Chapters In Cloudsdale, there are 3 unidentical filly triplets who just moved there. Cloudsdale is above Ponyville, so it doesn't take long to get there. Today is the triplet's first day at Ponyville Elementary. Hola was the only one of the triplets who had brown hair, and he frizziest out of them all, even her other sister, who's ironically named Frizz. Frizz and Hola were combing their hair with afro combs, trying to get their hair less knotty. Bea is the only one who has straight hair for some reason and has no trouble combing her hair. Part of her jet black hair is covering her left eye. "Ok kiddos, I'm taking you to school." Their dad, who's name is Streak calls out. The triplets sigh in unison. "Aw dad... why can't mum take us? Or why can't we go ourselves?" Hola moans. "Your mother is trying to find a job up here, and you don't know where the school is, so I have to take you for the next couple of weeks until you can make your own way there." Her father replies. The triplets sigh once again and follow their father towards Ponyville elementary.
Once there, the triplets say goodbye to their dad who flies back up to Cloudsdale. "Well girls, this is it." Bea begins. "Day 1 in Ponyville school. Let's see how this goes." The triplets take steps in unison towards the entrance, but Frizz feels a tap on her shoulder. All 3 fillies turn around and see 2 ponies. Diamond Tiara and Silver spoon. "Oh look. 3 blank flanks! There' actually some new blank flanks here!" Diamond Tiara mocks, pointing at Frizz's flank. "So what if we don't have our cutie marks?" Frizz says. "So what? Cutie marks mean you find your talent! You're all stpid and talentless because you don't have your marks!" SIlver Spoon adds on, laughing. Bea looks sad. "You're being mean!" She says, going right up into Diamond Tiara's face. "I'm being EDUCATIONAL! You stupid blank flank!" Diamond Tiara shouts right in Bea's face. "All 3 of you are blank flanks! Get some talents, you useless fillies!" Diamond says again. The triplets grow sad looks on their faces, taking in what the two fillies before them are saying. "Hey! Stop that right now!" A southern american accent shouts.
It's a yellow filly who's also a blank flank. She's followed by a unicorn and a pegasus, who are blank flanks too. The trio of friends walk right up to Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. "I've had enough of you teasing and being mean to fillies and colts . Leave them alone!" The orange pegasus says. "Yeah! You're both being mean for no reason. Stop it!" The white unicorn screeches, her voice cracking. Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon snicker to themselves, and head inside the school. The trio of friends turn to the triplets. "Are ya'll okay? They can be really mean." The yellow earth pony asks. "Yeah, we're fine. And I just realised you don't have cutie marks either!" said Hola, pointing to the yellow filly's flank. "Yeah, me and mah friends have been like this for a while, but I'm glad we've found another three fillies like us! I'm Applebloom." The yellow filly, now Applebloom states. "I'm Sweetie Belle!" the white unicorn exclaims rather loud. "And I'm Scootaloo!" The last filly says. The triplets give awkward looks at each other before introducing themselves. "I'm Frizz!" "I'm Bea." "And I'm Hola!" "How do you spell your name, Hola?" Sweetie Belle asks with a curious look. "H-O-L-A. The Spanish way. And yes, my name is 'Hello' in Spanish for some reason." Hola replies. "My name is spelt B-E-A, even though it's pronounced 'Bee'. It's weird."
After an awkward few minutes standing there, the 6 make their way into calss, where all the fillies and colts are sitting waiting for Miss Cheerilee. Before taking their seats, Scootaloo asks the triplets a question. "Kinda just realised, but you 3 look very similar. Well, apart from hair. Are you sisters?" "Yeah, we're triplets. Me and Frizz changed our hairstyles to make them frizzy, whilst Bea kept hers straight." Hola answers. Suddenly, Miss Cherrilee makes her way into the classroom. The fillies rush to their seats, for the start of another day.
Before Miss Cheerilee could even open her mouth, Sweetie Belle started shouting: "We have new students!" and jumping out of her seat. "Ok Sweetie, who are the new students?" Frizz, Bea and Hola slowly raise their hooves, looking around the classroom nervously. Every pony their had their cutie mark except for them and the CMC. "Aw, ok. If you don't mind, would you three mind coming up to the front and introducing yourselves?" Miss Cheerilee asks. Then the triplets make their way to the front of the classroom, on-looked by their classmates. "Um... I'm Frizz..." "I'm Hola!" "And my name is Bea!" A few seconds go by with an awkward silence, before Hola decides to speak up. "We're triplets, and we just moved to Cloudsdale about a week ago, and since Ponyville isn't that far from there, our parents decided for us to come to this school." Another few seconds of awkward silence goes by, and Frizz's face is scrunching up in pure cringiness (not a word, but OH WELL!). A colt puts his hoof up. "Yes, Striker? Do you have a question for these fillies?" "I do." Striker begins. He has slick, jet black hair, with a tire on fire for a cutie mark. "You said you were triplets. Are you unidentical triplets because you kind of don't look the same as each other. Mostly hair wise." Bea decides to answer this question. "Well, when we were around 6 or 7 years old, everypony, even our parents got us confused because Frizz and Hola used to have the same hair as me. So eventually, Frizz and Hola decided to get frizzy mane styles on their mane and tail so ponies wouldn't get confused by us." Bea explains, hardly stopping to regain her breath. Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon snicker to themselves in the corner of the classroom, not being noticed by any students. Another colt puts his hoof up, but quickly puts it back down, breaking his gaze from the triplets. "What's the matter? Too scared to talk to girls?" Diamond Tiara whispers to the colt, trying not to burst out laughing. The colt rolls his eyes, then puts his face on his desk. The fact was, he thinks he knows something about the triplets and their family. He's not 100% sure, but he wants to get answers. He thought it wouldn't be best to ask the question in front of class.
During the rest of the lesson, the fillies and class get along well, and don't struggle. The bell rings. "Ok, class dismissed! Enjoy your few minutes of break, we have a new project to work on afterwards!" Miss Cheerilee class out whilst all students dash out of the school and into the playground. The CMC wait behind a bit for the triplets. "How do ya'll find the lesson?" Applebloom asks, patting Hola on the head. "Eeeeeh, good." The triplets reply in unison, laughing afterwards when they realised what they were doing. "Let's head outside. You haven't seen the best of the playground!" Scootaloo exclaims, buzzing her wings and racing outside, followed by the others.
The playground is much bigger than Frizz, Bea and Hola thought it would be. They have two small pavilions, and a bunch of equipment. "We need to give ya'll the grand tour! Where would ya'll like to start?" Applebloom asks, standing in front of the triplets, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle joining her. "The first pavilion!" "The second pavilion!" "The swingset! I love swings!" The triplets shout out loud in unison. The CMC stare at them dumbfounded. "Oh, oh, oh! I have an idea!" Sweetie Belle says. "Since there's 3 of us, and 3 of them, each of us should take one of them to a place they want to look at. And the tour starts there!" The CMC shrug and nod. Applebloom takes Bea to the pavilion closest to them, Scootaloo takes Frizz to the swingset and Sweetie Belle takes Hola to the second pavilion.
Applebloom and Bea
"All right, this is the most popular pavilion of of the two! It has a mini arcade, colouring books, normal books, a table to sit and chat with ya friends. All fun things basically! Feel free to take a look around!" Applebloom explains, allowing Bea to run free. She runs to the table =, has a little loom around, runs over to the bookcase and takes a quick look at the books. Then goes to the arcade. It had 4 small machines fir for any filly or colt. "Oh my gosh, pacman! I used to play this all the time back in Manehatten." Bea squeals, fumbling for any bits. She frowns when she realises she didn't brink any of her pocket money. Applebloom taps her on the back. "Hey, I've got a bit. Here ya go!" She hands the bit to Bea, who's face lights up. She puts it into the machine and is speeding away at pacman. "Wow, you're good!" "Thanks!" After a few minutes, Bea stops playing and goes to sit down at the table and have a chat with Applebloom. Somepony bumps her out of the way, causing her to fall, followed by two high pitched laughs.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! That was so funny!" It's Silver Spoon. And Diamond Tiara. "Yep. I tripped the emo blank flank over, and it's more funny than fun itself!" Diamond Tiara snorts, pointing a hoof at Bea, who's slowly standing up. "I'm not an emo!" She shrieks, stomping a hoof on the ground. "You sure look like one of them! But you're also a blank flank! That means your talentless. ALso, thanks for the seats!" Diamond Tiara says, grinning and sitting down with Silver Spoon. Applebloom runs over inbetween the arguing ponies. "Hey! Can ya'll stop being rude and disrespectful! Bea hasn't done anything to you, and she's not an emo! Stop pushing others around like their dirt! You're not better than anypony! You too, Silver Spoon!" Bea smirks at Applebloom, and they both walk away to continue the tour.
Scootaloo and Frizz
Scootaloo takes Frizz over to the swing set, which is overpopulated by a swarm of fillies and colts. Scootaloo sighs in annoyance. "This is my favourite place, but I never get a chance on here because there's so many ponies hogging it. Sorry, it looks like you won't get a chance." Frizz stares at the swing set for a while, before sadly trotting off with Scootaloo.
Suddenly, the yelling gets ridiculously louder, which makes Scootaloo and Frizz turn around. A pegasus colt is standing up on his hind legs, spreading out his forelegs on one of the swings. "Let Frizz pass, she's new here!" He shouts. Scootaloo and Frizz's jaws drop, as they silently make their way to the swing set. "Thanks, uh..." Frizz begins. "Dallas. Call me Dallas. Nice to meet you Frizz!" Dallas says, holding out his hoof. Frizz shakes it. "How come you sound so confident saying me name? Even for a few weeks after I got this hairstyle, my parents and others got confused between me and my sisters!" Frizz asks. Dallas spends no time coming up with an excuse. "Uh... it just sticked I guess. Miss Cheerilee read out the names on the register AND you introduced yourselves, so I guess it was no biggy!" Dallas replies, shrugging. Frizz shuffles past the other ponies and begins to swing away on the swing set. Dallas walks away, taking a sigh of relief. He wanted to tell Frizz and her sisters the truth. He can't. He doesn't want to ruin anything.
Lastly, Sweetie Belle and Hola
"Haha! That's so funny! Your name is 'Hello' in Spanish! Nice to meet you, Hello!" Sweetie Belle chirps, bursting out laughing (with a few snorts in-between). Hola just smirks and rolls her eyes. "So... can you fly?" Sweetie asks, poking at Hola's wings. "Well, yes, I can. My sisters can too."
"Our friend, Scootaloo can't fly. Doctors say it's because of a delay in wing growth." Hola frowns at Sweetie's story. "Aw, I wish I could help." She sighs, sipping the last of her orange juice. After a few quick little conversations about random things, Hola and Sweetie Belle are easily bored. After all, the pavilion they are in hardly contains anything, apart from a mini cafe and some books to read. It wasn't swarmed that much. Infact, Hola and Sweetie Belle were the only ponies in there. Well, apart from the filly who ran the mini cafe.
"...So... how old are you?"
"10."
"Uh... any pets?"
"Used to have a pomeranian puppy. His name was Teddy, but he ran away. Guards are still looking for him to this day. And--"
"Wow, I made this really depressing quick, didn't I? Well, I'm going to get a cupcake. One for you too. Then, we'll take the tour elsewhere." Hola says, cutting herself off. She awkwardly shuffles over to the teeny tiny counter, with the bright blue filly standing there, still looking at her. He looks exactly like Hola. Same coat colour, same eye colour, same mane colour. The only difference is the mane STYLE. It was exactly like Bea's. Hola thought this was weird, but after all, ponies have doppelgängers. "Hey, welcome to Ponyville. Or Cloudsdale. I know you're name is Hola. I'm Dakota, nice to meet you!" Dakota says, hanging out her hoof over the counter. Hola shakes it. "You weren't in my class, how do you know my name?" Hola asks. "My twin brother, Dallas, told me about you and your sisters. I was late because I had to go get braces in. Still hurts." Dakota says, smiling with her teeth, showing her dark purple braces. "Well... can we have two cupcakes? Again..." "Sure! What flavour? Chocolate, raspberry, plain, mint, bana--" "Woah, woah, woah! Chocolate will be fine!" Hola interrupted, being handed the cupcakes. Sweetie Belle gobbles it down in just one bite. Hola is amazed. "Wow! How did you do that?" Sweetie Belle just smirks. "Magic!" She replies.
After the tour, there was only about 2 minutes of break left, so the CMC and triplets decide to go back inside. The rest of the school day seemed to be okay. Some work was hard, some work was easy, but it was all okay. At least Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon didn't bother them for the rest of the day. It was home time, and the triplets were waiting for either of their parents to pick them up.
"Daddy, daddy! Teddy ran out!" a 3 year old Bea shouts, tugging at Strike's leg. "I told you to keep the gate closed!" He says back. "It wasn't me, I promise! It was Frizz!" "No, it wasn't me, it was Hola!" "It wasn't me, Teddy jumped over the fence! Mummy was filming it with her big camera, she went after him. Look!" Hola squeaks, giving Strike the small camera. Teddy was a little pomeranian dog a beautiful golden colour, who just jumped over the gate and made his way away from the home. Strike watched the few seconds of Teddy struggling to to climb over the gate, Blossom (the mother) chasing him down the Cloudsdale streets. "Will Teddy come home, daddy?" Bea asks, tears forming in her eyes. Strike hugs Bea, and tells her "He will. Your mother can get him. He'll come back. Teddy is a bright little boy, and I'd hate to see our first pet not return. He will come back." "Are you sure?" Hola asks. "I'm sure, girls. Don't. Worry." Teddy never came home. Cloudsdale is a city in the sky, and Teddy could be anywhere, or dead. The triplets are now 10 years old, their dog still lost.
"Frizz!"
"Huh?" Frizz snaps out of her trance and looks up. "Are you listening, Frizz?" Miss Cheerilee asks Frizz, a stern look on her face. "Yes I am. Sorry miss." Frizz murmurs, with Miss Cheerilee carrying on with the lesson. 1 hour later, the bell rings and the class of fillies and colts rush out the door, to meet their parents or find their own way home. Today, it was the triplets first time flying up to their home in Cloudsdale. Bea and Hola are chatting away, waiting for Frizz to come out. Finally, Frizz slumps out with a miserable look on her face, shoving past her sisters. "Hey Frizz, why the sad face?" Hola asks Frizz, poking her nose. Frizz whacks the hoof away and answers the question. "Something today reminded me of Teddy. You know, our puppy?" "Yeah..." Bea and Hola sigh together. The CMC are seen striding out, proud looks on their faces, until they see the triplets, who are sad. "What's wrong, girls?" Applebloom says (I'm not going to keep saying ask because that'd be boring), patting Bea on the back. "We're sad about our dog, Teddy. He ran away when we were 3. I bet he's dead now." Hola groans. Applebloom gasps. "Don't say that! I'm sure he's out there somewhere!" That cheers up the fillies a little bit. "Maybe we could look for him!" Sweetie Belle suggests. "Are your crazy?!" Bea spurts out, buzzing in the air. "He's been gone since we were 3, now we're 10 an there's no chance of finding him!" Bea lands back on the ground, and the CMC are not giving up yet. "There is always a chance! Maybe somepony out there who has him! Or maybe the PSPCA can tell us!" Scootaloo also suggests, winking. The triplets consider this, and begin to thi-- "NO TIME TO THINK! Let's go find Teddy!" Hola shouts, racing off with her sisters and the CMC.
"Yeah... this isn't working..." Scootaloo groans, kicking dirt as she trots down Ponyville. "Scoots is right, it's been 2 hours! We're never gonna find him." Sweetie Belle adds on, ruffling her perfectly curled hair. "Come on girls, don't give up! We promised the triplets we'd find Teddy! They're super special to him, can't you see?" Applebloom argues back. An hour ago, the triplets gave up the search and headed home, but the CMC offered to continue to search for him. They promised they'd find him, and call one of the triplets to collect the puppy. Well, now a dog. Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo nervously look at each other, then back at Applebloom. "Fine. We'll keep looking for him. But I'm going home as soon as it turns dark!" Scootaloo sighs. Then the three fillies travelled around Ponyville, but they stopped at a dead end. Technically, it wasn't really a dead end. It was Cloudsdale, hundreds of meters above the ground they're standing on right now. Scootaloo still can't fly, and it's quite obvious that Applebloom and Sweetie Belle can't. "Aw, dangit!" Sweetie Belle shouts, her voice cracking. "We can't get up there! Now we have no chance of finding him!" The CMC sit there, staring up at the patch of clouds that make up Cloudsdale.
Suddenly, a loud THUMP is heard when Rainbow Dash lands next to the pondering fillies. "Hey kiddies, what's wrong? You look worried." She asks the CMC, patting Scootaloo on the head. "We're looking for Frizz, Bea and Hola's dog, Teddy. He's a Pomeranian with a golden-like colour of his fur." Sweetie Belle begins. "He ran away when the triplets were 3, it's been... 7 years since that incident and we're trying to find him for them. They lost him in Cloudsdale, and we can't get up!" Applebloom adds on. Rainbow Dash smirks. "I'll take all of you up there if you want. But I'll accompany you because you don't know a way down, and you could fall." The CMC burst out in happiness, jumping around Rainbow Dash. After a few minutes of joyfulness, Rainbow Dash takes the three excited fillies up to Cloudsdale. Despite wanting to explore a whole new city, the CMC continue their journey to find Teddy.
"PLEASE, LET US IN!"
"No, I'm sorry. I told you, we can't let anypony into the house whilst it's being demolished!"
"But it was our old house!"
"Tough luck fillies."
Frizz, Bea and Hola decided to go look for their own dog again (after they got their parent's permission). When they first moved to Cloudsadale, in just a couple of days they had to move out due to an insect infestation. Then they moved to the house which they are currently living in now. They are back outside their old house, which is about to be demolished. But something is preventing the workers to do so. "So why do workers keep going in and out and we can't?" Hola frustratedly asks. "There's a dog in there who is refusing to leave. HE won't get off the settee, and we can't demolish it because we're not heartless, and are waiting for the dog to leave." The stallion worker answers back. Suddenly, the triplets' faces light up, and try to fly into the house, but the stallion stops them. "Ladies, I told you all that you cannot go i--" "IT COULD BE OUR DOG WE LOST 7 YEARS AGO! WEE NEED TO GET IN!" Bea shouts, dragging her sisters into the house.
They rush into the living room, which has another 2 stallion workers in it, and see a slightly bigger golden Pomeranian sitting on the settee. As soon as he sees the triplets, he jumps onto Hola's afro, burying himself in it. "Oh my gosh... IT'S REALLY TEDDY" She shrieks, nearly making the whole house shriek. Bea and Hola jump onto Hola, the dog falling out of her hair. They all share a huge hug with the dog running all over them. "Excuse me girls, but is this really your dog?" One of the workers asks. "We think so... we need to get proof though..."
1 day later...
"From what the scan says, Teddy is now 5 years old and is slightly malnourished. But with some food and water he should be fine." Twilight Sparkle says, stroking Teddy. The CMC and triplets have taken Teddy to Twilight's castle to see if they really found their lost dog. It was Teddy! "We're awful sorry we didn't manage to find him for you..." Applebloom said, sad. "What do you mean? He';s right here!" Bea points out, accidentally poking Teddy's nose. Applebloom shakes her head. "No, not that. It's just... we promised to find him FOR YOU. But we were to busy exploring Cloudsdale. We're mighty sorry." Bea just smiles, and hugs Applebloom. Soon, the CMC and triplets are in a huge group hug. Twilight simply looks on, grabbing the friendship diary and writing an entry with Teddy watching her.
"Teddy! Teddy! Teddy, come back boy!" Blossom shouted, chasing Teddy down the streets of Cloudsdale. She whistles, but Teddy carries on running, and turns a different direction. After 10 minutes of chasing, Blossom had lost Teddy, and returned to the house to tell her husband. Whilst the triplets were sleeping, Strike and Blossom went out in the dead of night with flashlights, looking for Teddy. They zoomed to the last place he was seen, and continued the search from there. 1 hour later, Teddy was no where to be found. The married couple sadly walked back to the house, returning without a little fluffy puppy in their hooves.
Days after the pegasus family moved out because of the insects, Teddy returned with two bags of dog treats, and a newspaper. One bag of treats was on his bag, and the other was in his mouth along with the newspaper. When re returned to the house, he found out that it was empty. But he walked in anyway, thinking that the family was just on holiday. He dumped everything in the middle of the living room floor, and hops onto the settee. Waiting.
