Prologue- the lament

It had been a week or so after her defeat. Time was lost to her as she sat there, hidden by the shadows cast by the alleyway. All that was certain was the event of and preceding that fateful day.  After her defeat, she was abandoned by the only people she knew and left for dead in middle of nowhere. She did have knowledge of the city, but it was quite limited. She couldn't live off of energy like before. With the pendent destroyed, she now needed food and water like anyone else.  But that required money and  no one ever told her how to get money. All she ever knew was following orders of her leader, and now she was alone. Alone and without the proper knowledge to survive. With no one to go to, she retreated to the alleyways of the city to think of what to do next, but nothing came. No one could give her food. No one could give her water. No one could give her money. And no one could give her a home. As time passed, she got hungry, thirsty, and dirty. She could get to a water fountain for water, but nothing could supply her other needs. And in a weeks time, she was nearing her end.

With nothing left and her time approaching, she left to where it all began. She had only one thing left to do. She had came up with this idea at night and left at night. Walking was a challenge, but she persisted. Night helped a bit as not as many people were around nor were there cars to stop her. But it was still quite a distance. As she walked, she thought of what she was going to say once she got there and to who.

Finally making It, she stepped to the front of it. She was far enough away so the whole school was in view. She stood there in silence for a minute before breaking down.

"I'm sorry everyone. Adagio, Aria, sunset, everyone, please forgive me. I know I'm not the smartest and I mess up. I just want to be accepted. Please, just forgive me."

After finishing up all her energy left her. She stumbled and fell back.
