I asked. "Well, what I was trying to tell you was that you should take a long vacation." She said. "Oh!" She exclaimed. "Let me re-phrase that." She added on. "You should take a long vacation somewhere not even close to here." She said that getting louder each word. "Also, I'll make sure the paparazzi shows up." She also added on. Vacation! Long! I thought. The worst thing that I'd ever imagine in my entire life, but I'm not ever going to say a word to Spitfire. Hay, it might not even be that bad.............Or will it? //-------------------------------------------------------// The Ride //-------------------------------------------------------// The Ride As we walk up to the train I feel...Oh, I don't know, like nervous.Yes! Nervous. "I don't know about this Spitfire. Don't you think that a month is a little too long?" I said nervously. "No I don't. Unless you have something to object about." She gave me a stern look. "Uh. Heh. No." I replied looking down. "Cheer up Soarin, it's not like the end of the world......Is it?" She chuckled a little. "Well-Well I guess your right. I need a vacation." I gave her a small smile. "That's the spirit." She said ruffling his mane. "Hey, quite that." I said pushing her away. "Okay. Time to get going." she told me. "Bye." I said to her. "Bye, Soarin." She replied. I walk onto the train and sit in a seat, and the train guy closed the door. I sat in a car with only two or three other ponies. LATER ON........... We finally showed up to the train station. Final- What! What! Out of all places Spitfire had to send me, she sent me here. Soarin thought, but his thoughts were cut of by a sunset yellow stallion with emerald green eyes blurted out "Howdy! Welcome to APPAALLOOOSSAAA!!!" To all of the ponies in that general area. "Uh......Ah-" I was going to say something, but that yellow stallion pushed the whole group of ponies to what was called "the finest places of Appaloosa" "And here is the best-" The first thing the stallion said for everyplace we have stopped so far. "And here is the greatest view of our apple orchard." He finished with a smile. Everypony just starred with a creeped out smile. I just looked at the stallion in confusion. "How could a stallion have so much knowledge, memory, strength, and compassion." I thought. "Okay. Now I just sound dumb." I thought again. I just look at the orchard in amazement. How could a orchard look so be beautiful  in a place like this. Not like this place is horrible it's just that an orchard in a desert like this is like super rare. My thoughts were cut off by the same stallion that cheerfully showed us all of Appaloosa. "Hey there! Mah name's Braeburn. What's yours?" He said cheerfully to me. That's when I noticed that the ponies that Braeburn showed the town to where gone. "Uh..Soarin. Soarin Windsong." I responded back to Braeburn. Braeburn smiled, not a big smile, but just a smile. "Well it's mighty nice getting to meetchya Soarin. Hope to see you around town sometime. Bye!" Braeburn said trotting away. I just smiled. New problem. All of a sudden- ENDDAYDREAMENDDAYDREAMENDDAYDREAMENDDAYREAM "Hello? Hello? Hello?!" I heard a pony say. Then I remembered who it was. Braeburn. "Wha? Huh? Oh!" I exclaimed. "Hey. You okay Soarin?" I heard Braeburn ask. "Uh...Yeah. Yeah. I'm okay." I responded. "So. Uh. Did you find someplace to stay while your here?" He asked me. "Uh. Well...No. No I didn't." I looked down. "Well... If ya wanted I could let ya stay in one of mah spare bedrooms if ya liked to?" He asked me very shyly and nervously. Braeburn also gave me the pouty face except he didn't stick out his bottom lip. I wonder why? "Well.. Uh... I.." I stuttered. "Well I want to, but I just don't know what he's capable of." I thought to myself, then finally made my decision. "Yes. Thank-you for your kindness." With that, Braeburn smiled and we were on our way to his place. //-------------------------------------------------------// Dinner talk..................... //-------------------------------------------------------// Dinner talk..................... I wake up to Braeburn jumping on the bed singing "Four little fillies jumping on the bed! One fell off and broke their head! Ma called the doctor and the doctor said! No more fillies jumping on the bed!" I kept bouncing up and down scared of falling on the floor. "Brae.......Burn...........Stop..................Please!" I tried to call out but was failing to do so. Braeburn stopped. I get off the bed, and so does he. "Thank- you!" I gritted my teeth while trying to say that. "Uh. Sorry." He apologized to me looking at the floor. I walk over to him and lift his head with my hoof. "Sorry I did that, I should have said that a little more nicer." I said to him very nicely. He still didn't look at me. "You want to go eat?" I ask him with a smile. He looks at me then responds dramatically, "Yes please." and walks out of the room. I follow. Once we get downstairs he leads me into the kitchen. It looked like a chefs kitchen. With all the utensils and pots & pans. "Whoa..." I said. "It's. It's-" I was trying to say something but the words just didn't seem to come out. "Speechless?" Braeburn asked with a grin on his face. "Yeah. I guess so." I say. "Can you just sit down right here please, and I will go get dinner?" I think what Spitfire is going to tell me. she didn't sound happy when she called me down. Well.... She never sounds happy unless shes drunk. As soon as I walked up to the door I already felt like I was going to pass out. I knock on the door......and wait....."Come in!" I heard Spitfire yell I go to open the door then stop and thought, "Well here we go." I open the door and see Spitfire doing papers. "Uh....Hey...Uh Spitfire." "Hello Soarin." She said. "Close the door!" She Growled. I quickly closed the door. "Okay." She smiled a small smile. "So, I called you down here for reason." I just starred wide eyed with surprise. "What?" She looked at me in a confused way. I tried to snap myself out of it but it's so rare to see Spitfire without a serious face. "Uh...Oh! Uh... Nothing. Um.. I'm okay. Keep talking." I gave her a smile. "Okay....." She said with an unknown face of confusion. "Anyways, I've been watching you for the last couple of days, and I've been thinking that-" She stopped and looked at me for a second acting like what she was about to say would end the world DAYDREAM "Soarin?" Spitfire said. "Your fired." She smiled acting like the whole thing was okay. "What!" I yelled out, "Wha- Why!? If you fire me something really bad will happen like the-" he stopped wide eyed looking as scared as ever. "The apocalypse." END DAYDREAM "Soarin?" Spitfire said. "Hey Soarin, You in there?" "Uh....What? Huh... Oh! Yeah! I wonder what Spitfire planned for me. I thought. 1 HOUR LATER........ I finally got done packing for the trip. I hope that Spitfire found me a place where there is a wash and drier machine, I might need it. I might not. Anyway, I got everything done, now all I do is wait.....................................................and wait.........................................................................and wait. LATER ON........... "Soarin." I heard someone say I couldn't make it out. "Soarin." I heard again. "Soarin!" Now I knew who was trying to get my attention. It was Spitfire. "Uh....." I groaned. "SOARIN!" Spitfire yelled. "Ah-OUCH!" I yelled. "What?! Did I fall asleep? Dangit!" I blurted out. I jumped up and grabbed my bags and started for the door. "Soarin!!!" Spitfire yelled as loud as she could. "What are you doing!?" She questioned me. "I have to go to the place to the place and do that thing." I responded back sounding like I didn't know what I was talking about. "Well the train doesn't get here until twelve o' clock smart-one." she said. "and it's only eleven, thirteen." She added. "Oh.....No comment...." I said out of the blue. "Does that mean we should get going?" I questioned. "We?! You mean YOU?" she responded. "Oh..Right. Sorry" i said. "Yes we should get going. If we don't go know we might be late by a minute or two before the train leaves." She added. //-------------------------------------------------------// A new chapter //-------------------------------------------------------// A new chapter We get to the house where Braeburn lived. I and was pretty surprised of how good the place looked. I mean wow! He looked at me and smiled, "Well, this is it." We both looked at his home. "Home sweet home." He said and walked in. "Coming or what?" He asked. "Oh! yeah. okay." I replied. We walk in Braeburn's house, and I look around. "Wow. This looks... I don't know how to explain it." I said in amazement. "It's a good or bad answer." Braeburn replied. "It looks great." I said with a smile. "Now that's better." Braeburn said. "Now just follow me upstairs and I can show you your room." Braeburn told me, and I followed him upstairs to what was going to be my room. "Here it is" He said, and I looked into what looked a beautiful hotel room you would find in Canterlot. "it's not much, but it should do. I hope. If it makes you happy?" He asked me very nervously with a smile. "Oh would it. It looks awesome! Thank's Braeburn." I exclaimed with happiness. "Here." I said to him grabbing a small sack of bit's, holding it out to him. "Aw shoot. You don't have to do that for me. I mean, is this really necessary Soarin?" He asked. "Yes it is. I mean it's only like super rare to find something this good in a really nice looking place like this. It's. Just. Rare. You know what I mean?" I ask Braeburn in dramatic concern. "Uh. Ah think so, but I'm not really sure what ya talkin about." He responded. I walk in the bedroom and set my bags on the floor. "Okay... Thanks for everything Braeburn. I don't know what I would do without you." I said to him felling mighty thankful inside "No problem partner. Oh, and see you at dinner." he replied back. "What's for dinner?" I ask. "That's for me to know and you to find out. Okay?" Braeburn replied with a smile. He closed the door and went downstairs. I  went over to the bed and laid down on it. Wow! The bed was super soft and comfy, and with that I started to doze off. ................................................................................................................................................................................................. As I cook dinner I wonder about all the stuff that is happening in my life right this second. Meeting somepony new, letting them stay in my house and last making dinner for them and I. Here's the thing I feel like this stallion is a blessing for me. I feel a little more social than I used to be. He also makes me feel more comfortable around other ponies. So I guess this stallion is the blessing Celestia sent me, but I'm not one-hundred percent sure. Well just have to wait and see.
