"HORSES, TALKING HORSES EVERYWHERE!"
There really is no escape from Equestria when you're being careless with portals. Tavish accidentally tumbles into another world, maybe even dimensions where horses and other creatures can talk, have huge eyes, and are very colorful. There are also many other strange creatures, such as dragons, griffons, etc.
With a portal device, there is much more to be done that is fun in Equestria.
