Two Flashes, But No Light.

It was a beautiful day across Equestria, the birds were chirping, the sky was cloudless and the sun was shining high. Everything seems right with the world that one fine, perfect day. Princess Twilight Sparkle The Princess Of Friendship had just earned her new title and was on 'The Friendship Express' on her way to Canterlot. When she arrived there was an unusual amount of royal guards there. She quickly noticed her big brother, Shining Armor yelling at the guards.

"You MUST prove you are worthy of this! So help me if anything happened to my only and little sister I will-" he said getting cut off by his sister.

"Sweet Celestia Shining! Don't be so mean to them!" she said putting her hoof down.

"What? I am just telling them the requirement to be your guard little sis!" he said putting his hoof in the direction of all the guards.

Twilight Sparle was quickly confused and had no clue what he meant.

"My own guard? Wha-what do you mean?!" Twilight said as confused as ever.

Shining sighed and said, "Well since you are the newest princess to get her title and you are the one of the protectors of Equestria, you need someone to guard you."

"I think I'll be just fine with my friends. We are extremely powerful, if you have forgotten." Twilight said, poking Shining. "If anything you should be preparing a guard for you own daughter. You know Skyla is supposed to be born sometime very soon."

Shining immediately froze up for a second then continued. "Well, fine, I'll get a guard for Skyla. But, you have to get a guard too. Two or nothing, Twiley."

Twilight sighed. She had to do it for Skyla, even though she didn't need or want one. Twilight kept on thinking, and her decisions where changing by the second.These thoughts made Twilight's decision come to a whole.

"Okay, Shining, Skyla and I shall have our own royal guards."
