The Crewhattans and the Importance of Friendship

Down in Manehattan, It was a warm day outside. Apple Bloom was just on her way to meeting her cousin Babs Seed along with Applejack. After the train arrived, they were expecting to meet Babs at the station. They both got off the train and then started looking for Babs. They searched left and right, and even high and low. Babs was running about 20 seconds late trying to search for Apple Bloom. She starts asking other ponies where they've been.

"Excuse me ma'am, have you seen my cousin? You know, yellow pony, red mane with a pink bow?" asked Babs.

"Sorry, I'm afraid I haven't seen her" replied the resident.

"Aw man! Cuz! Where are you?" said Babs.

"I'm right behind ya, Babs!" replied Apple Bloom as she comes near her.

Babs then proceeds to turn around and then she quickly gasps.

"Cuz! I didn't know you were bringing your big sister!" said Babs.

"Yep! Betcha didn't know I was comin' down here to see ya!" said Applejack.

"No ma'am, I didn't!" said Babs.

As they were walking from the station, Babs was talking about her school days  along with Apple Bloom.

"So what brings you guys down here?" said Babs.

"Well Babs, back at my school, Miss Cheerilee had assigned my class a little book report about how friendship works." said Apple Bloom.

"Oh, that sounds very intriguing" said Babs.

"Very intriguing" Applejack appended.

"But..." Apple Bloom quietly said.

"But what?" Babs asked.

"If I recall correctly, Applejack mentioned that some fillies and colts have been giving you a hard time" Apple Bloom said.

"Well... yeah." Babs responded.

"What if th.. they give me a hard ti.. time...?" Apple Bloom said while she worries.

"Oh don't try to mention it! They won't mess with you when I'm around." Babs said.

"I'm glad I have you as my cousin, Babs" said Apple bloom as she goes to hug Babs.

"Yeah, me too!" said Babs as she hugs back.

"Ah don't mean to interfere with your little affection scene but can we get a move on?" asked Applejack.

Apple Bloom and Babs Seed stop hugging and then face Applejack.

"Oh, right!" they both said.

Applejack, Apple Bloom, and Babs Seed started to mingle around the streets of Manehattan, talking about the report Apple Bloom has to do.

"Can you talk about more about your little report that ya gotta do there cuz?" asked Babs.

"Sure thing" replied Apple Bloom.

Apple Bloom had talked about her book report on friendship. The report has to be on the pony you recently made friends with, It cannot be on somepony that you are already became friends with, has to be approximately two to three pages long, and it is due when they get back from their spring break.

"Oh, uh... That shouldn't be too hard I suppose" said Babs.

"Yeah, it'd totally be a piece of cake." Apple Bloom said.

"How long are you going to be staying here?" Babs asked curiously.

"We're only gonna be here for a few hours there Babs" Applejack replied. "Sorry 'bout that..."

"What?! I mean... really?" Babs asked.

"Yep. Wish we could stay a bit longer if we could though to be honest with ya" Applejack replied.

"Aww..." Apple Bloom and Babs said.

"Well, while you girls are here in Manehattan, why don't I show ya girls somethin?" Babs said.

"Sure thing Babs!" Apple Bloom said.

Apple Bloom then started to realize that she may have started her own clubhouse, so she pauses for a short moment and then gasps.

"Ooh! Did you actually make a clubhouse?!" Apple Bloom said quickly.

Babs started to pause for a quick second.

"Well, only way to find out cuz!" Babs responded.

Babs then takes Applejack and Apple Bloom to her clubhouse. Suddenly, on their way there, they stumble upon some bit of trouble. The fillies and colts that have been giving Babs a hard time way back had walked out in front of them out of nowhere, they're called the "Crewhattan." Babs Seed then starts to quickly gasp as she gets surprised.

"Well lookee here. We got ourselves some trespassers here on our turf" said Forsythia.

"Forsythia? What are you doing?" Babs aggressively said.

"If it isn't Babs Tweed herself!" Forsythia said as she laughs along with her friends.

"Hey!" exclaimed Apple Bloom. "That is no way to talk to my..."

Apple Bloom pauses then slowly backs off.

"Um, who's your friend there with the unusually large bow?" Forsythia asked.

"My bow is big?" Apple Bloom mumbles quietly as she looks at her bow.

"Wait, don't tell me... That's a friend of yours?" Bougardis said.

Apple Bloom starts to sweat while Applejack glares at the troublemakers.

"No, she more that that!" Babs replied.

"Oh really? Then who is she exactly?" asked Beekam.

"She is my cousin, Apple Bloom" Babs proudly responded. "I don't have time to deal with you guys at this precise moment so just please leave us alone."

The Crewhattan ponies start to laugh as they circle around the two defenseless fillies.

"We don't take commands from little wimps like you two" Forsythia said.

"We don't tolerate anything that has to do with whinnying for help" Beekam appended.

"What are you two gonna do anyway? There's nopony around!" said Bougardis.

"Well cuz, we only have but one option here..." Babs quietly said to Apple Bloom.

Applejack steps in the situation trying to sort things out.

"Y'all best cut it out you guys" Applejack said to the Crewhattan.

"Groun-up!!" said the Crewhattan.

"Y'all know that bullying other ponies isn't okay." Applejack said seriously. Hasn't anypony taught you guys that anyway?"

"Um... what now?" said Beekam.

"Bullying. You know, making other ponies feel bad, like you did just a few minutes ago." Applejack said.

"Might I ask, who in the haystraws are you anyway?" Bougardis asked.

"Applejack, the honest pony in Ponyville."

"Yeah, tell 'em big sis!" Apple Bloom said.

"I'm only gonna explain this this one time, so ya might wanna listen" Applejack said.

"This bullying is such a serious matter y'all. Ponies are being bullied worldwide, and it's seriously out of control. Fillies and colts are scared to even go to school these days because of bullying. And it's only gonna get worse, ponies have their own dignity and reputation to think about at the time, if the bullyin' stops one day, maybe, just maybe, everypony can be happy, and thing wouldn't turn out so bad after all." Applejack explained to the Crewhattan.

They started to feel bad about what they have been doing all this time and now they are highly desperate to change.

"Oh..." Forsythia said sadly. "

"I honestly never knew that this whole time" Bougardis said.

"You are absolutely right Miss Applejack... ma'am" Beekam said.

"What have we become?" Bougardis said. "We're... monsters!"

Forsythia turns to Apple Bloom and Babs Seed.

"We are absolutely sorry you guys..." Forsythia said to them.

Apple Bloom questionably looks at Forsythia while Babs Seed pauses for a brief moment.

"Well... It's ok. You didn't know" Babs said to Forsythia.

"Atta girl" said Applejack softly. "Now how about we apples teach you guys a little something called friendship?"

The Crewhattan were desperate enough to shake heads.

"Sure! Why ever not?" they said.

Applejack walks over to Apple Bloom.

"I reckon this would be a nice time to do your little report?" asked Applejack.

"Definitely!" said Apple Bloom full of glee.

They head to the clubhouse where the apples plus the Crewhattan discuss the importance of friendship. Forsythia learned how to share, Bougardis learned how to do cooperative play, even Beekam learned how to do a really cool secret hoofshake. They all realized how much better it is to actually spread the love than to spread out the hate. Apple Bloom managed to write up her little report on friendship and it was absolutely magnificent.

"That was the best experience we have ever had" Forsythia said cherfully.

"That was truly better than what we used to do way back then" said Beekam.

"That was well... uh.. amazing." said Bougardis.

"C'mon Bougardis" Forsythia said. "Say it like ya mean it."

"Alright." Bougardis said. "That. Was. Amazing!!"

"That's more like it" Forsythia said.

Everypony felt even better than ever and all it took was the magic of one word, Friendship.

Apple Bloom and Applejack had to get back to Ponyville as it was starting to get close to sunset. Babs Seed, Forsythia, Bougardis, and Beekam were starting to get closer than ever. They even went over to Babs and gave her a group hug. They all waved to Apple Bloom and Applejack as they were on the train heading back to Ponyville. Wonder what new adventures await Babs Seed and the Crewhattans? We'll have to wait and see.
