Applejack Decides To Give It a try
Desire.
Applejack's breath was quickening by the second and coming out in short little gasps as she gingerly made her way through the second story hallway of her house. Her blonde mane was wet from the beads of sweat that kept dripping from her forehead as she frantically glanced behind herself every so often.
"Come on, come on, almost there.." she told herself, her eyes darting around to check if anyone had seen her. So far the coast was clear.
The room was only a few feet away, magnetizing her, beckoning her to come closer and give into temptation..to give into her burning curiosity that she had a dark feeling would eventually become her downfall. But that was half the thrill.
Applejack lipped her licks in anticipation and entered the dimly lit room, closing the door behind her and panting to catch her breath. At first glance, nothing about the place was special. An ordinary bathtub, an ordinary sink, your average medicine cabinet. But she couldn't stand the internal torture anymore-- if was the last thing she'd ever do, she had to give it a try. Just once.
Pure desire.
Observing her reflection in the mirror, Applejack could she that she was indeed a total mess. Her eyes were bloodshot from thinking about it all week, and her expression was one of both sick excitement and desperation. She attempted to crack her usual friendly smile, but only managed to twitch the corner of her mouth before letting out a tiny, hysterical giggle. She didn't care what they said. She was going to try it.
Applejack inhaled deeply and reached for something deep within the shower rack, something rounded...something smooth...something plastic.
The bottle was decorated in brightly colored labels and had the picture of a stylized apple on it, accompanied by the provoking image of two spicy cinnamon sticks. It was neither cinnamon nor apple cologne, but an amalgamation of both --- apple cinnamon cologne. An experience like no other to the nostrils of the lucky few able to get their hooves on such a product.
"Ah'm..ah'm really gonna give it a try.." she whispered, her voice shuddery and dreamy at the same time. She let out a moan of satisfaction as she opened the lid, releasing the cologne's sweet, strong fragrance.
Adrenalin surged through her veins causing her cheeks to heat up and turn a bright crimson as the scent completely overtook her. The sensation was a foreign one, but welcome nonetheless.
And to think that Big Macintosh got to do this every morning....
Her heart rate accelerated as she slowly, ceremoniously squeezed the bottle and let its' contents ooze onto her fur, making her very skin tingle and strengthening the spicy apple scent. At first Applejack's eyes widened in shock at the overwhelmingness of it all, but after a few seconds her eyes fluttered closed again and she sighed. She was embracing the cologne, allowing herself to enjoy the experiment while it lasted...letting it consume her.
She spread the lotion all over her body, up her hooves and on the center of her stomach, rubbing it in, spreading the pleasurable feeling to all of her senses.
The smooth, creamy cologne on her fur. it's glistening beauty in the artificial light. The sweet melody of its' squishiness as she spread it across herself like butter on toast. And the smell...oh the smell...
She had never felt so alive before in all her years of existence, but then again, it was like death in the sense that she was in Heaven. The felt nothing but the bliss of wearing the sweet, sweet cologne. Though the question of whether she was wearing it or it was wearing her was up for debate, Applejack didn't care. She was one with the scent...
The spicy, fruity tendrils of the scent clung to everywhere the cologne had been applied, dancing all through the air, so apple-y...so seductive. She was on a separate plane of living as The Scent burled through her nose, making her breath quick and unsteady once more. She twitched her hind leg at the sudden strength of the smell.
"Y-yeah.." she trembled, deciding to completely dive into the apple spice deep end. There was no going back now. No regrets. Only apple spice cologne.
"Applejack!" a voice cried out in the mist, breaking her out of her otherworldly existence. The voice was a deep one...a familiar one.
"Wha..wha.." she stuttered, trying to open her eyes, but found herself to weak to do so.
"Applejack, what in tarnation do ya think you're doin' here?"
Lifting her eyelids as best she could, Applejack caught a glimpse of a tall, red figure standing above her lotion-covered form. Oh...Big Macintosh.
"Ah...ah'm givin' it a try..." she breathed, half-heartedly groping for the cologne bottle as the smell dwindled, "Ah'm really doin' it..."
Big Macintosh shook his head and picked up the bottle with his teeth, closing the lid and placing it back on the shower rack.
"That ain't for you, sis," he told her firmly.
"But ah...ah want it..."
She slowly rolled across the floor, groaning and desperately inhaling to savor the last traces of the scent. She didn't want to end this experience.
"Ah'm sorry, but ah can't let ya."
"P-please..just a little more..."
"Ah was afraid this would happen."
A single tear rolled down Applejack's cheek. "Ah want it...so badly..."
The wise stallion only looked down at his sister with an expression of utmost and sincere sympathy, and wiped away her tear.
"Ah told ya you weren't ready."

No life without death
No true love without heartbreak
