Into the moonlight….

Prologue:

I looked at the room where I was.

That was a tiny, dark room without even a window for the light. I was lying on a couch. I was in that for two day now, waiting for my trial.

The door smashed open, and one guard entered. He was wearing a deep purple armor, unlike the others.

‘’ Silver Spear…’’ He said, taking off his helmet. I instantly recognized him.

‘’ Shining Armor…’’ I said, looking at the big, white, blue-manned captain of the royal guard of Celestia. ‘’ How was your wedding? I heard that there were… complications?’’

‘’ Yeah,’’ The unicorn said.’’ A little incident with the changeling Queen and her subjects. What about you? Why are you in jail, Silver?’’

‘’ Because I’ve … make a horrible thing…’’ I said. ‘’ I don’t want to explain.’’

He looked at me wih a disabused face, but he didn't push his inquiry further more.

‘’ You were one of my best stallions…’’ He said with a sad face. ‘’ What the ranks of the guard will look without you?’’

‘’ I don’t know, Shining. ‘’ Suddenly, he hugged me with all his srtenght. '' Humpf... Shining..?''

'' Yeah?''

'' You're... breaking my ribs.''

'' Oh, sorry...'' He said, before releasing me. I took a deep breath.

‘’ The Prisoner Silver Spear is requested for his trial!’’ A guard outside said.

‘’ Hmm… I think I have to go.’’ I said.

‘’ I’ll go with you.’’ He said. ‘’One guard with me to escort Silver Spear!’’

As we went out of the room, another pony joined us. That was a tall, strong, grey,dark brown-manned Pegasus.

‘’ Falcon Claws?’’ I said. ‘’ What are you doing here too?’’

‘’ I’m here to escort you, Silver’’ He answered. ‘’ I can’t see you as a criminal.’’ He added.

‘’ Me neither.’’ Shining Armor said. ‘’ Ugh... I can't believe I'm saying that, but... give me your hooves, Silver.’’

‘’ I’m not going to run.’’ I said.

He looked at me with his face ‘I’m-the-captain-I-know-what-I-do’.

‘’ Ugh… Fine…’’ I said, stretching out my forelegs.

I grimaced as he hoovecuffed me. They took me by the shoulders and hoisted me on Shining’s back. We walked several minutes in the big corridors of the Canterlot's castle.

We finally reached the court. I recognized several face in the audience. All of they were my friends in the royal guard. Shining dropped me off. I sat down on the defendant’s chair, and they sat down behind me. The look on their faces was empty of expression, but I think they were worrying about me.

I looked again in the audience. I recognized a pony who wasn’t here before: A light pink Alicorn.Princess Cadence…I hope Shining Armor is happy with you.

Suddenly, everypony stopped the hubbub.

Princess Celestia has entered the court. She sat down at the judge’s place and said with a voice majestuous and full of autority:

‘’ Hello, my dears subjects! Today, we’re here for the trial of one of my best ex-royal guard, Silver Spear, a black pegasus with a silver mane, one one here.'' She said, raising a hoof toward me. I gulped a little as the rowd looked at me''. Convinced of murder with aggraved circumstances. Now, I’ll call the jury, the defense attorney and the prosecutor.’’

She stopped and took a list:

‘’ In the jury: Fancy Pants, Prince Blueblood, Princess Luna and Princess Cadence.’’

The named ponies left theirs chairs and goes behind the princess.

‘’ As defense attorney, we have, arrived from Ponyville from the trial, Twilight Sparkle!’’

The purple unicorn I knew for being Shining’s little sister, entered in the court and sat down behind me. She looked quite of stressed.

‘’ And, as prosecutor, we have…’’

‘’ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE!!!’’ a voice cut her.

I turned my head toward the origin of this awful yell. A blue unicorn with magician costume came from the end of the court and sat down in front of me. I sighed. Shining Armor and the others Guards were wthering at the pretentious unicorn.

The Princess glared at her, and said:

‘’ I say, that the trial’s now open!’’

As the jury retired for deliberate, I looked at the hourglass. It was ten PM, already.

I looked at my defense attorney, Twilight. She was speaking with Shining Armor.

‘’ I told you that Trixie was a good prosecutor!’’ She said.The conversation wasn't exactly turning in her favour.

‘’ You’re saying that because you’ve failed my friend’s defense. ‘’ Shining said. He seemed plenty of anger. ‘’ If he’s condemned… ‘’

‘’ B-but…’’ She said, tears in her eyes. And if there’s a thing I hate more than a criminal like me unpunished, that’s an innocent punished for someting she isn't coupable of.

‘’ STOP!’’ I yelled.

The two turned both to look at me. And half of the audience too.

‘’ Stop, Shining…’’ I said, less loud this time.’’ You’re going to make your sister cry for nothing.’’

‘’ But…’’ He said. ‘’ If you were condemned? It's not nothing, that!’’

‘’ If I’m condemned, that will be MY fault, not hers.’’ I said. ‘’ We would not be here if I haven’t make that stupid thing.’’

‘’ Uh… yeah… I guess  you’re right, Silver.’’ He said.’’ I’m sorry, little sis’, I’ve a bit lost my mind.’’

‘’ Thanks you, Silver…’’ She said. ‘’ I’ve never met you before, but, after the wedding, Shiny told me more about his friends, and you were in them. Even if we have to meet at your trial, I understand why, now.’’

‘’ Thanks you .’’ I said simpl. I haen't really any other things to say. Shiny, uh? I smiled slightly. I've always thought he hated this nickname.

‘’ Please everypony!’’ A voice yelled.’’ Please, look at me… Ugh… PLEASE EVERYPONY!’’

Everypony stopped what they were doing and stared at the Princess Luna.

‘’ Umm… That’s better now.’’ She said. ‘’ The jury has deliberated, and...’’ I began to felt nervous. '' The prisoner is declared coupable, and is condemn to be banished on the moon for the whole life!’’

I was blowing off by the news. That was not good. Banished… to the moon for the whole life? I dried my sweat away.

‘’ So…’’ The Princess Celestia said to me. ‘’ A last wishes?’’

‘’ Yeah…’’ I said. ‘’ Can I say goodbye to my friends?’’

‘’ Indeed!’’ She answered.

I turned myself towards Shining Armor and her sister.

‘’ Goodbye…’’ I said.’’ Will you two be happy and have a wonderful life.’’

Twilight began to sob and said:

‘’ G..Goodbye, Silver…’’

‘’ Shhh… don’t cry…’’ I said. ‘’ That’s gonna be okay…’’

‘’ M-maybe if I was b-bet-tter, you weren’t saying goodbye now.’’ She said, with the saddest face I’ve ever seen. ‘’ I failed…’’

‘’ You couldn’t be better…’’ I said. I fought myself to not cry. That was hard for me to say that in my situation. I turned myself towards Shining Armor and Cadence, who was just arrived.

‘’ You two, I hope you’ll live peacefully and happily.’’ I said.’’ When you’ll have children, tell their about me. Like the bad example.’’

‘’ If I have to remember you when we’ll have child, that’s not for the bad things, Silver.’’ Shining Armor said. Cadence nodded. I nodded to Falcon Claws. He nodded back. I smiled. As talkative as the Falcon I know…

I looked for the last time at the crowd. And then I turned toward the Princesses and said:

‘’ I’m ready...’’

‘’ Well, then…’’ Princess Celestia said ‘’ Five!’’

Her horn began to glow with a light gold aura.

‘’ Four!’’

I began to fly without my wings in a gold colored magic cocoon.

‘’ Three!’’

I began to tremble all over.

‘’ Two!’’

The world began to crumble around me.

‘’ One!’’

There was a big flash, and all became black…

I’m actually working on the chapter one. I don’t know how tall he’ll be for the moment.

Oh, I know! I was wondering… Please can anyone be my corrector? Because English isn’t my first language, so I need help on that. I search also proofreaders.
