, you're a boy!?"
"Yeah, what else would I be?"
"The entire student body thinks your a girl!"
"... Huh, Guess that explains why Soarin and Caramel are staring at my ass all the time, I assumed Caramel was gay but Soarin-"
"This entire time everyone at school thought you were a girl, and you don't even care?"
"Hmmm... Not in the slightest! Also in case you were wondering, the reason I don't talk is because I don't feel the need to talk... Most people ask me that eventually," Still turns off his Gamecube and switches the tv setting to HDMI2 and turns on his PS3 with his toe. "Oh, Gilda, you want something to eat?"
Before Gilda could answer there was a knock at the door, a woman came in with a pizza box and set it down on the bed. "Oh, is your little friend finally awake Still?"
"Yeah, her names Gilda, and thanks for the pizza!"
"Your very welcome, and it was a pleasure to meet you Gilda. If you need anything just let me or my wife know," The woman closed the door and left Gilda to think on that sentence...
"Wait, did she say wife?"
"Yeah, she's my genetic mother but she was married to my other mother when I was born. One trip to a sperm bank and here I am!"
Still reached into the pizza box and pulled out a slice, handing it to Gilda. He then pulled out his phone and dialed up someone. "Yo Button, I'm starting a lobby in Battlefield... sweet, gimme a minute and I'll meet you there,"
Still hung up and faced Gilda, he held out a controller for her. "Gilda, I know we did some bad things but I gotta ask-"
"Yeah."
"But I didn't even finish my-," Gilda took the controller and locked lips with Still, after the kiss ended Still just stood there with a confused face.
"When I said yeah I meant it, not only did you stand up to me in the cafeteria but you slapped me twice, showed up to the fight, then kicked my ass and afterwards dragged me all the way to your house so we could kiss and make-up over pizza and Battlefield. I've met people who shiver when I'm in the same room with them but you are the first person to stand up to me and prove your more than just big talk, and if that ain't the work of a true badass than I don't know what is. Now, are you gonna be my boyfriend or am I gonna have to make you be my boyfriend?"
"Depends, am I gonna have to do all that romantic crap?"
"I'd punch you in the mouth if you even tried, now grab that controller and let's kill some newbs!"
Still raised a brow and smirked. "I didn't take you for a gamer, Gilda."
"Yeah, and I didn't take you for a guy, but still waters run deep and I'm sure you've heard that saying more than once before," Still shook his head and lightly chuckled. "You have no idea."
'thump!'
Still and Gilda looked over to see Still's mother lying on her face between the door way, Still's face went red with embarrassment. "Were you spying on us!?"
"... Maybe?"
The woman darted out of the room and Still gave chase. "Hey, get back here you nosy little sneak!" Gilda looked outside his room to see Still chasing his mother with an intent to kill, the woman being chased was giggling like a child while trying to escape her son's wrath. Another woman was watching the entire thing play out from the couch, she eating a box of Cheese-Its and laughing like a hyena. Gilda just shook her head in amusement. "Men."
