"Rarity really thank you, but is this really necessary? I don't think I'm gonna be needing a suit working on the farm with Bloom." I mentioned trying to assure Rarity that I didn't need anything from her. Though the gesture on her part was nice, it felt as if it was a huge inconvenience.

"Michael please, I'm doing this from the bottom of my heart. I'm sure you never wore a suit before well aside from that date you had with Sweetie all those months ago." Rarity mentions giggling a bit as I nodded scratching the back of my head as she forcefully brought my arm down to measure my arms.

"Well honestly the only time I had to wear a suit was to present my work to my bosses when it was something huge. With me being here in Equestria and everything being bartered down to reasonable prices I don't see the need to actually have much money around."

"And consider you have almost 150,000 bits to your name you aren't in need of any money any time soon."

"Wellll technically 90% of that money belongs to my sisters, as a part of my mom and dad's will and 50% of that money is from their life insurance policy. So I only get 25,000 bits while my sisters get 135,000 bits when they're all grown up and ready to move." I said shrugging a bit.

"Oh dear, I'm sorry for bringing up such foul memories you mustn't want to relive them." Rarity had a clear sympathetic mind on her apology but I really didn't care. It broke my heart hearing my parents died the first few weeks were upsetting but eventually I got over it, as the same I got over my grandmother's death. I learned to cope with it by just getting my mind on the positive memories they gave me.

"It's fine Rares really, my sisters are the ones who don't deal with grief as well as I do. They're still so young so from time to time I know I'm gonna have to be there for them."

"I know you'll be the best big brother to them, oh away from the dreadful topic would you like a top hat or fedora to go with your suit?" She asks

"Uh no thanks I'm not really the hat wearing type of guy. But I do have a request, when you're finished creating that free suit you're giving me, I insist you take my actual order and create me a peacoat jacket. I know, I know, it's summer, but I like to prepare. There's only a few weeks of summer left before I gotta buckle down and sign my sisters up for school and during that time it's gonna get colder." Rarity only smiles and nods.

"Of course, I'll bill you once I get started on it. I already have your measurements so no coming back for another time." I nodded as I stepped off the podium and looked at Rarity, her belly rather large as her baby would come in only a few weeks. I worry for that mare, for someone who's so attentive for detail in her fashion works, she often neglects her wellbeing.

"Rares, don't you think it's time you ya know get some rest. You've been up for almost two hours measuring me." I gave her a concerned look as she rolls her eyes.

"You're like Spikey, always worried about my wellbeing. Don't worry I'm fine, before this baby I actually worked ten hours getting customers their clothing ready. I remember when I was a few years younger, oh goodness I wish I stayed that way forever. Anyway I remember I stayed up all night trying to get Sapphire Shores's costumes ready for her big performance that I didn't sleep until 4:00 in the morning. After that I had to work on my sister's costumes ready for her stage play the following evening. Truth is my heart as a fashionista will never faultier even if my body wants to quit." Rarity smile was always gentle and soft like a sparkling pearl. "Oh and another time my friends they were so awfully picky about their gala dresses that they even shared their creative thoughts, as much as I love my friends they have awful sense of fashion."

"Well I won't question you, you're pretty much my only tailor. And as much as I don't want to admit it, it's good that you're my world famous tailor after all owning a lot of shops around equestria must be troubling."

"Well I sometimes deal with that, but Spikey is actually the one who attends with that. His knowledge on managing finances and location is what keeps them up."

"So you aren't struggling financial that's great, I rather not hear that your daughter can't have what she wants because of finances."

"Oh I'm going to spoil this little filly rotten when she comes out." Rarity says giggling as she rubs her belly. I smiled as I saw another side of Rarity aside from her fashion eye and mind, I saw the motherly side of Rarity that just wanted her daughter to be happy.

"Have you thought of a name? I'm sure it's been hard deciding on one." I pointed out as I lean on a table nearby, she shakes her head as she rolls up a measuring tape with hand and places it back into a small container, the paper where my measurements were kept were in her breast pocket where she kept it for safe keeping.

"I haven't decided on a name that's delicate, and yet menacing enough for a unicorn mixed dragoness yet. It's a lot harder then you think."

"I honestly wouldn't know Rares, I'm not a father and as for being one in the future that's a long shot."

"Oh and do you think you're not up to being a father, from what I've seen you've got the makings of a rather gentle and caring father." It was reassuring Rarity would say that, but me as a father would take both a lot of time and some talking to by my spouse. And me getting married was a whole nother monster all together, though I'm not unopposed to the idea.

"Before I could actually make a child, I'd need to be married ya know actually have an idea on how I'm gonna support my child. And as far as things go I make 12 bits an hour at the farm and paying taxes along with everything like water, heat, and electricity. I'm not gonna have much left over for a kid. Trust me I'm just trying to live life while supporting two really excitable fillies who have the attention span of a gnat."

"Well think of it this way, you work 8 hours a day for I'd say for five days a week. So multiply the 12 bits you get by 8 and then multiple the daily pay by each week. So multiply 12 by 8 then you'd have 92 bits a day, after a week of hard work you have 480 bits then multiply it by each week you work so maybe more or less 1,920 bits a month. After subtracting monthly use of electricity, heat, and water. You'll be spending almost 560 bits for all utilities combined and then say food and entertainment would be 700 bits a month. Then you'd have almost 660 bits left over for yourself! Well then there's taxes you'd be left with moreover 125 bits." I stopped her before she could continue.

"I'm just gonna end it here Rares, simple way of saying I'm not ready for kids. Not with my pay, and as for what I'm paying for heat, electricity, and water. I'm doing just fine. And I don't spend that much on food and entertainment." I argue as I have a deadpan look.

"Sure I burn the occasional grilled cheese sandwiches here and there, but cmon who doesn't." I stated trying to defend myself.

"You and Sweetie Belle are one in the same, both of you cannot cook." Rarity mentions laughing as I blushed and rubbed the back of my head. "Also It's only an example darling, no need to get huffy. I'm sure you have savings so I wouldn't worry about struggling."

"Right, whatever you say Rares, look I gotta go. And please can you do me a favor please take a short beauty nap, it'll be beneficial to your health." I began taking my leave and exited the boutique, with my sisters being babysat by Pinkie I'd say they were in good enough hands. Though I do worry on the progress of the trust Fluttershy accidentally broke when revealing my sister and mine presence in Equestria, I don't blame her but having their trust broken so easily my sisters aren't as forgiving.

Walking through the streets of Ponyville I began to think of ways I could help restore the relationship between Fluttershy and my sister. Unfortunately it would be their decision when they forgave her, I would hate a good babysitter like her to go away suddenly.

She was perfect, always there for my sisters, kept them happy when I couldn't, her soft pink hair being the perfect hue, her soft teal eyes sparkling when she looked at me, and that voice of hers. To me a body was secondary but if she had perfect personality then it was amazing.

"Oh god, do I have a crush on Fluttershy? Or am I thinking of her as a friend would, then again a friend wouldn't really talk about someone's eyes or mane like they were a lovesick puppy." As I began thinking more about the prospect of a 24 year old mare sounding amazing to a 20 year old stallion my mind was shaken as I looked to see Silver Spoon smiling, her finger wagging in front of my nose as I looked at those blue eyes of hers.

"That's so weird, your eyes looked straight through me. Are you okay?" She asks.

"Uh yeah fine, I'm just fine. I was just thinking is all. Anyway what's up Silver." I said smiling as she nods her eyes closed as she began tapping her chin.

"Well I need your help, and the jewelry shop is closed because Rosie had to leave for some big order in Manehatten. With fashion week in a few days I needed your opinion on something, I have a few dresses I needed to model and I can't wait for Rosie's opinion either." I gave a suspicious look to her and shook my head.

"I minored in photography just to look at buildings not at women. And in all honesty I can't give you a second opinion either." Silver only shook her head and tapped her head.

"Most guys would instantly say hell yes let me so those puppies out and about." She gave herself a deep manly voice to put emphasis on her point.

"Well I ain't like most guys." I flicked her nose, she lets out a hmph before making her nose wiggle it a bit, as she took my hand. She looked deep into my eyes and gave me a pouty look.

"Oh please, please, please if I don't have a second opinion then I won't be able to perform my job correctly and if I don't perform my job perfectly my contract won't be renewed and I'll be out of a job and house all because you won't help me." She gave an overly dramatic stance as I gave her deadpan look before sighing.

"Fine, fine, look you convinced me. I'll help you out. But let me say this, you only get 3 of those before you lose those feminine charms to convince me." I said smiling as she flashes a large smile and takes my hand.

I wasn't really opposed to Silver dragging me to who knows where, it was refreshing knowing that I could still make friends even if I'm a fish out of water. But the relationship I had with her was much more then just friendship, or so I thought. She was special, kind, and adorable. Would I try anything while I saw her model for me, no. I had too much respect for this mare to even try it not that I'd reject her for even trying to get a relationship with her.

Then again aside from the CMC I had to deal with a alicorn princess who has clear deep feelings for me, a shy babysitter who has really clouded feelings, and finally a rather beautiful and nice mare who works in the model industry. Whatever came next was just a great sign that she was a friend.

This was the worst possible favor I could ever take, let me explain why exactly. When Silver Spoon mentioned that I was suppose to look at her model clothes I didn't expect her to actually take twenty minutes each time she had to change.

"Ugh why did I let you drag me into this!" I shouted as Silver Spoon giggled in the next room.

"Because you love me too much to see me cry." She says giving me a pouty sound voice as I repeatedly slammed the notebook Silver gave me to note down her key points against my heat.

"Are you actually changing into a dress for twenty minutes or are you checking your phone and taking selfies."

"Oh please selfies the dumbest thing I've ever heard, and yes it take time to get ready. Ya know if you wanna speed things up you could always just judge me in the changing booth."

"I don't think so Silvia, that's a little inappropriate don't you think?" I asked.

"Oh please, it's not like anyone's around." She tries to reassure me but I refused as I simply shook my head.

"I don't think so Silvia."

"Silvia?" She questions. "Where the heck did ya get that name?"

"Eh just thought of it, since both of our names start with Silver I thought hey maybe giving you a nickname would work. If you don't like it I could always call you by something else." She stops for a moment before shaking her head and smiling.

"It's fine, I actually like it." She exits the changing room and stands there, her hair in a ponytail while she had a small pair of cat ears, along with that she turns to have a long cat tail tied behind around her waist along with a pair of mittens that were shaped like cat paws as she bows rising up from the bow she gives me a wink making laugh.

As I did she giggles too, the two of us had a short laugh at the getup as u looked once more, stifling laughs.

"What's with the costume?" I asked stifling laughs every once in awhile.

"I dunno, I think these were costumes from last year's Nightmare Night's party."

"Nightmare Night?" I questioned, I had an extremely vague understanding of holidays of this world, I knew of Hearths Warming Eve as Sweetie told me about it. It was similar to Christmas as there's presents given to one another. Though instead of Santa giving the presents the parents would outright give the kids the presents, but I wasn't about to break my tradition with my sisters of Santa existing. Sure they're pretty old to still believe in Santa, but I didn't want to ruin it for them.

"Yeah, last year the modeling agency had this party for everyone working here. It was so much fun! It was the only time in the year where Dia wasn't so well bitchy. Don't get me wrong she's my best friend and I love her to death, but sometimes she gets so unbearable I just want to slap her."

"Well maybe it's the fun of everything that she lets loose. I mean it wasn't till now that I found out you had a joking side to you. I'm still wondering if that cast costume was really a costume, or it had matching panties and bra." I said with a laugh as Silvia punched my shoulder smiling as she did.

"Well there are panties and bras in the box, with a whole bunch of animal tails, ears, and mittens. I think that was for a scrapped lingerie set." Silvia points out as taps her chin, I still couldn't get use to her tapping her chin with a cat paw mittens. It was both adorable and funny to look at.

The two of us got along relatively well as all was quiet in the building, the silence was something of a frightening prospect, to think that something would be around unannounced was shocking to say the very least.

As the two of us looked at one another in the changing room, I smiled as she did the same. We didn't say a word as we stared into each other's eyes I blinked.

"I win!" She shouts with happiness, she begins removing the cat ears, tail, and mittens. Tossing them in the box smiling as she helps me up from the ground.

"Hey uh Silver, can I ask you something?" Silvia got serious as she turned to me, her happy fun loving demeanor changed one of a serious yet shy demeanor.

"Yeah what's up?" I asked

"Remember when I told you about fashion week being in a few days, I wanted to know if you'd be willing to come with me. To Manehatten, I'm really nervous about the whole thing and I feel like I'll screw it up somehow. It's my first big time walk on the cat walk, I've only ever down photoshoots but with ponies looking at me judging me for my body and how good it'll look with designer outfits on me. I just need support." Silvia seemed lost, her eyes were casted down as she seemed scared.

"You really dropped something on me, but I could always change my schedule around and be there for you." I said rubbing the back of my head, sometimes I feel way too nice. But I think it was worth it, Silvia's face brighten up as she hugged me as I twirled her around.

"This is gonna be so amazing!"

"Uh why so happy? I'm just gonna be there for moral support."

"Ehehehe sorry, it's just it's the first time I have someone other then Rosie being with me in Manehatten. Usually I'm just there as a spectator and this the first time I'm being there as an actual front running model." I laughed bit and smiled.

"I just hope you don't get scared last second and drop out, anyway how long do I have to ya know get ready."

"Three days." She says smiling as I nod.

"Three days. That'll be enough time hey I wanted to ask you a question. I've been hearing about this gala in Canterlot what's it about?" I asked with a curious look.

"Oh the Grand Galloping Gala, I heard it's a huge a event for only the elite of Canterlot you have to be lucky to be given a ticket. I got a ticket a few years ago, it was mostly from Dia giving me her plus one ticket. It would be boring, unless you create your own fun." Silvia shrugs and looks away. "Anyway I think that's at the end of the month. Near the beginning of September, but that's about the brunt of it."

"Ah good to know, hey let's go get some lunch a little hungry." Silvia nods and grabs her purse following me out.

I could say at the very least Silvia has been a good friend, with her endless teasing she had a good heart in her.

As I sat in my house living room my sisters were busy, Dawn helped Amy perfect her sign language, even though Amy could talk she didn't want to lose a side of her that's been honed for years now.

"No that's below, not above." Dawn scolded Amy as she rolls her eyes before doing the correct signal.

"Girls, I need to tell ya two something." I turned down the TV as the two faced me with their awfully perky smiles.

"What's up?" Dawn asks her hands in her lap.

"Well in three days I've got to go out of town to support a friend, and before you say anything. No she's not a girlfriend, she's a friend. And you two are going to have to stay somewhere, so I asked Fluttershy if she could take care of you two. As much as it hurts me that I keep pestering her she knows you two well enough where she needs to be trusted again."

"I dunno Mike, Fluttershy told everyone we were here, if Discord and Princess Luna hadn't locked Celestia out of their spell we'd be in a foster home and you in jail."

"I understand that girls, but you have to understand Fluttershy never lies and lying to her is like me telling you girls that I didn't love you. It hurts and she knows she messed up, so please try to forgive her. You'll only be there for the weekend I promise." Both fillies looked at one another before nodding.

"Okay Mike, we'll go. But it'll be hard for us to trust her again." Both fillies crossed their arms in unison.

"Just try to forgive her, I'm not forcing you either." The two nod as they continue with Amy's lesson as I turned up the TV once more.

I had a feeling that the weekend would be long and extremely interesting at the very least.
