Ponies In Terraria
2: Water Bolt
Previous Chapter*thud*
"Oww-www.."
Twilight attempted to lift her equine body to greet the world but, she came to a realization.
She was a sapien human.
-One Intensely Drawn Out Freak Out Scream Later-
Twilight stood back up, and found another human with a slight shade of brown skin, brown hair, a green shirt with a brown undershirt, and brown with extra brown brown pants. Man, this guy's been eating too much cookies with dirt flour.
"Uhh.. are you okay?"
Twilight realized that it, no, he was trying to assume verbal communication, and responded.
"I am fine, where am I?"
The brownie man raised his eyebrow as if he were confused on why you seemed like an alien.
"Terraria, of course. Land of monsters and ridiculous amount of random pots and wood? You heard of it before?"
"...I can't say that I have, Mister..."
"Ricardo."
"Ricardo. So uh, why are you here."
"I am a... guide."
...
"So what do I do?"
Ricardo the Guide jumped into a stiff posture whilst reciting, "Terraria has monsters nearly everywhere, especially at night. Gather some wood and materials to create a house."
"...Any... more tips?"
"Being an adventurer, a house won't do much good for you. you must find and create weapons, collect money to trade with other people, and survive."
...
"Okay, thanks?"
Ricardo untensed and let out a sigh of relief. "Giving info. Just what i do."
Taking Ricardo's tips into consideration, Twilight opened her seemingly bottomless bag and carried her axe to chop some wood.
She decided to hack into a ridiculously tall tree by the root, she could see the crack in it deepen, until the block broke into tan pixels.
Unlike that Minecraft game every pony talks about, the entire tree broke into peices as wood and acorns fell into her backpack. Like Minecraft, she seemed to be absorbing the things.
Being a proud player of Minecraft though, Twilight had an idea of what to do. She sought out more info frome Ricardo, made a house and workbench, and crafted a hammer.
Twilight then went off to kill a slime to obtain a generous amount of gel, and went back to the workbench to make a few torches. She placed a few torches around and inside the house, along with a chair. Ricardo thanked her and moved inside the house.
After all that work, Twilight didn't feel the slightest bit of tiredness. Finding that there was still some time until moonrise, she headed off to the east.
After encountering slimes and huge puddles, Twilight discovered a dengeon, with a rather worried looking old man inhabiting it.
The man said rather strange tings like, "Don't enter until you've freed me of my master," and "My master cannot be summoned in the light of day."
Are you kidding me? we're in a dungeon!
No matters. Twilight yielded her hammer and went off to collect some books in the dungeon, which were around on wooden platforms.
All of the books seemed to be the same thing, as Twilight's inventory only named them as 'books.' But then there was another one that had what seemed like a blue, watery bolt emblazoned on it's cover. Not knowing what it is, she analyzed it further, and the inventory's description said that it summons a slow moving water bolt.
Funny. Now let's go see Ricardo.
However, when Twilight arrived back at Ricardo's house, Rainbow Dash and Applejack were waiting for her.
"Oh.. uh, hey.. Twilight?"
"It's me. But are you you?"
"If we are not we, then how do we know you?"
"Answer the question girls, if you are the two girls."
"We are we, but what about you, if you are you?"
"I am confident that I am I."
Ricardo cleared his throat.
"...Yes Ricardo?"
"Why didn't you tell me that there were more people?"
...
"That is irrelevant.. I guess?
"Alright. Hey, is that a book in your hand?"
"What's a hand- oh wait, yeah. It's a Water Bolt of some kind. What is it exactly?"
"Oh, it shoots a slow moving water bolt, and it is one of the first spells for one to ever use. How about you try it out?"
"Sure?"
Twilight shot a bolt at a zombie that was approaching the house, and bolt damaged the thing with every touch. When the bolt hit the ground it ricocheted back into the air, emitting a bright blue glow of water.
Rainbow Dash didn't look satisfied. "It moves too slow."
Applejack questioned her. "Ah think it's better if it moves slow like that."
Twilight was staring at the horizon.
"Uhh, what is it Twah?"
The blood moon is rising...
