//-------------------------------------------------------// Into the Everfree Forest -by CaeCae- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Angel's Sickness //-------------------------------------------------------// Angel's Sickness Fluttershy opened the door to her cottage, and yawned. “The Farmer’s Market was so busy, and I’m so tired-“ Her sentence was cut off by the sound of a small cough from inside the cottage. She looked inside, and saw Angel, who was laying in the middle of the room, not looking so good. Of all the other times Angel had pretended he was sick, this time was the worst. Fluttershy rushed over to Angel. “Oh, my, Angel! Are you alright?” Angel responded with a small cough. Fluttershy looked very concerned, and picked him up. “Angel, it’s alright, we’ll get you all better.” She slowly flew out of the cottage, and locked the door. Next thing they knew, the pair arrived at the Ponyville Veterinarian. “Uh, an appointment for Angel, my bunny?” Fluttershy murmured. “What’s that?” the mare at the front counter said loudly. “A-an appointment for A-Angel the bunny?” Fluttershy said, a bit louder this time. “I can’t hear, you, honey.” said the mare. “Speak up.” Fluttershy squeaked. Then she heard a voice behind her. “Miss Check In Lady? Fluttershy means an appointment for Angel, her bunny.” Fluttershy turned around to see Rainbow Dash with Tank. “Oh, alright.” replied the mare. “Rainbow Dash?” questioned Fluttershy. “What are you doing here, at the veterinarian office?” Tank accidentally hit Rainbow in the head, and Angel coughed. “Tank needs a checkup.” Rainbow Dash replied, a little dizzy from getting hit in the head by Tank’s hard shell. “Angel is sick.” Fluttershy said, as she cradled Angel in her arms. Rainbow looked at the sniffling Angel. “Are ya sure that Angel is really sick? I mean, he’s played sick a few times.” “Oh, no!” Fluttershy said defensively. “I’m very sure he’s really sick. He has a temperature and… and everything!” The door to the veterinarian room swung open. “Angel?” called out the veterinarian. “Oh… that’s me.” said Fluttershy quietly. “Well, good luck!” Rainbow Dash called. Fluttershy walked into the veterinarian room, which was like any other icky vet room you've ever been in, and put Angel on a chair. “M-My bunny is sick, and I was wondering if you could help him.” she said shyly, petting Angel's head as he coughed and sneezed his little bunny heart out. (Not literally, lol.) “Well, of course dear.” said the mare. After a few minutes of checking Angel for a sickness, the veterinarian looked up. “Not anything I can identify.” she said honestly, and stopped looking in Angel's mouth with teeny tiny flashlight. “You should go visit more advanced animal doctors. In the meantime, just take care of your bunny.” She handed Fluttershy Angel. “Thank you.” Fluttershy whispered as she walked out of the room, through the check-in room, and out the door into the misty morning air. And just when she walked outside, Twilight walked by with her nose buried in a book. Twilight bumped into Fluttershy and dropped to the book. “Oh, hi Fluttershy.” Twilight said quickly, not glancing away from her book, even though it way laying on the sidewalk. “Hi Twilight.” Sighed Fluttershy. Twilight looked up from her book. Her gaze passed over Angel, and she sighed. “Is Angel sick again?” Twilight asked. Fluttershy nodded. Twilight looked unamused. “Really?” Twilight questioned, as Fluttershy nodded really fast. “Uh huh.” Twilight said, unconvinced of the poor health of Angel. Fluttershy hugged Angel defensively, and Angel started a coughing fit. “They can’t find a cure for my sweet little Angel bunny!” Exclaimed Fluttershy in a high, loud voice. (As loud as Fluttershy can even say) Twilight sighed exasperatedly again. “Do we need to visit Zecora?” Twilight said, a bit annoyed. Fluttershy feverishly nodded her head once again, and Angle sniffled for a bit in the awkward silence. And with that, they walked down the long road, all the way  across ponyville, to get to the unwelcoming entrance of the dark, looming, Everfree Forest. //-------------------------------------------------------// We're Off to See Zecora //-------------------------------------------------------// We're Off to See Zecora Twilight and Fluttershy, who was holding Angel, trotted down the cobblestone roads of Ponyville. Then suddenly, they heard a noise from inside Sugarcube Corner. Pinkie burst out of the door, and a few stray balloons flew out. "HAI! WHAT YA GUYS DOING?" Pinkie yelled in her usual loud voice. Twilight rolled her eyes. "Going to Zecora's" she said, covering her ears to protect them from Pinkie's yelling. Meanwhile, Fluttershy was frozen with fright from the surprise of Pinkie. "Please, Pinkie, don't talk so loud..." she whimpered. "Okay Fluttershy!" Pinkie turned to Twilight. "A QUEST? Can IIIIII come?" Fluttershy hugged Angel, who was once again, coughing. "I guess you can, Pinkie." she murmured. "YAAAY!" Pinkie cheered, as they walked further down the road to the Forest. As the ponies bounced, trotted, and flew down the road, Twilight saw Rainbow Dash with her head stuck in the roof of Rarity's boutique. "Oh, no." The three ponies muttered all at once. They all heard Rarity yell. "MY BOUTIQUE!!!" Rarity screamed out angrily. "RAINBOW DASH!!!" Rainbow finally managed to pull her head out of the roof, and whistled like she didn't even cause any damage. Rarity groaned as Fluttershy, Twilight, Pinkie, and Angel rushed over. "Rainbow Dash!!! You ruined my new roof!" Rarity whined. "It just got rebuilt from the last time you crashed into it!" Rainbow flew down from the roof. "Eheheh." she laughed nervously. To change the topic, Rainbow turned around to see the quartet of ponies and bunny, while Rarity steamed with anger behind her. "Oh, hi guys! What's up?" she asked. Pinkie took a deep breath and spoke 100 miles an hour. "Angel'ssicksoweneedtogotoZecora'splaceintheEverfreeForesttogetapotiontohelpAngelfeelbetter!" Rainbow Dash nodded her head and leaned to Fluttershy. "Sooo... what did she say?" Fluttershy sighed and spoke quietly and slowly. "Angel is sick. We need to go to Zecora's for a potion." "Oooohhhhh. Okay!" Rainbow Dash grinned. "Can I come?" Twilight nodded. "I guess you can." "SWEET!" Rainbow yelled. Rarity walked over to them. She had calmed down from her furiousness. (Is that a word? IDK!) "Well, as long as you all are going, I might as well come along, Even though the Everfree Forest is so... icky." Rarity said and wrinkled her nose at the thought to the Forest. "Well, come along then." Twilight walked further down the streets of Ponyville, holding a book with her magic. (Twilight always has a book, it's her thing, so don"t ask me where she got it.) Pinkie Pie started to sing a song as they passed Sweet Apple Acres. "1,000 bottles of cider on the wall, 1,000 bottles of cider, take one down pass it around-" Pinkie looked at the Sweet Apple Acres entrance. "Oh, look! Sweet Apple Acres! HI APPLEJACK!" Pinkie yelled to Applejack, who was less than a few yards away. Applejack looked up from her apple bucking and jumped back. "Oh, girls, ya scared me!" she exclaimed, breathing hard. "Sorry!" They all said. Applejack leaned on a tree. "So, what bring you folks around to Sweet Apple Acres?" she asked them. "Angel is sick." Fluttershy said quietly as she petted Angel's head. "And we need to go to Zecora's to get a potion to cure him." Applejack nodded. "Well, ah just finished the orchard for the day, so ah suppose ah'll go with y'all." Soon, after many minutes of walking, they arrived at the dark, dreary entrance to the Everfree Forest that seemed to swallow all light from outside of it. They cautiously went in. Twilight lead the way, Pinkie bounce-walked like normal Pinkie, Rainbow Dash flew around, looking around for monsters they would for sure cross the path of, Rarity wrinkled her nose and looked at the uncouth (as she would put it) scenery, Applejack walked bravely, and Fluttershy huddled at the very back, cuddling Angel and whimpering. "A-are we almost there y-yet?" Fluttershy asked timidly, her voice trembling with fear. "By the looks of it, almost, sugar cube." Applejack said when they arrived at a patch of Poison Joke. The Six (and bunny) carefully tiptoed around it, not wanting to replay what happened the last time they ran into the poisonous plant. Soon, they stood on the doorstep of Zecora's hut. Twilight grabbed the door knocker and knocked.
