THE GREAT LIGHT WAR

It was another beautiful and sunny day in Canterlot. Everypony was going about their business. Celestia was talking to Twilight in the library. Luna was walking around on the outer wall of the castle. Her guards were standing next to her.

"Your highness is there a reason you are walking on the wall like this?"

"Yes I am waiting for somepony."

Luna heard a door opened and looked left. In the doorway there stood a navy blue stallion. He was wearing dark armor.

"Ah Shadowfury so nice for you to join us."

"It is my pleasure princess." He bowed when he said this.

"Have you done what I asked?"

"Yes I have we shouldn't have to worry about it."

"Please describe the story in detail for me."

The next half hour was Shadowfury telling Luna. He was sent to go divide the zebras so they couldn't help out Celestia. The plan had worked perfectly.The Sublime Council of the Zebra Tribes was gone for good and to busy infighting.

"This is most excellent news, But what of the griffons?"

"They wish to speak to you my lady, but I don't see why we need them."

"The Pegasus will not follow me so I must look else were for air units."

"Why won't they?"

"Because when I give the signal you will destroy Cloudsdale and bring it to the ground. So that Celestia can't use it against us."

"It shall be done my princess."

With that Shadowfury saluted and walked away. Luna turned to the guard then fly to her room. She was getting ready to meet with the griffon king and talk when she heard a knock on the door. She opened it to find  a guard.

"Princess you have a visitor in the hall."

Luna left and walked down to the hall to find a griffon standing.

"Hello my name is Gilda and i'm here to talk to you about the war you want."

After the meeting Luna walked to her sister.

"Where are the elements of harmony located?"

Without looking up from her paper Celestia replied "In Ponyville."

"Okay thanks."With that Luna left the room quickly and made way to Ponyville. I don't like how this sounds i better keep an eye on her. With that in mind Celestia closed the book and walked off.In Ponyville Luna was walking to a certain boutique. Inside a certain mare was busy with her work till she heard a knock on the door. She opened it to find Luna standing there.

"Welcome my princess to my humble abode."

"Please call me Luna."

"You sound so modern what happened?"

"I took lessons."

After a afternoon of talking Luna left.

"Mind telling me where Sweet Apple Acre is?"

"Its just in that direction darling." Luna thanked her for her help and walked away with an evil grin on her face. It'll take her a week but the elements of harmony will be out of the picture.

~~~~~~A WEEK LATER~~~~~~

Luna was relaxing with her marefriend Rarity. What started as a way to keep the elements of harmony turned into a relationship since they seemed to have alot in common. The door opened on them as Gilda walked in.

"I have come with the army of griffons that you asked for."

"Good Rarity please excuse me."

Luna got up and walked out the door. Before she could close it Rarity ran up next to them.

"You can't exclude me."

They talked and while they did over in Cloudsdale everything seemed alright. If you look below the city it was a different story.

"Men the princess wants us to destroy the city and everyone who resists dies. Now let the nightmare begin light us up."

With that the armor of Shadowfury and his gang caught on fire. Fluttershy was up in Cloudsdale helping Twilight with some princess work. The next thing anyone knew screaming and flaming creatures appeared out of the sky and landed on Cloudsdale. Fluttershy got scared and ran inside to get Twilight out of the library.

"What are you doing?"

"Look outside." Twilight turned her head to look outside then saw flaming things killing and destroying the place. Twilight grabbed Fluttershy and both ran out the city and were flying away. Twilight looked back as she saw alot of Pegasus fleeing the destroyed city as the clouds slowly dissipated with help of magic.

"Fluttershy you go home I must tell Celestia at once." Twilight turned and started flying to Canterlot as Fluttershy went home to go hide under her bed. Back in Cloudsdale the nightmare forces walked away from the spot where Cloudsdale was.

"Men you did a good job. Did anyone see what you look like." He looked around then smiled when he saw everyone shaking their heads. They walked back to go tell the princess. The only stop they made was to a river to wash off the blood and stop the fire on them.

At the castle  Celestia was looking at a map when Twilight burst through the door.

"Celestia."

"Hey Twilight what brings you here?"

"Cloudsdale was attacked and destroyed!"

"Who attacked it?"

"I don't know all we say were flaming beasts that screeched with dark red eyes."

"Hmmmm this is troubling news I need you to get your friends and have them come here."

"Okay Celestia." With that Twilight left to go get her friends as Celestia looked over her map. I sure hope the the zebras are okay their ambassador left in a hurry and I haven't gotten word since.
