VG's big break

    It wasn't a gloomy day. Not great day either though.  Damn, though she was amazing. She was impulsive, in control, and shimmering. She was so fly. Her name was kirsti. She was a fairly powerful female character for a Mario game. Then again they over exagexaggerate everything female about most females in Mario. Even with birdo and its a dude. I flipped my 3DS closed. I need a new game, correction I need THE new game. Everytime I think about it i get more butterflies than when you beat a song on the highest setting on Guitar Hero. This game will be legendary.

     The next day as in stood in line for Titans of Destiny I noticed that some of my gaming friends were there... Wait hold on have I even told you my name yet? Well then. I'm VG or video game.  I am really good at video games. Like all of them. I have been endorsed by a small local company that goes by EQHO, that's Equestrian Heroes Online. They are the only reason I don't still live at home. The best part is they are all really good friends of mine. The were closer to the back than I was. I hoped they would get a copy. I didn't want to be alone when I go to play. I was actually a little surprised to see so many ponies showing up to get this game. Random ponies I didn't even talk to were striking up conversation about the game.

       My friends and I began to text as it got closer to midnight.

       "What character type you going to try first" Mizune sent. That's not her real name but it's what she looked to be called.

     "I usually go with mages first but i really like how the rouge looks. He seems like after some power leveling he could do really well." I sent back.

      "Okay cool. So what's up with the new gear you have to get? Have you heard anything?" she asked.

      "Surprise nope. I think I'm too far back. They should be opening in just half an hour." I sent.

       Now I don't consider myself extremely social but sometimes people just warm up to me.  Like Mizune. She was quiet but not the shy type. Talkative as most of my friends usually are. Best of all she  a gamer. I think that's one of the only reasons we talk though.

       As I got home i figured I would give it a shot right then. The new hardware wasn't all that complex. Not even that new. It is just one of those video goggles. I booted up my computer and installed the game while I heated up some Pizza Pockets. Titans of Destiny is going to be amazing, I thought to myself. As I trotted back to my computer room I picked up a coke zero. God, good luck finding that from anyone but me. I sat down at my computer. I began to set up my account.

        So my character. I'm going with the rouge. Grey mane and eyes.  Black coat.  White hoodie. And the hoove blades.... And begin again?

       I put on the video goggles. A loading circle spun on my hud for a moment before I dropped a few inches to the ground. I could see trees loading far off and then the buildings started to load. I backed up a a building loaded right in front of me. I tripped and fell on my butt. Then it loaded the other players. There were actually quite a few already on.  I stood up just to have someone else fall into me as they loaded into the game.

        "Oh geese I'm sorry. I just got here." she said.

        "Its okay. I did too. What's your username?" I asked as she helped me up.

        "Oh no," she said putting her hooves to her mouth gasping and letting me fall.

       "Ow, hey! I'm not going to report you. I just wanted to Friend you." I said rubbing my butt. Third time is the worst not the charm.

         "Oh, why?" she asked helping me up again.

         I pulled her off to the side so we didn't get sponed on again. "Because you were the first person I met." I pulled up my hud menu for the first time. "So do you want to be friends?"

          "I.." she stopped and looked at the ground.

          "Are you okay?" I asked.

          "I would love to be your friend!" she said lunging at me and hugging.

       "Nice. Sounds like we got ourselves a guild." I held my hoove up for a bro hoof. She left me hanging. "So lets find out what our first quest is!"

       "Definitely!"she said all pumped up.

        I pulled up the hud menu and clicked through the guild options me and her were the second guild in the game. As I explored the new hud I noticed a quest tracker box. I clicked to open it up, and was surprised to see that there were already custom request missions and everything. Then popped up a welcome letter thing that I just skimmed over real quick. The letter gave me my first story mission. I closed my hud.

      "Look i have my fist mission!" Firemane said.

      "Me too. I need to go to the-"

      "Rouge hall? That's actually where I'm going too. So we are stuck together for just a bit longer"

      "Cool. Lets go." I said happy to get started off so well.
