The night guard breathes heavily, his uniform drenched in sweat. He flips through the camera's trying to find something. As he looks there's only one thing on his mind, 'This is so not worth the paycheck...' He flips to camera 2B and just barely sees what he's looking for. He goes to the closes camera to that room and tries to play a sound file but the Animatronic enters the office and screams in his face. He goes unconscious, a new stain on his pants.
"Spike! You got everything?" Twilight practically yells. Not saying that she didn't like the Castle of Friendship but it just felt too...big to her. "Yeah." Spike replies, walking into the main hall. In his arms he's carrying 3 bags; One full of gems, one full of personal care items, i.e. shampoo, and one bag with a mini lab in it. "Good, lets get to the train station." She levitates the bag of gems and the mini lab next to her as they walk. When they get there they see Pinkie Pie hopping around, waiting for them. "Hi Twi! Hi Spike!" "Hey Pinkie. You ready?" Pinkie nods her head, fast. So fast in fact her puffy hair flies everywhere but somehow goes back to normal when she stops. The train whistle blows loudly as they step in and take their seats. "So, where exactly are we going Twilight?" "Well...I'm not entirely sure but the place is called Freddy Fazbear Museum. All that I know about it is that it was built by Fazbear Entertainment as a place for ponies to see the animatronics and other stuff." "Cool!"
Once the train reaches Canterlot a few hours later they walk off to the lower section of the city. They soon reach their destination, just as it's about to close up for the day. The museum guard looks at them. "Sorry ladies and dragon, the museum is just starting to close up." "We aren't here to see the exhibits, we're here about a certain...incident that I learned about thanks to the Princesses." The guard's eyes light up a bit at Twilight's words. "Then please...come in. I would have to lock the door from the inside anyways before the start of my shift." He waits for them to enter and then locks the door behind them. "Welcome to the museum, where at night your nightmare comes to light." "Isn't a little..." "Super duper dark?" "Yeah...what Pinkie said." "Yeah...it is but it's true." He walks them to his office and he sits in the chair, a tablet slides out to his right and he flips to the main 'stage' area. "There we go, look at it." Everyone, with Spike climbing onto Pinkie's head to see but sinking into her mane up to his chest, looks and sees a rather run down animatronic that looks like a golden bunny. "What is that thing?" "That my dear dragon is Springtrap. He's one of the old animatronic suits that was used at the original location but was discontinued after one at a sister location had a springlock failure." "What happened?" Pinkie asks, curious but also nervous. "Well....the electronics rushed back into place but a pony was still inside...." Everyone else's face turns green slightly. "H-how do you know this?" "Oh yeah...forgot to tell you my name." He turns and looks at them. "The name's Lightning Telegraph, I was the instructor for that location."
The night wears on, the clock eventually reaching 1 AM. Somehow Telegraph lost track of Springtrap and is getting nervous.
