Luna smiled to herself as she perched on one of the very few clouds in the sky, she was draped in a dark inky black hooded cloak, that concealed every detail of her giving the appearance of a  homeless Pegasus that was resting on the cloud weary from her travels. Her dark purple painted lips curled into a sweet smile as she watched her target below her on the ground, she took in a deep breath through her nose allowing the night scent of petrichor mixed with the sweet scent of summer flowers to fill her nostrils. “The perfect night” she said almost purring the words, her voice had a hauntingly beautiful singsong tone to it.

Her azure eyes never leaving the library in the city below her perch, the large oak tree that stood almost in the centre of town. It’s lights still lit, in the early hours of dusk she had raised her moon not a few hours ago though darkness was already blanketing the lands of Equestria bringing with it the sweet embrace of sleep for all, including a rather zealous newly minted princess. The lights in the library extinguished one by one until only the room with the balcony was the only one left with a light burning.

In the window Luna could see her shadow being cast onto the rather thin purple curtains, it was late so she was sure twilight was unaware that anyone would see her at this time of night. Well, there was no one to see her as far as Luna could tell save for she herself. Straining her eyes and with the aid of magic the greedy princess of the night sneaked a peek from the outside, never once breaching true privacy by looking through the curtains her fantasy would have to suffice for the moment she thought to herself.

She could make out every small curve of the petite woman’s body, she was by no means  voluptuous like her Pink haired friend, or Celestia for that matter. No, Twilight Sparkle was cute, adorable if you will she concluded with great satisfaction as she peered at the princess of Friendship’s form, eyeing up the much younger woman something inside of her told her that she should perhaps stop peeking. Aside from the feeling of her wings were rigid on her back sparking a blush on the Lunar princess' cheeks.
