“Huh” RAINBOW?! What are you doing here, silly?” Pinkie asked.
Rainbow knew she wanted to spend Hearts and Hooves with some other Pony, and she knew Pinkie would be a friend to do just that.
As Pinkie opened the door wider, Rainbow could see other ponies in there and realized they wouldn’t be alone.

Dash looked up at the purple Allicorn, with a face filled with pity, and saw that Twilight and her family were playing board games.
“I was wondering if…” Rainbow’s mind went blank, just as she was about to finish her sentence. “If I could spend Hearts and Hooves?”
Twilight, with a confused look on her face, looked back at her mother, father, and brother, to see if it was ok with them. They all shook their heads no, and Twilight looked back at Dash, “Sorry Rainbow, my family and I had plans for tonight.” Twilight watched as her friend turned and trotted back into the rain.
Rainbow was flying further and further, down the same path she had since she left Sweet Apple Acres, and came across Fluttershy’s cottage. Rainbow knew she shouldn’t disturb Fluttershy tonight; she always was asleep during these Holidays Rainbow quietly snuck past her friend’s cottage, being careful not to make a sound. Just as Rainbow was a couple feet from the door, she heard a moaning from inside. That’s weird… Rainbow thought, Fluttershy is usually in bed at this hour. Rainbow knocked, and heard the sound of what seemed like ponies rustling around.
The door opened moments after, “Oh, Rainbow! What are you doing out in this weather?” Fluttershy was blushing.
“I was going to see if I could spend the night with you but I can see you’re busy,” Rainbow said as she saw Big Mac out of the corner of her eye. As Fluttershy was trying to explain what happened, and pleading with Dash to not tell anypony, Rainbow turned and trotted away.
“I’ll see you later Fluttershy.” Rainbow decided that she should go to the academy, so that she could see all of Ponyville while it was lit up. She didn’t have anything better to do. As she arrived, she sat on the side of the roof where her and Soarin were sitting earlier that day.
As she looked over to see Ponyville, a lightning bolt shot across the sky, which in turn made Rainbow jump, look over and see the outline of a house. Rainbow had a NEW idea when she realized who’s it was, it was Soarin’s house.
~Part 3~
Soarin was sitting on his couch, reading the latest news, from Cloudsdale, and Ponyville. When suddenly, he heard a noise from the door.
