Fires of Life

Prologue: Who Am I?

Time: 9:30 A.M., Location: A pond a few miles from Sweet Apple Acres

The sun beaded down upon the ground, the wind moved through the trees, underneath a tree laid a young Foal. He was a light brown, with a mane of red and orange, upon a closer look he was unicorn. The young Foal was snoozing off, until he heard a fish jump in a pond nearby. He yawned and looked about.

"Where am I?" he thought looking around, all he saw was the tree he was sleeping under and a pond in front of him. He Trotted up to the pond, and peered in, seeing his reflection. "Who and What Am I?" He thought as he made funny faces in the water. Then a fish jumped up in front of him, startling him onto his flank. Then he got a bit angry, then lifted a hoof only to find a magnificent surprise. A fire ball formed above him. He started to juggle it around , laughing and having fun until he tripped and the fire ball was sent hurling really far away. "I hope that doesn't hit Anypony." He Thought "Well first things first. Then the young Foal's stomach began to rumble. He looked about. "Must be something to eat nearby." He said to himself. He followed a trail nearby, the immediately stopped to smell something very delicious. He began to hurry down the path.

Meanwhile in Canterlot

The famed ruler of all Equestria, Princess Celestia stepped out onto one of her decks of her castle. "What a lovely day." she thought. Then an small shadow hovered over her, she looked up to see a large ball of fire heading straight at her. The two collide, and Celestia stood there her beauty covered in black soot. She coughed a small cloud of smoke. She got angry, "SOMEPONY IS GOING TO PAY!!!!!! she screamed. Guards rushed towards Celestia, bringing a strange mirror. "Show me who did this Mirror!" She said to the Mirror, it showed the young Foal. "Bring him to Canterlot, Alive! I will deal with this pest." She said to the guards. "Understood M'lady." They both said at the same time. The hurried out knowing to do this immediately or they face severe punishment, they sent out several platoons to find the Foal. "Soon....." said Celestia with an evil smile.

Back to the Foal

He reached a sign saying "Welcome to Sweet Apple Acres"

"Apples? Don't mind if I do." He said to himself. He arrived at the farm, there seem to be no pony around. He walked on, seeing an huge expanse of apple trees as far as the eye can see. The Foal licked his lips. He rushed to the closest tree. He saw they were too high up for him to grab by jumping. "Hmmmm.........." He said thinking out loud. Then he got an idea, and started to hit his head against the tree, yet no apples fell.  He stepped back, "Well, that didn't work." he said to himself. He then kicked the tree, and an apple fell to the ground. He smiled, looked about making sure no one was around. He immediately chomped down on the apple, eating all of it in seconds. "You know that's stealing right?" came from a voice. It was a young orange filly with a cowboy hat. "Well sorry! I was hungry." the Foal said in a sarcastic tone. "You better be! Now pay me for that Apple!" the Filly said. "Nope, don't think so." The Foal said with a smile. He bolted as fast as his hooves could carry him. Several guards showed up, "Have you seen a Foal, ya size, brown with a fiery mane?" the Captain asked the Filly. "He ran that way!" she pointed her hoof in the direction the Foal was running. The Pegasus of the group scouted ahead at blinding speed while the rest ran as fast as they could. The Foal stopped half way into the acres of Apple trees, he started to catch his breath, he breathed heavily. "Man.....*huff* Gotta......*huff* Stop pushing.....*huff Myself" he said Then Swoosh! a blast of air moved passed him. He saw some sort of colored blur pass over head. "Stop there you childish Foal!" He heard from behind him, there was a group of Guards, all were Earth ponies. "Childish!?!? Hmph. We'll see about that." said the Foal with a smile, they surrounded him ready for whatever he was going to do. Then from behind came a swift blur, it was the only Pegasus guard that came, he hit the Foal from behind, knocking the Foal out. "Great distraction guys." the Pegasus said to his fellow guards. "Now to take him back to Canterlot. The Princess will decide his fate."

Notes:

I didn't know the term for more than one Pegasus, i'm still learning Mlp.

Second, I will have Flare's name introduced later, this kinda like his memory is wiped clean and don't remember who he is.
