The Grand Galloping Gala (Take 2)
As the apple-shaped carriage pulled up to Canterlot Castle, many of the ponies in the Courtyard cringed. They sighed as a dark blue unicorn in a shimmery silver dress stepped out, but gasped in horror as six familiar ponies trotted out after her.
"Ya think they all remember us?" Applejack asked worriedly.
"Well duh!" said Rainbow Dash. "We destroyed the ballroom, and I bet the same snobs come to this stupid ball every year. Umm Twilight, why are we here again anyway?"
"Because the Princess asked us to come," answered Twilight Sparkle, trying to act as royal as possible.
"And because I, The Great and Humble Trixie wished to go!" Trixie chimed in. All ponies around Trixie and the Mane Six made a mental note that this Grand Galloping Gala would be worse than last years'.
"Does everypony think we should just go inside?" Fluttershy whimpered, shying away from Canterlot snobs disapproving glares.
"Dear Fluttershy is right," Rarity stated clearly. "We should go inside and have a lovely time; together."
"But I wanna go see if I can catch Darin- A.K Yearling!" Rainbow Dash whines, then races off, clearly in fangirl mode.
"Alright," Rarity sighs. "Let's have a lovely time without Rainbow Dash."
But as soon as the six mares got inside, Rarity had the sudden urge to go. Badly.
"Excuse me, but I have to go use the little filly's room," she said hurriedly.
"Ok!" Pinkie Pie yelled. "I'm gonna go turn a table purple!"
Trixie made a weird face. "The Great and Humble Trixie is confused by what her pink friend is saying."
Twilight Sparkle rolled her eyes. "That's just Pinkie Pie being Pinkie Pie."
"Goodbye!" Rarity said, then rushed off.
Somepony had obviously purposely turned off all the lights in the hallway towards the restrooms, trying to make the trip frightening. Although Rarity wasn't daunted, she could barely see and wasn't even sure she was going in the right direction anymore. At least she didn't have to go any longer. That was strange. Either way, she had had enough.
"Who the hell turned off all the damn lights?" Rarity screamed, totally losing her ladylike demeanor. "I swear-
A well-groomed stallion stepped out of the shadows gracefully, only to trip over a purple rock that had somehow found its way under his hoof. "It was I," he grumbled, then stumbled to his hooves. "Prince Blueblood!"
Rarity facehoofed. "Not again..."
The annoyed Prince Blueblood tried again. "You are supposed to tremble in fear! In terror!"
The pretty white mare rolled her eyes. "You're not good enough for fear."
"Wha-" Prince Blueblood looked shocked.
"Or terror." Rarity added with a devious smile.
Then the conversation suddenly turned dark. The Prince's eyes shone red as he spoke.
"I will be."
