It was a wonderful afternoon in Ponyville; the birds chirping, bright blue skies above as the wind blew a cool breeze. It was amazing, a perfect day for a walk, examine the scenery a little bit, here and there. But this seemed like the best day ever for a light turquoise unicorn named Felix.
Felix's figure was one of almost a mares. His upper body was slim and smooth while his rear fit him perfectly; nice, round, and plump with smooth texture. He was shorter than most stallions, definitely the size of an average mare. He took care of his fur, it felt extremely soft, like velvet or a cloud practically. Though he continued walking.
His lavender and light orange mane wavered in front of his face due to the wind. He used a hoof to push it out of his eyes as he trotted down the street, looking around to all the happy ponies. He loved his walks, he never could go a day without one unless it was rainy. Even then, he'd spend his day doing something productive, like reading a book, or even writing stories.
Felix was rather anonymous in town, he didn't have much friends or knew too many ponies. Besides the mare he bought his food from at the marketplace. But even then, he didn't hang out with her, he loved his time alone to relax and think about his day. He didn't mind it, but it would be good to have a few friends to hang out with.
He was curious to try now, knowing that there was a perfect place to meet new and exotic ponies. There was a club that opened usually at around 9 or 10 o'clock. Yeah, he'd go there, maybe have a few drinks, mostly sodas; he wasn't much of a drinker at all. He just continued walking, passing the time by reading a book on the bench at a park.
* * *
Time flew by when he was reading, that usually happened when it was a good book. Like everyone says, "Time flies when you're having fun " He said to himself, chuckling lightly, closing his book before looking up to the sky. It was getting dark pretty fast, and probably now the club would have been open.
He placed his book back in his saddle bag before getting back up and getting ready to go. He placed the sadly bag on his back before trotting away, heading towards the club. It wasn't too far away, the walk got him closer to it, but he was still pretty far away from his house. Maybe after he could stay at a hotel, he wasn't a fan of walking at night, it was scary.
A few minutes later, he could hear muffled sounds of music nearby which meant he was close. He soon saw flashing lights in a few windows atop a large brick building, on the outskirts of town. Many ponies were lined up to go inside, the bouncer checking I.D. and such. Every time the door opened, the loud sounds of dubstep could be heard before it was muffled as the door closed.
He was a bit unsure of his choice, but one way or another, he needed some new friends to hang out with. And what best of a place than a club where ponies go and mingle every night. Plus the building was big, he wasn't sure how big on the inside, big it was pretty big on the outside. It was at least three stories tall, each window lighting up with strobe lights of all sorts of colors.
He stepped in line behind a stallion with grey fur, red and black mane, with a grayish blue hoodie on. He wasn't sure whether or not to greet this pony. The stallion didn't look so excited about the club as Felix was. He just shrugged it off and waited till he reached the bouncer.
The bouncer stared down at Felix, a good two feet taller than him. The bouncer looked buff, Felix would definitely not win a fight against him. He felt a bit uncomfortable, staring up at the bouncer, swallowing a lump in his throat. But when the bouncer spoke, his voice was deep and gruff. Felix just wanted to leave, only the thought of making friends keeping him there.
"I.D., please…" The bouncer spoke, looking down at Felix, holding out his clipboard with magic, offering Felix to pit his I.D. on it.
"U-uh… O-oh yeah, heh, sorry about that." Felix quickly said, roaming his bag for his I.D. before placing it onto the clipboard.
The bouncer lifted the clipboard up to his face, examining it, then looking down at Felix. The bouncer gave a wry grin, chuckling slightly. Felix was confused, did he do something wrong? He still wasn't sure, but the chuckle gave Felix a chill. He didn't want to know what was going on in the head of the bouncer.
"I almost mistaken you for a mare, but as a stallion, I guarantee you're gonna have a lot more fun here. Just make sure you don't drink TOO much." The bouncer said, chuckling once more. It was obvious that the bouncer liked Felix's form, but was too busy with guarding the place. Or else, he would have Felix all for himself. "Head on in."
Felix nodded slightly as the bouncer stepped aside for him. He then headed on in, music blaring loudly in his ear, lights flashing, and ponies dancing. It all seemed fun, the music was great and the amount of ponies made him give a smile. Maybe he would meet some new ponies here. He only continued on.
As he walked, he got a better look at the scenery. Ponies grinded up against each other, ponies making out, and some scenes he'd rather not stare at for too long. He bit his lower lip in thought as he approached the bar. At the bar, few ponies were sitting down, most up dancing and drinking. He then sat himself down, having to climb up to the stool a bit due to his size.
Within a few minutes, a stallion had trotted up to him, obviously the bartender since he was behind the counter.
"What can I get ya', ma'am?" The bartender asked with a smile, looking towards Felix.
"U-uh… I'm a stallion, not a mare," He said, a little annoyed that he was thought of as a made to many others, "and I'll have white mountain ale." He said. His father used to drink that stuff around him and let Felix have a taste when he was young; he liked it a lot. So he decided to order it, be like his old stallion.
"Oh, my mistake, I'll just give it to ya' free of charge!" The bartender gave another smile, heading off to make Felix his drink.
Felix sighed, it wasn't going as planned, he already felt a bit odd being here, especially with the fact that he'd get hit on by some stallions. He just wanted more friends to hang out with. Someone he could drink with and have fun. But for all he knew, this night might not be as good as he thought it would be.
The bartender soon came back with a glass of White Mountain Ale and a couple of ice cubes in it. Felix thanked him before floating the glass to his lips and taking a sip. He coughed a bit as it went down like fire; like before, he wasn't much of a drinker. But he took a few more sips and it began to go down easier.
Behind him, there was a stallion eyeing him nonstop. The stallion seemed to be staring at his figure, thinking of what things he could do to Felix. Though the stallion had no idea that Felix was a stallion as well, but that's what made it fun. The stallion wiped his mouth, checked his breath and fixed his mane before heading over to Felix, taking a seat beside him.
"Hey there, sweetie, what got you hanging around here all alone?" The light purple Pegasus asked Felix. The Pegasus eyed Felix, smiling down at him, he was obviously trying to be sweet to him.
Felix looked up to the Pegasus to get a better look at him, all while a faint blush appeared on his cheeks due to the fact that he'd just been called 'sweetie', it was uncomfortable. But he had to make friends one way or another. Even if it had to be a little weird to make them.
"I uh... Ahem," he cleared his throat so his voice didn't crack as he spoke, "I'm just for a drink and meet some new ponies like everyone else." He shrugged, giving off a small smile.
The stallion kept looking down at him, then to his drink. It was a pretty light drink, he could easily get Felix drunk and bring him on home for a little fun, but that was boring.
"Well, I'm Nebulous, its fantastic to meet such a pretty mare like yourself. What's your name?" Nebulous asked, curious to know what his name was.
"I'm a stallion! ...N-not a... Mare..." He bursted a bit, having a few others looking over to him. He was getting quite sick of being thought of as a made and blushed even more, looking away slightly. "S-sorry... In just... A lot of stallions here thought I was a mare..." He sighed, knowing probably Nebulous would leave.
"You still didn't give me your name." Nebulous gave a smile, not caring if Felix was a stallion, if anything, it would make his time with Felix all the more special. "I don't mind if you're a stallion, maybe I just want to get to know you." He spoke softly, making sure to make Felix feel comfortable.
Felix was unsure of the situation, taking another sip from his drink, clearing his throat once again. He didn't want to say anything, but this would be the only way he'd make friends.
"I-I'm... I'm Felix. Felix Veneer." Felix spoke uneasily, a stutter in his voice. He hated feeling this nervous, it was a sick feeling he always got in the pit of his stomach. He just needed to loosen up a bit more. He took another larger sip of his drink, now reaching the halfway point.
"Whoa, slow down there, you lose a loved one or something?" He asked, making sure he didn't lose the cute stallion to drinking before he could use him the way he wanted. He patted Felix on the back, chuckling softly. "Just take it easy, I'm not gonna hurt ya'." He spoke aloud before thinking to himself, 'At least not too much~'.
"Oh y-yeah, I just need to loosen up... I've been stressed lately, mostly because I've been a bit lonely." Felix admitted, chewing on the inside of his cheek. He spaced out slightly, staring off in thought, almost forgetting that the stallion was there.
"Well... You know I could probably make your night a little bit more fun?" Nebulous said, pulling something from his saddle bag. Felix had no idea he was doing so, paying attention to his emptying drink. It Nebulous' hoof was a needle, glowing with what seemed like a yellow liquid.
"What do you mean?" Felix asked, looking up to Nebulous. He was curious, but knew this would probably end up badly for him. He didn't know how, but the sick feeling in his gut wasn't going away. "Uhm... I think I'm good, I'll be leaving once I'm done with my drink." He finally came to a conclusion, not liking night clubs as much as he thought he would.
"Well uh... You see that group of mares over there?" Nebulous pointed to a group of mares, mingling with each other. Felix obviouslynfell for such a stupid trick, turning to look at the mares before him. Nebulous then took the chance, taking the needle and pressing it to Felix's neck, the yellow liquid flowing through him quickly.
"W-wha...?" Felix spoke, pressing a hoof to the prick mark of where the needle used to be, rubbing it slightly. The liquid glowed through his veins for a moment before it began to take affect. He looked to Nebulous, who was grinning the whole time, his vision was blackening around the outsides. "W-what'd you... W-wh... Y-you..." Light was fading for him quickly and all he felt was the rush of falling and the softness of feathers holding him close.
"Nighty night, cutie~" Was the last words he heard out of the Pegasus' mouth before his world turned dark and cold.
