Ponies Break the Fouth Wall
.....Rainbow Dash loved flying......
“Heck yeah, I do!” The said Pegasus interrupted fling on the screen. Twilight followed after her and pulled her down with her magic.
“Rainbow Dash.” Twilight admonished. “What have I told you about interrupting a writer when they’re trying to write a Fimfic. I apologize writer please continue.” I cracked my fingers and got back to writing.
.....most of her free time was spent in the air, and when she wasn’t in the air she was napping.....
“Wait!” Pinkie screamed jumping into the script. “Why do you have to start the story with Rainbow Dash? What about me?” I sighed choosing to ignore the pink pony and went back to my writing.
.....or eating.... Rainbow pounded on the computer screen.
“Hey I do lots more things than napping and eating!” Pinkie pushed Rainbow out of the way.
“Why can’t you start your story with a party thrown by yours truly?” I took a deep breath trying not to lose it completely.
“Will you two please stop interrupting my story?”
“Only if you stop making me out to be so lazy.” Rainbow said.
“And only if you start your story with a party thrown by me.”
“Fine. How ‘bout this?”
.....The party was in full swing, multicolored streamers lined the walls and ceiling, and Rainbow Dash was dancing wildly to the loud party music......
“Dancing really? Since when do I dance.” I resisted the urge to hit the delete button.
“Would you prefer me to have you making out with Twilight?”
“Just try it buddy!” The Alicorn said angrily, her horn glowing.
“You guys do realize this is my story, so I’m the one who decides what happens.”
“Not if you’re going to ship me and Rainbow you’re not.”
“The correct grammar for that statement would be, “Rainbow and I.” My statement was met with icy silence, so I continued my story.
......And Pinkie was busy drinking from the chocolate fountain....
“I love chocolate fountains.” Pinkie yelled. “This is the best story ever.”
“Rainbow, Twilight, Pinkie come quickly.....” I threw up my hands and yelled in frustration as Rarity entered the script. She wasn’t even supposed to be in my story. “Well excuse me darling writer. It’s hardly my fault we’ve got more ancient evil threatening Equestria and we need the Elements of Harmony to stop it.” I rubbed my eyelids with my fingers.
“Fine. Go save Equestria, I’ll be right here when you’re done.” The ponies walked off the script, and while I waited for them to get back I made myself a bowl of cereal and watched some TV. I was halfway through “Winter Wrap Up” when I heard a knocking on my computer screen. “I see you’re back.” I said as I sat down to continue writing my story. “How did you go saving Equestria.”
“Oh everything went fine darling. But enough about that, let’s talk about your story, and why I’m not in it.” I chuckled nervously and rubbed the back of my neck.
“I don’t really need an over dramatic, emotional diaster, character for this story.” Rarity glared icy daggers at me.
“Did you just call me an “over dramatic and emotional diaster character?”
“Rarity, Twilight said walking onto the screen. “You can’t question the the writer’s description of you.”
“Fine then. I’m going to a story where I’m actually appreciated, and the writer listens to my opinions.”
I gave a sigh of relief as I watched the unicorn walk off the script.
“Now then where was I?”
“I was drinking from a chocolate fountain!” Pinkie said jumping up and down.
......However the pink pony was interrupted as Twilight tapped her on the shoulder. “Pinkie Pie, perhaps you should leave some for the rest of us.” Pinkie’s ears drooped and she looked to the ground......
“Aww.....Twilight, you gave me a sad.” Twilight looked apologetic.
“I didn’t mean to, it’s the writer’s fault. I would never stop you from drinking from a chocolate fountain.” I growled and began hitting the delete button. “Wait! Don’t do that, this story seems to be looking interesting why don’t you continue?”
“If I continue I’ll probably end up losing my mind.” Twilight raised an eyebrow.
“Perhaps we should leave then.”
“I wouldn’t mind if you did, I might actually get somewhere with my story.” Rainbow did a few annoying laps around the screen, and I chased her with the mouse, but the little pegasus was too fast so I ignored her and went back to my story writing.
......“But Twilight, there’s like heaps here for everybody.”....
Twilight cleared her throat. “The correct term would be “Everypony” not “everybody” you’re writing about ponies remember?” I rolled my eyes.
“How could I forget? I’ve got three of them on my screen interrupting me every chance they get.”
“Well exxxcccuuuussseeee me for wanting you to have a good story to post on Fimfic.” Rainbow gave me a smirk and began tapping annoyingly on the screen. I took the opportunity to click her with my mouse and drag her off screen, perhaps she’d end up on some Twidash clop website, that would be extremely amusing to watch. “Hey that wasn’t nice. She was just trying to have some fun.”
“Like mmmmeeeeeee........” Pinkie yelled grabbing the mouse and dangling off of it. I tried to shake her off but the pink party pony only laughed even harder. I dragged her off screen and she jumped in from the other side, and began pressing random icons on my desktop. I screamed in frustration and began closing all the windows the pony was opening.
“Twilight stop her!” I implored the purple Alicorn. Twilight sighed and her horn glowed as she tried to catch the hyperactive pink pony.
“Hey what’s this?’ Pinkie asked pressing my media player icon. Loud techno music began blaring from my speakers and Pinkie began throwing streamers everywhere.
“I give up!” I yelled pulling the plug out of the computer. Too bad there wasn’t a program to delete Fourth-Wall breaking ponies .
